FemiMaduka:One of the few sensible comments I've read on this matter |
Equity15:Thank God you later saw and acknowledged so. Most prejudiced minds won't do that. My point is simple. Building a country of our dreams is not by decrees. Even God didn't sit on his throne and decree that the whole world be saved. Buhari could as well order all rice sellers to sell at 10k per bag, that N1 be set to $1 etc. Let's give knocks where we should |
Khaleell001:As usual, Emotions, emotions and emotions beclouding sound reasoning. You didn't address any issue I raised. It's simply that we must all like whoever you like just like you like them. |
Unlike most comments I've read, this minister is perhaps the biggest joke in the buhari cabinet.. Either the most incompetent or he's a learner. He knows what to do to garner public sympathy. And from comments here, he's been successful at it. Things don't always work by orders. Apart from this recent one, other orders are empty media noises. You sit in your office and order network operators not to charge for ussd bank transactions, so who takes the cost? , order that data charges be cheap, as though you put them in business .. Go in, meet with stakeholders, and address the key issues, not ruling by fiat. The man looks promising, but he needs to be schooled on how things work in a private sector. Kudos for this all the same |
GoTV:Your comment shows your ignorance on the Christian faith. You perhaps don't what preaching is, let alone who is fake. Please learn more about Christianity so you could better act as one in a faceless forum as this |
Comments here show lots of people didn't bother to read. By "export", he meant selling their rice to other states. This ought not to make news as it is nothing |
Imagine being fined $2.8b. If we had such money, we wouldn't need China |
GoTV:Don't deceive the public. You're not and never a Christian |
soberdrunk:That's where you miss it. This is why Africa is like this. We only think about now, and care less about the future. If someone told our fathers about population control back then when they marry multiple wives and reproduce, they will say they don't care. But see the effect today. Climate change is behind ruga Climate change is why several people from the upper north are migrating down south. It's why the weather is changing now and more floods are being recorded. You want several industries to be built so there are jobs for the youth, but you don't want us to talk about the impact on our health and that of future generation |
Nice move. But it should not have a deadline attached to it. It should be a continuous exercise |
SarkinYarki:He never claimed to "invent" |
efilefun:Because most didn't read till the end |
This is just one side to the story. I do well to hear the Google side before drawing conclusions. But as far as I know, Google should not be expected to endorse any app downloaded outside its play store. So if aptoide or whatever is another app download market, why should Google not flag it? |
martineverest:The post says yesterday.. Not this morning |
This is seriously serious |
Yes.. So what's next.. Anyone with past questions and tips? |
Let them present a Fashola, or at least, osinbajo.. Anything else I'm off |
Bloggers, why quoting this woman out if context now? Why just an excerpt if not for your mischievous motives |
TheIkoro:So sorry about the incidence ma/sir.. This is one of what false doctrines do. From your statement "renounce Christianity" , I knew you're coming from an erroneous premise.. If you don't mind, I can recommend podcasts to listen to, facebook friends to add up and pages to follow.. It's obvious some light on salvation needs to be shed. You don't "renounce" salvation. Salvation is not a contractual agreement you had with God. This is where most persons miss it. The covenant was between God and His Son Jesus, not you. Jesus came and met the terms of the covenant and has sealed it. Where we come in is as an heir.. Salvation is an inheritance for us thru Jesus Christ. 4. Rom 8:17 KJVLite And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 7. Gal 3:29 KJVLite And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. 8. Eph 3:6 KJVLite That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 9. Tit 3:7 KJVLite That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. We are not a party in salvation: we are heirs/beneficiaries. The one who has the power to "renounce" (if there's any word like that) has to be the parties. "I renounce my salvation" for one who is truly saved is like this *[[1Co 12:15]] KJV* If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If my hand should say it is not part of me, would that mean it is not part of me? If your son says he is renouncing you, will that change his DNA automatically? When you come into God thru Christ, you're into an eternal union. Of course, such an individual is expected to bring forth fruits of righteousness. Fruit bearing only comes after salvation, not before |
With all sincerity, the op needs intensive bible investigation.. Our God is "agbanilagbatan" (ie One who Saves completely) If God ever saved you, it's eternally. It can't be changed. The doctrine of partial salvation is an assumption of men, and it impugns the integrity of the great God.. Sincerely, I don't think an atheist if he will ever imagine God, should from his highest folly utter such. I'll leave with an OT verse *[[Psa 125:1-3/KJV]]* %v 1% They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. %v 2% As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. %v 3% For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. When you turn scriptures meant for salvation into beggarly, paltry, asinine trivialities and ephemerals, eternal insecurity is what you get enslaved to |
See everyone blaming the guy, forgetting that Borno has a fairly large Christian population and number of churches |
They have to withdraw their kids before another news of paedophilia |
Ramos16:Thats exactly the problem. You dashed for an english dictionary to understand the bible! A dictionary is meant to tell you the meaning of a word as used in the contemporary world |
Ramos16:Prove your points with scriptures pls The OP has placed scriptures for all to see, at least |
the issue of collectin change or not is just denominational liturgy, not any bible Orthodox churches forbid this for sanity. Their offering bag is specially designed such that no one knows what you drop in it, and no one will normally dip in his hands to pick anything.. but modern pentecostals have it different. All can see what you drop in the tray, and u can collect change |
Imustreturn:Not so sir/ma A saint is anyone who has been sanctified by the blood of Jesus once and for all not some morally upright walking folks Dont get me wrong, walking upright is the norm for all saints (those washed), but walking upright does not make you a saint of God |
any PhD applicant interviewed today? or scheduled for tomorrow |
Sansee792:hmm.. looks like your case is different o. never heard of anyone else asked PIN. but don't be afraid. it's nothing |
how does one get to UI, Ibadan from Lagos? any help |
great write-up |
a 20-year-old somebody / something or the person / thing is 20 years old you don't say "I am 20 year old" but you can say "I am a 20-year-old" |
Even though I'm a born again Christian, i commend the Kenyan government for this clamp down on fake preachers. I encourage the Nigerian government to follow the kenyan model and jail all bastards parading as pastors defrauding gullible Christians with false teachings. Unlike our Muslim brothers who preach and follow the tenets of Islam, hunger and poverty are the reasons why we Christians keeps setting up business centres disguised as churches. Its time the federal government ban and execute all fake pastors by firing squad
