I don't know how a lot of people here analyse politics especially naija politics, if you think northerners would be dumb to vote another southerner in who can go for 2 terms when they know they can even get a northerner in 2027 or 4yrs after then you need to go study naija politics 101, the ship has sailed already

Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Kayyy: 12:38am On Feb 12
My verdict, we have done well, we have exceeded the expectations we had going to the tournament, no one gave that squad a chance to get to the final, the problems we had in the final today was a problem that was obvious for over 6 months or even our world cup qualification. We had a patched midfield that did well getting to the finals but was badly exposed today. No point feeling bad , I can only praise them.

Now my reaction to this, enough of huge ego of we have too many talents and any player that doesn't want to play for us should not come, it's time to build our TEAM, qualifying for semi finals and Finals in Afcon and loosing should not continue to be a habit, it was obvious we needed ball carriers and runners to help Onyeka's hardwork in that midfield but lacked it soon much. Now we need to go find them. We need 2 technical teams from the nff that should go round and convince players to play for Nigeria, we have to many diaspora talents that we can't just relax and say we can't beg them infact from the English league, Italian league, German league we can build a squad from them, while watching that final today I could just imagine having a runner like Ogbene of Luton town and a ball carrier like Eze along with Onyeka we would counter that ivory coast team like demons. We gave our attackers especially Osihmen little chance., It's time to go and reach out and convince the diaspora talents more

The second technical team should focus on the local league and African league and find talents there too. We should not be patching up a squad with few weeks/ months to the to tournament, there is another Afcon next year we have work to do. Thanks very much.

It happened on a Sunday. Ikeja cantonment Cdss had to relocate for a while. Not just for a day. The students could no longer school at the barracks during that period. So they were relocated to Anthony village.

Till date I keep thanking God and grateful it was a Sunday, where those bombs are kept where it started out exploding and CDSS Ikeja is just divided by a walk way, I had graduated from school when it happened but I remember majority of us pass that walkway from close of school to our different lesson classes and some to home and i was sure many still did then , I couldn't have imagined if it was during workday and in the afternoon or evening time like 5, it would have been horrific. Of course they couldn't use the School for years cos the destruction was too terrible.

In any what rational would he decide to forge his certificate?

Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy: Tinubu Should Have Done This Instead Of Palliatives by Kayyy: 12:31pm On Aug 22, 2023
Onyiridike:
General Ibrahim Babagida, the only military President of Nigeria, he also built the Eleme Petrochemical Refinery in Rivers State, within the 8years he stayed in office.

General Yakubu Gowon built the other three refineries under his 9years in office.

Nigeria have had uninterrupted democratic governance for 24years, yet none of the regimes within this period thought of putting our 4 No. refineries in good shape against all odds, not to talk about building new ones.

A new Modular Refinery will cost between 180million to 250million dollars depending on the capacity. Converting this amount to naira and pegging the exchange rate at 800naira as Government, a brand new Modular Refinery of between 25,000 - 30,000bpd and taking the highest value of 250million dollars will cost the FG 200billion naira, and it takes between 15 to 18months to complete and commence operations.

Very importantly, Federal Govt. said they saved 1trillion naira for 2months (June and July 2023) out of non payment of subsidy on petrol (PMS). I don't know how true this is. Based on this statistics and looking at the time frame between August to December 2023, they would save at least additional 2trillion naira before the end of the year.

This 500billion shared as palliatives to politicians and the 1trillion saved by the FG as a result of 2months of subsidy removal could give Nigeria at least 6 No. new Modular Refineries.

Would this not have been a better solution to the biting economic situation in the short and long term in Nigeria?

What information would have been more soothing in this painful situation, than the FG communicating the construction of these 6No.new Modular refineries to Nigerians and expected date of completion and commencement of operations.

This in reality will revive hope and spurs-up our enthusiasm to persevere, taking into account, the timelines spelt out for these projects to start functioning. This thing are not nuclear or rocket sciences but out of love and determination to make Nigeria better.

At least additional 2trillion naira is expected to come into the coffers of the FG between August to December 2023 as savings, if we continue with this policy, which I do not foresee any change.

Extremely challenging time for Nigerian leaders to determine to deliver on the mandate bestowed upon them by the people. it really inspires reflection.

Copied!!!

How do you guys think these things, there are 4 moribund refineries that Tinubu needs to to publicly tell us what decisions the government would be taking concerning them, out if the 4 they are repairing 1, there is no public known plan on the remaining 3, what we should be asking Tinubu and his government is what he intends to do with the remaining 3, if they are selling or repairing, but without action plan on the existing 3 you guys are asking they build 6 smaller refineries that would take another 2 years to be completed? What should happen to the current economic realities of Nigerians during the next 6 months not to talk of 2years ? And lastly are asking government to start building business again when the ones currently on ground are being managed terribly?.

It is actually to early to tell. The economy is in trauma sequel to the ending of the fuel subsidy. Now, add the desired unification of the exchange rates and this surprisingly increased the pain as it seemed a few items were priced at the then very unrealistic official exchange rate.

It will take sometime for economy to adapt to the removal of the subsidy. It drag down growth for at least 2 years. Afterwards, the economic growth can begin the roar.

I think government should slash corporate taxes to 15% or less. This will encourage local and foreign investors to invest in the economy.

The 75bn to be given to 75 companies as loans to my opinion would have been better spent wooing investors by providing them with incentives to set up shop here. Many western companies are fleeing China and looking for countries to invest in. Many are going to Indonesia, Vietnam and especially India. Many could be wooed to come here.

I am sure many Chinese companies too can be wooed here but my worry is there worrisome labour practices. Perhaps, only reputable Chinese firms should be encouraged to set up shop here. The truth is at this point, the country can't be choosy.

While there is always need for investors, it's time to majorly look inwards to establish huge local manufacturers that would compete with the investors if the government provides good business climate for them. Enough of investors moving out tens to hundreds of billions of dollars out of the country every other month.

Bros, let's not get it twisted. At the moment Nigeria is not yet dead. The fact that previous governments didn't get it right does not preclude the current administration from changing history.

Let me ask you a simple question..... With all the myriad of problems you have listed at the refineries, do you doubt that the same refinery would become functional if it was sold to a private individual eg Otedola? Corruption thrives when an atmosphere is provided for it. We all were here when people were voluntarily refunding looted funds to government when Buhari initially assumed office because of fear of his body language. It just takes making an example of a few people in the system for the others to sit up. Look at what is happening in Niger Republic now that the Military has taken over and people are being threatened with execution if they cannot account for public funds. I'm not saying our own will be that extreme but just imagine..... Would any worker in his right mind risk looting seeing his boss being dealt with severely?

If we clamp down on all these leakages you would be surprised at the amount of revenue we will generate in addition to the funds freed up from inflated subsidy figures. Combine that with some loans to fund the shortfall and relate the economy and watch Nigeria bounce back

You also forget that we also have just collected 500bn from world Bank. First of all that 75b earmarked for senate will be cancelled ASAP. That can go into planting cassava on 150000 hectares of land.

Also if we do a comprehensive audit of Nnpc, customs, Firs and CBN you will be shocked at the amount of looted funds we will recover that we will use to finance all these programmes.

Now imagine if we give DSS and EFCC 50billion each to go after all those who have looted public funds or and reward them with a 5% finders fee, do you doubt the wonders those guys will do to help us fight this war on corruption and help us get firmly back on road to recovery?

Tinubu listed some nice programs but until he decides to look corruption in the face and fight it head on all these so called funds will just go down the drain.

First things first. Probe Nnpc, CBN and customs. Set the tone that it won't be business as usual. Otherwise all these policies by the government won't get the desired results.

Good morning, I am just seeing this , and all you have said is very good, so nice but in a perfect world , I am afraid thus would only be achieved in an autocratic rule not a democratic rule. I am pleased you mentioned Buhari's body language but what happened in the end, opposition politicians and their tribal affiliates coupled with lack of sincerity and the desperate need to win a second term truncated all those war against looters and it became watered down. Any democratic presudent that would attempt this will always fail I believe, but in an autocratic setting this would be very perfect.

Well someone else may argue that when a patient is hemorrhaging the first thing to do is to stop the haemorrhage before additional interventions. If one likens the removed subsidy to the loss of blood, the speed of implementation may be justified. Only one who is privy to the accounting books of the country will be able to tell how bad things are. Of course, we all should have an idea that this economy has been near comatose since around 2013 when Okonjo revealed that FG was borrowing to pay civil servants. Subsidy ought to have gone since Jonathan proposed it in 2012 but it is better late than never. The other thing that needs attention is the cost of governance.

I hear you bro, but pls kindly read up and also other threads on this forum, can you see these critics d not even have a clear criticism but just throwing stones to different things, we have those castigating and insulting the president quite rightly for the 2012 protests and not allowing Jonathan to complete this removal, at the same time you still find others claiming the president is just a coward and weak and championing that subsidy should be brought back and rather put policies in place to capture the right amount of imported fuel, be strict and prosecute saboteurs and the big fraudsters living large if the subsidy, their claim is that if he has the will and the capacity he can achieve that and the amount we budget would reduce drastically and we can still pay the subsidy.

Pls is that not speaking with both sides of the mouth, can they really say what they actually want ?. Lastly many people here have intentionally failed to state that even after Jonathan was pressured on the subsidy with all the strike and protests, Jonathan did not just reverse the policy but rather agreed a 50% subsidy and fuel was finally moved from 65naira to 97naira? Where are the savings of that 50% and what were they used for and why are we still here after that 50% removal, also why didn't we get a functional and working refinery from that 50% removal or did we ?

Look let's get it right the problem is not the subsidy the problem is the process of the subsidy payments there is a lot of inefficiency in the subsidy payment process which is what has given rise to all the corruption and leakage in the system so my own first focus will be blocking all those loopholes. We all know that the reported daily fuel consumption figure was inflated. We also know that there was significant smuggling because there was no tracking from the depots to the filling stations. These are simple things that could have been done to reduce the amount we pay for subsidy whilst tackling the corruption in the subsidy process.

So I'm quite sure that we won't use another 3.5 trillion to subsidize fuel. Also there will be a state of emergency declared on our refineries and everything will be done to ensure they come on line before December. Until we can secure self sufficiency in domestic production I will not remove subsidy because fuel subsidy was a direct consequence of fuel importation.

Bro, not knocking your ideas, you still didn't get my point, firstly mention any successive govt that has actually blocked any loophole or conduit for corruption completely in this country since inception, you know why ? It's not about you , it's about the workers, even the lowest of the officers have their form of corruption not to talk of the managerial positions. I know how much my friends at Tin Can Apapa were taking home daily about 10years ago and how they spend on me when I go greeting them and none were at managerial level. So it's not about the person at the top , the policies he would put in place would still be managed in the ground, would you as president know how the bush routes would be created to move products ?. Besides there would always be review in the quantity of refined imported products cos people would buy cars and other equipments that use petrol as the years goes on, so wouldn't you be reviewing to capture them ? .

Lastly and most importantly, have you quantified the amount you want to spend on all these programs in a short term and loan it would involved and refinancing and servicing of those loans vis a vis the current debt profile ? You want spend trillions on subsidy and refineries, spending hundreds of billions to manage naira/dollar exchange , increase minimum wage , spend on education etc all these within just 6 months , where will these money come from ? And how do we pay it back hot minding we're still paying the one owed by your predecessor Buhari?, Mind you , you will still be presenting your own appropriation bill for the year 2024 in 6 months with all these your spending ?

So after the previous government budgeted around 3.5 trillion in subsidy just for Jan-June and were shooting our debts up to 77trillion naira,You will in your first month budget another round of trillions on subsidy, while servicing more debts, where will you get the money you claim you want to spend on your other programmes when you have used your initiative to reduce your earnings by using it to service further debts ? Also I guess you will still use your earnings and further loans to continue to defend the naira/dollar exchange rate ? And before You know it in 3-4 months if you in office our debts have moved from 77 trillion to over 85 trillion without any functional project on ground. And these are the people insulting Buhari , Jonathan, Tinubu etc ? When online you go find out say majority of these critics will crumble this country faster than the people they love to insult.

I am not a fan of government soft loans to business. They are usually squandered.

It would have been better if the CBN fought inflation. Tinubu and the CBN do not want the economy to enter a recession and have therefore been dovish about inflation.

Low inflation would be the best present to the suffering masses. Next should be to bring commercial lending rates from banks down to single digits. Rates of 9% and less should be the standard. This will help certain perk up the economy

These are good points, but as Nigerians that we are we need to tell ourselves the truth, low inflation will not happen overnight from where Buhari left, how would be a country that was servicing debts with trillions would automatically have low inflation within months, also consider this government is trying to mop up money being used to defend the naira and pay subsidy and there is intense pressure from labour to double or even triple minimum wage amidst this same inflation , I don't see how the inflation would come down drastically. While I share the idea that banks should be made responsible for these loans by reducing lending percentage, me and you know that the banks itself are another conduit for manipulation, nepotism and corruption as well. Also not minding the fact that these banks are business and would take advantage to make unprecedented profits for itself and it's share holders and might not even capture as much as many SMEs as possible. It's just a situation btw death and the deep blue sea in my opinion.

Sad really sad same mistake Buhari made
Same mistake..

Government has no business giving out loans to people that can't work corruption would eat 80% of it... I don't know why they keep doing this maybe they actually want to eat from it

You want to spend 50 billion do cultivate rice? Fine... Make this money available to banks at say 3% interest rate Banks loan this money to rice farmers at 10% ... Bank has to make sure the loan get to the right people to make their own profit

Banks know the real rice farmers

What is so difficult here... Why must u leave room for people to steal why?

I am sorry to do this and pls do not take this as an attack, if you do not like someone you will never see any goodwill of the person and sometimes you would only argue blindly. We know on this forum you do not like this man, I just want to address something, when you lots tout your mantra of "from consumption to production" how do you intend to achieve this production without giving the SMEs access to loans for their manufacturing ? Or were you going to import the manufacturing firms from abroad ? This man's press release is trying to capture the poor of the poor, the petty traders and moving up to the manufacturing people, should he have abandoned those that are least on the ladder and focus loans only to SMEs? Lastly while you might have a point that loans are conduit for people just taking their part of the national cake and not ready to pay back, at the end of the day no matter how true this is , no serious government would use that as an excuse to turn away from loaning businesses, Jonathan loaned businesses and there was corruption, all the people that were given rice mill license and allowed to import rice for a period with waivers , how many of then completed their rice mill ? But Buhari wasn't going to because of that suspend the efforts for rice sufficiency and had to give loans again, even Peter Obi would not because loans giving out before have failed now refuse to give manufacturing firms loans too . So rather than just conclude that the loans would fail, can you tell us the better way to fund these SMEs and other manufacturers?, Thanks

Interesting read, at the end of the day, all these demands for free this free that, free education this and that is just because of the lifestyle of our political class, when jeeps worth hundreds of millions are shared each, from furniture, newspaper, house allowance and all these rubbish are not enough for them and they still dipp their hands into the money for the people by padding contracts and all, definitely the people would demand for more and more even unrealistic demands. When you see their counterparts and contemporary in even developed countries and you can boast that Nigerian policiians are far richer than them in accrued wealth, properties and resources then you can't blame the people. How and why should a politician in Nigeria with the wages given to the people, budget allocatiions to the people be competing with politicians like Rishi Dubai, Mitt Romney etc in wealth, how ? This is the elephant in the room .

Obviously I agree that unrealistic demands are made by the people, I say this because we demand subsidized education, subsidized helathcare, yet we want world class universities ( we complain that ours are not even ranked top in Africa let alone the rest of the world), we complain we don't have world class hospitals, world class roads , after all this subsidized programs, when we finish and start working , we complain we are not earning international standards, that we are earning close to nothing, an example of the doctor that used about 1-1.5milion to study in a govt institution and wants something close NHS based salary, then leave claiming they are being treated like slaves and underpaid while you want to go where they spend about £80-100,000 to study. In summary you want the govt to cheapen or make free all the instruments you need to be a Woking class person and then demand from the same govt a salary air standard commensurate to developed countries pay structure. This is obviously unrealistic, even the so called international countries are rolling back all their free programmes, tertiary education in the UK you account for now yourself, and teh taxes alone from wages are increasing by the decades, nothing is sustainable for life.

But like I started with, it's not entirely the fault of those asking for cheap, or free at the same time standard , it's because they have seen the political class live a life of their international peers thus if they can live such lifestyle the populace also desire the international lifestyle of their counterparts too. Unfortunately there is no solution at hand cos irrational greed cannot be stopped in this country.

There are lots of educated illeterates in this country and this same people are also disingenuous, you are not interested in reality but clannishness, tribalism and useless shoulder competition. All you do is to complain, some of you expect miracles and the annoying and most stupid amongst your statement is mentioning Obi all the time, this man did not perform one magic, not one transformation during his previous political tenure and you believe in one month he would have performed a magic to reduce dollar, and make fuel cheaper, and to cap it all you mention palliative measures to help, which difference would palliative measures make? The same palliative that would be budgeted in hundreds of billions that you would still use to insult the govt and claim it is corruption?

Then you talk about reducing govt spending, fine even if that is done, it is just a drop in the ocean concerning the matters on ground here and I'll tell you why, Tinubu can only prune the executive budget, he cannot touch the legislative budget , so I ask how much is the executive budget for year and how much of it would be cut that would make sense, do not forget that the executive budget contains the budget for the president, VP's office, Also rock et al, then the budget for all ministries and agencies of the govt so I ask how much should be cut that would be enough to offer palliatives?

Lastly, for those interested, what you are seeing currently is the reality of your economy that Buhari has been borrowing to increase our debt to cover. Yes all the borrowing you were insulting Buhari about , about 30-40% of it is spent on putting facade and makeup on the naira and the economy and this includes the subsidy payment they incurred, now that those are no more, you are using your eyes to see the real image of your economy. The real question you should rather ask Tinubu now is what is he going to do to start the repairs cos this is like a damaged car that you have seen the impact of the damage now ykj want to repair. What are the plans to start the repairs and how long would it take before it gets further damaged. So instead of gnashing of teeth and insulting people everyday in here , we need to ask for the solutions. Examples of these solutions should be what is the timeline for the repair of the other refineries Buhari was working on before he handed over?, What is the timeline for Dangote?, What are the plans in place for increase our exportation ?we need more dollar into the system, what are the ways to get more of these ?, How do we discourage more dollar spending ? Opening the economy, seaports on other regions etc not asking for handouts that would be borrowed with loans , with little getting to the people and govt officials making a killing out of it.

I have been seeing many people on here and many different forums and Twitter bigging up Bajetic incase there is no DM purchased for this new season, I do hope Klopp has seen what it looks like to lose value and be deemed overated in the space of 1season, has seen his team served shambolic and disgraceful defensive lapses last season, I have also been even reading how Fabinho would not be as bad next season, and I need to sound the warning as clearly as I can

The two midfielders we have added are adding creativity, passing, flair, possession and goals to our midfield but little pressing or keeping in shape outside possession, when we are outside possession or countered you will be seeing the nightmares of last season with your eyes, this is because Mac-allister does not press with enough energy nor does he has the recovery pace and Dominik might offer pace and assist in defending but he would play the most advanced and would not be easy covering our end of the midfield. Also we need a pacy , physical and pressing DM to assist when Trent goes on his adventures forward.

The best time we had a squad it was so good only Trent had no backup (Gomez covered well then sef) , shaquiri as impactful was a bencher, Klopp needs to have his SQUAD at least almost complete again to sort this team and take us back to when we were matching man city, if all these holes are still glaring at the end of transfer window, it would do our course nothing even especially now that we are outside top 4 with Newcastle, Chelsea and probably Spurs and Villa to battle this is without mentioning the others in the current top4. If we have to find a way to trade thiago and Matip ( who I very much adore) to get a DM and CB, so be it. But we need those 2 positions filled going into the season

Sometimes I read somethings online and I can only but laugh, someone posted that the south east has sound minds and is ready for manufacturing and what do you see, posters corroborating and praising the post, if it was the north or south west that was mentioned, hell would be let loose.

Can I ask, the south west don't have sound minds and is not ready for industrialization? What about the north, the middle belt, the south south/Niger Delta ?also why is it that majority of posters here base their post around regional supremacy, regional domination ?, How many industries did Jonathan build in the Niger Delta as president ? How many factories did Buhari build in the north west or even Katsina as president ? Why must the president only focus on one region? And why a particular region ? , We have many attractive sites all over Nigeria for industrialization, and also we have so many potential game changing projects scattered all over the country that are moribund, shouldn't the plan be looking at the most priority that would transform our country immediately and also create jobs, should'nt there be more private players allowed to come in ? Why should one region be the focus

What is this halfwit saying? Show me where any administration borrowed $7bn on subsidy. You halfwit fail to realise subsidy was actually called "under-recovery" in NNPC books in Buhari's time. Or where did you think 2.8trn Kyari is talking about comes from. BTW halfwit, what is the budget benchmark and what is the market price of crude presently? Where's the excess going?

And i hope you realise the present budget actually makes provision for subsidy till June ending to begin with.
You're also saying that civil servants should forget about their salaries for now since this govt won't go borrowing. Can you show me the plan for industrialisation and infrastructure we have on ground?
The fact is Tinubu is a clueless as Buhari if not worse. That mere pronouncement has destabilised the system such that long queues are beginning to show up and inflation is going crazy.
What sort of person comes into office and the first thing is to cause discomfort in the system. That's very poor management. The first thing should be stability and efficency. With this, he has taken a battle path he may never recover from.

When empty brains open their gutter mouth to say rubbish things they know nothing about, you know insanity is in place already, the government doesn't pay subsidy , who pays back the under recovery that Nnpc is bearing interms of subsidizing on behalf of the government ? Did you listen to mele kyari today , even the budgeted amount for the six months has not been account for , when he said the government was owing them over 2 trillion in backlog if payments for subsidy, how can you owe I'd you don't pay for something , the government has been paying back whatever Nnpc was subsidizing , and could not even afford to pay again, the govt has not even account for this last - month's payment to Nnpc, all of you socialist waiting for the government to go borrow loan to subsidize your lifestyle and salaries, that era is over , insult and curse Tinubu as much as you want , don't go and find work to do

You guys are actually the ones saying rubbish and nonsense with pride, and you guys believe you're doing so with wisdom not knowing you're mostly empty , now you don't mind a new government borrowing over 7 billion dollars loan to pay subsidy , but you all flooded the media space with insults on the outrageous debts Buhari incurred through borrowing , this same arise news and all your cohorts called out the largest borrowing ever, yet you want this new government to start in the same note, will this government borrow? Yes they will, but the current reality of our debts and debt servicing would not allow any borrowing for salary , subsidy or palliatives now, if we are not borrowing for industrialization and infrastructure then it's too early , this is a long road journey yes I agree but we have diverted from it for so long using alternatives and we have seen it is still taking us back to the same long road, it's time to enter that road now once and for all.
Politics / Re: How President Ruto Removed Fuel Subsidy by Kayyy: 11:50am On Jun 01, 2023
How did he go about it, taking from here and adding there ? Is that the economic excellent you want to praise in this video ?, President Ruto said he increases VAT by 100%, ie he doubled VAT, then took about 4-5% of petroleum prices , is that the excellence you want to praise here, did he say he increased minimum wage ? So one removed subsidy in its entirety, and doesn't need to revisit it again (infact he didn't remove it , it was removed already from the budget he met), the other removed some 5-8% in fuel prices , doubled VAT, and removed the discrepancies in forex trade , what is the point you are trying to bring out, just this morning a fake news that the CBN was increasing the dollar value so to try and remove the black market rate , many of you were still criticising it, but here you have a president that did same and closed the window btw official rate and black market rate and you bring that here to promote it, this leaves me with this question , what exactly do you want ? That Tinubu should leave already because you don't like him , You Bigots
Politics / Re: Nigeria Need To Slow Down Infrastructural Investment To Grow Our Economy by Kayyy: 3:45pm On May 18, 2023
This is a very educative thread where we all can learn and I would appeal to all to reduce the insults , back to the topic, while I understand you , I do not totally believe investing in human capacity through loans would better suit us long term against infrastructure, we can do both with percentage of priority, the loan system and trusting economic growth into the hands of corrupt capitalist can be severe for us as well, I will give examples

When Dangote was given license for refinery, loads were given licenses too, infact many of those given license were incorporated into the subsidy scheme to enable them raise profits and capital towards their huge venture during Jonathan, that was the begining of major corruption with the subsidy as they just abandoned the idea of refinery and instead focused of given ridiculous numbers for the fuel they imported and were taking billions in subsidy payments. Another is the anchor borrowers scheme for rice farmers, the plan was for them too build rice mills within a time frame after being given license to import rice, none of them that collected govt loans and license to import rice built any mill while some just started and left it at that. How many were built ? When the banks pursued Ben -Murray Bruce over its billions of loan he owed to setup all his cinemas, did he scream witch-hunt and cry that it was cause he was opposition, didn't he brag that he had created thousands of jobs and all would be lost if amcon took over his business ?, didn't the same people criticized the govt of wanting to make thousands loose their jobs ? Same with licensing for sugar , cement etc. Pausing infrastructural developments to fund loans to different investors in the belief that they would create jobs thereby increasing human capacity and lessen unemployment would not really achieve 25% of its aim but rather build overnight billionaires.
