While you're very right and all you stated is true he is is right as well, all what you wrote there truly are the reasons almost everyone in the house has issues with seyi , and while I might not agree that frodd is a tribalist if you've been watching this show as you truly claim frodd was the first and only housemate to mention seyi's grandfather and lineage amonsgt the housemate. And also do not forget seyi never introduced himself as seyi awolowo on entering the house, maybe you should question why ebuka did not ask others for their surname on stage and asked only seyi what is interesting about his surname, I guess this was the Genesis of this issue. If ebuka did not make him reference awolowo I guess only viewers wppuld be aware of his surname, but I agree seyi is partly the reason for all his beefs with other housemates.

But you cannot defend the tribalistic tendencies of viewers and the posters on this thread , like literally from the first page of this thread you can read up and see the origin on tribalistic attack on here , everything seyi has done on this show so far has always been associated to his grandad and lineage on here , he is either called a coward, drank rat poison like his dad, tried to commit suicide like his dad, a betrayer, a chip off an old block , so to pretend majority of posters do not watch and post about seyi based on hatred and tribal lenses is simply living in denial. infact I can bet that seyi has no fan who is igbo on this thread and we would all know the reason why, so do not shut down his words while you're right he is right as well.

The day Seyi regurgitated those cringe worthy words to Esther, I didn't see you criticizing him on this thread with the strongest of words. All I've you seen do is act aloof about his bad character and defend all he does simply because he's your tribesman.


So, it was envy/hatred about Awolowo from Thelma that made Seyi say those words to her?


Mercy was also envious of Awolowo and had hatred in her heart which led to their beef?

It was hatred and envy for Awolowo made Seyi hide drinks in the house which led to the beef with Ike and Frodd?

Mike, a Yoruba, was hating on Awolowo too when he clashed with Seyi?

Seyi's cockiness when countered is because of hatred for Awolowo? Two men are quarreling, and Seyi is feeling too big telling him if he knows about his reputation, then his opponent should shut up and bow down to him simply because of who he is. When the man points it out and refuses to cower, you say it is envy and hatred.


None of them in that house has achieved more than Mike, not even Seyi, but I've never seen Mike try to rub it in their faces and expects the HMs not to stand up to him. But Seyi who has not done anything special, should be worshipped so that they won't be seen as haters and envious people. How you've managed to spin criticisms of Seyi as inferiority complex is very comical.


One poster was even alluding that any Yoruba poster that criticizes Seyi is akin to a bastard as Igbo posters would not do the same if the son of Ojukwu was on the show. See the kind of mentality one is proud to litter here with and we wonder why nepotism is rife in this country.

The kind of things one reads on here both from the Igbo and Yoruba tribal bigots are disgusting and reinforces my conclusions about the state and citizens of this country.

Seyi's introduction to us is incomplete without "Grandson of Awolowo...." In fact, if he wss just another random Awolowo, unconnected to Obafemi, it wouldn't even matter, but since someone in the family decided that BBN was a ticket to more fame, then, it is a given, that he will be dragged into discussions one way or the other.

If you think abuse is the reason for this mess, you're clearly in denial or deluded.

The alleged abuse is a symptom of the a much deeper malaise in the marriage - the wife had clearly recognised her husband's capability for greed and cruelty.

If you're able to analyse properly, you can see that at every stage, this woman took steps to protect her investment because she knows who she married.

They made money together, but hubby decides he wants to use joint profits to fly his dad out of the country for medical treatment, as well as build a house for his parents. The woman realises that this man is ready to take full control of, and squander their joint funds, so she demands a split.

A sensible man with kids would know that his first priority is to his kids and would have first focused on putting a roof over his children's head. Instead he left his kids under rain and went to build a house for his parents. No surprise he walked away from those kids in the end.

Next, the woman builds the house in her name, again because she knows who she married. If you genuinely think that it's a mere coincidence that the man tried to order her out of the house, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Think about it, the man is claiming to be annoyed that the deeds weren't in both their names, yet he stold her to get out of a house, where as far as he knew at the time, she was listed as a co-owner anyway.

This is a guy who wasn't concerned about her rights in the first place, and the woman clearly recognised these tendencies and took steps to protect her neck.

Steps that have been justified in the end.

I believe there's a lot that hasn't been said yet, but if you think that her insulting his parents is what triggered this wahala, then mehn...you're inexperienced in life.
