He argued that it was the proceeds from the North that was used in developing the country before the advent of oil.
He also stated that Nigeria is divisible if the various political zones fail to work collectively as one, stressing that the north is not scared of separating from the rest of the country.
LIAR, which country was it used to develop? You can deceive illiterate Zombies and Almajiris but not everyone. And what was the money from coal, rubber and palm oil that was produced in East used for?

One can't paint a whole people with the same brush. Yet its not far from the TRUTH that Nigerians are a people who are always looking for SHORT CUTS.

Why do you think your country depends so much on CRUDE OIL?

Answer:

Quick money!!!

Question:

Isn't the colour of your National Flag, GREEN and WHITE, Green for Agriculture..................White for Peace?

WHERE IS THE AGRICULTURE IN THE LAND, NIGERIA. SO, BLESSED WITH SOIL FERTILITY, ABUNDANCE OF RAINFALL.......................... MULTITUDE OF ABLE MEN AND WOMEN THAT CAN PLOUGH THE LANDS WHILE EXHIBITING THE GREEN COLOUR THEY PROFESS WITH ALL DIGNITY.

Answer:

WITH ALL THE CRUDE OIL, WHY ARE YOU MULTITUDE MEN AND WOMEN LIVING FAR BELOW THE POVERTY MARK IN YOUR COUNTRY WITH UNIMAGINABLE STARVATION IN SUCH A COUNTRY OF GREAT SOIL FERTILITY.

Are you too PROUD to till the soil? All waiting for EASY MONEY?

Thus TALENT is a species of VIGOR". Eric Hoffer.

Talking about the TALENTED.

Let me make a point of correction before you get things mixed up.
The military qualification of PMB is equal to a masters degree.
The issue of his SSCE arose because PMB wants to remain humble and by the way it is the minimum requirement by the Nigerian constitution so he presented his SSCE instead of his other military qualification.
The PDP capitalised on this saying he did obtain an SSCE even his constituency denied him. We all know he has an SSCE as Cambridge and his secondary school has vindicated him
. You are both a liar and a deceiver but you can only deceive yourself and your likes. The constitution did not say 'equivalent of master's degree' but simple SSCE. If you say he has cambridge version of it, why has he hired 13 SANS to fight legal battle instead of doing the simple thing. #buharishowyourcertificate

PoliticsRe: Anti-ijaw Sentiments Will Escalate Crisis, Iyc Warns. by keally: 10:56am On Jun 20, 2016
Dimienedonkz:
ANTI-IJAW SENTIMENTS WILL ESCALATE
CRISIS, IYC WARNS.
June 19 2016
The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide
have in a Press Statement signed and released
today by the Spokesman of the Council, Barr. Eric
Omare warned that anti-Ijaw sentiments in the
ongoing crisis of the Niger Delta region will only
escalate the crisis rather than being a solution.
The statement observed that a new dangerous
dimension of conspiracy orchestrated by some high
ranking politicians with ethnic colourations have
been added to the quest for a better Niger Delta as
the said politicians are bent on frustrating the
current move by the Government to reposition the
Niger Delta with a bid of returning peace to the
region.
Omare argued that the agitation for the violated
and deprived Niger Delta region has being mostly
championed by Ijaws while other ethnic groups and
Nigerians continue to label the Ijaws as criminals
with all sorts of incriminating names but wonders
on how they later came out to cry foul, alleging that
they have been sidelined by Ijaws. He pointed out
clearly that the visit to the Maritime University in
Gbaramatu Kingdom by the Minister for State
Petroleum Resources Dr. Ibe Kachikwu in order to
put things in a proper perspective seems to be
creating discomfort to others who do not wish the
region well.
However, the SPOKESMAN through the press
statement calls on President Muhammadu Buhari to
call those APC chieftains and ethnic chauvinists to
order as their sentimental comments can only
constitute a clog on the wheel of progress in the
ongoing process.
The statement reads in part:
"A new dimension of conspiracy has been noticed
lately, particularly in the wake of the renewed
violence in the Niger Delta region. It has been
observed that some politicians whose desire has
always been to reap from the ongoing breach of oil
facilities are bent on introducing a dangerous ethnic
dimension to this situation. These class of
politicians have unpretentiously displayed anti-Ijaw
sentiments and conspiracy to the extent that the
fragile path to an acceptable roadmap enunciated
by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe
Kachikwu appears threatened. This is dangerous for
inter-ethnic peace and harmony."
"The ongoing process whereby some officials of the
federal government have painstakingly taken bold
steps, like that by Kachikwu, through a major
landmark visit, has become another source of
discomfort for ethnic chauvinists and crisis
entrepreneurs who see the minister's visit to
Gbaramatu as a misnomer. This is unacceptable."
"We recall that in the days of the pre-amnesty
arrangement, Ijaw youths were called criminals
even as other ethnic groups distanced themselves
from the programme on the ground that they had
no need to embrace any amnesty offer. Same
characters later cried foul that the programme was
cornered by the Ijaws. Same way, at the inception
of the renewed violence orchestrated by the
Avengers, leaders of other ethnic nationalities
pointed accusing fingers at our youths, the Ijaws, as
masterminds. We ask, at what point does
discussing with Ijaw people become an issue? Does
it mean that while the Ijaws can be branded as
criminals for whatever reason, they deserve not to
be heard by government?".
"This ugly development, particularly orchestrated
by some high ranking officers of the federal
government and party chieftains can only impede
progress and those belonging to this category
should be called to order by President Buhari. The
Ijaw ethnic nationality has always condemned
violence as a response to the deliberate under
development of her communities. This is in spite of
the fact that the Ijaws bear the brunt of this
unbridled suffocation, deprivation and brazen
exploitation. We bear the pain more, take the
gauntlet and lead the vanguard against oppression
and in the process lose more to reactionary forces
whose desire has always been to quell the voice of
reason"
"The Ijaw fight for justice, equity, fairness and
development has always been for the deprived
people of the region and not just the Ijaw ethnic
nationality even though we have lost more in terms
of human and material resources in the process.
This is because as people of the Niger Delta, we
have shared challenges and a collective destiny.
We therefore call on other ethnic nationalities in the
Niger Delta not to allow themselves to be used by
politicians to cause ethnic division in the region."

PoliticsRe: Senate Warns President Buhari To Stop Committing Impeachable Offences by keally: 9:51am On Jun 20, 2016
alfredfrddy:
…warns of grave danger if Saraki, Ekweremadu
are not left alone to do their jobs.
….says, Buhari becoming a dictato r.
ROTIMI AKINWUMI
ABUJA.
President Muhammadu Buhari has remained in
office in the last one year because the Senate
does not feel like rocking the boat of the
nation’s democracy through commencement
of impeachment proceedings against him.
Rather, the Senate has overlooked his
numerous infractions and moved on, behaving
with maturity in saving the nation’s democracy
from collapsing.
In making the clarifications, the upper
legislative chamber however warned the
executive arm of government not to push the
patience of the legislature to the break limit,
but rather, face all the numerous economic
challenges bedeviling the nation and find
solutions to them.
The Senate also alerted the nation and the
international community to what it considered
as the manifestation of dictatorial tendencies
in the current administration which it noted
will spell doom for the nation’s democracy.
The Senate gave the warning in a statement
issued by its spokesman, Senator Aliyu Sabi
Abdullahi in reaction to news of the desire of
the executive to prosecute the Senate
President, Bukola Saraki, his Deputy Ike
Ekweremadu and two other national Assembly
bureaucrats for allegedly forging the Senate
rule prior to the inauguration of the parliament
last year.
Aside the Senate President and his Deputy,
the duo of immediate past Clerk to the
National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa
and the Clerk of the Senate, Mr. Ben Efeturi
were invited by the police high authority last
week as part of investigation into the alleged
crime.
However, the Senate in a strong worded
statement issued on Sunday said the ongoing
investigation into the matter is a pure violation
of the power and rights of the legislature and
the erosion of its independence in a
government that works on the hinges of
checks and balances.
According to the Senate, the ongoing
investigation is a disservice to the tenets of
democracy, saying further that “reviewing the
circumstances leading to the filing of these
charges, we are compelled to alert the good
people of Nigeria and the international
community, that our democracy is in danger
and that the attempt by the Executive Arm of
the Federal Government to muzzle the
legislature and criminalise legislative
processes in order to cause leadership change
in the National Assembly is a return to the era
of impunity and lack of respect for due
process which we all fought to abolish”.
To avoid the looming crisis, the Senate “urges
President Muhammadu Buhari to please call
his Attorney General and Minister of Justice,
Mr. Abubakar Malami, to order”.
The upper legislative chamber stated
emphatically that it was aware that the latest
attempt to drag its presiding officers into
another round of court case is an attempt at
forcing a leadership change in the parliament.
The senate however, noted that such plan
would remain a pipe dream.
The parliament insisted that the moves by the
Presidency at ridiculing the leadership of the
Senate is an affront on the integrity of the
Red Chamber that has been playing the
maturity game in the last one year to sustain
the nation’s democracy in view of the
mistakes of the executive which it had
consistently overlooked.
“The Senate of the Federal Republic voted
freely to elect its leadership into office and
continuing attempts to change that leadership
through the wanton abuse of judicial
processes cannot stand in the eyes of the
world.
“It is clear that the Attorney General and party
leaders behind this action either lack the
understanding of the underlining principles of
constitutional democracy, the concept of
Separation of Powers, checks and balances
and parliamentary convention or they just
simply do not care if the present democracy in
the country survives or collapses in their
blinded determination to get Saraki and
Ekweremadu by all means necessary,
including abuse of office and sacking the
Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria.
“The Nigerian people have enough economic
hardship at this time requiring the full
attention and cooperation of the three arms of
government, instead of these attempts to
distract and politicise governance.
“We are in a state of economic emergency
such that what the National Assembly needs
at this time are executive bills and proposals
aimed at resolving the crises of
unemployment, currency depreciation,
inflation, crime and insecurity.
“What the National Assembly needs now are
executive bills to build and strengthen
institutions to earn revenues, fight corruption
and eliminate waste.
“Instead, we are getting hostile actions aimed
at destabilising the National Assembly,
distracting Senators from their oversight
functions and ensuring good and accountable
governance.
“We must make it clear here to the individuals
in the executive arm and party leadership
behind these plots not to mistake the maturity
and hand of co-operation being extended to
the Presidency by the legislature as a sign of
weakness.
“The National Assembly bent backwards to
accommodate various infractions and
inefficiencies in pursuit of inter-arms co-
operation and national interest.
“We did not follow up the various infractions
because we believe there are bigger issues
which the government has to attend to in
order to ensure that every Nigerian has food
on his table and lives comfortably in a secure
environment. We know that the country is
actually in a state of economic emergency and
all hands must be on deck.
“This latest plot is directed at forcing a
change of leadership in the Senate or, in the
extreme case, ground the Red Chamber of the
National Assembly. Or how does one interpret
a move in which the two presiding officers are
being set up to be remanded in Kuje Prison or
incapacitated from sitting at plenary through a
day-to-day trial on a matter that is purely an
internal affair of the Senate.
“This obviously is a dangerous case of
violation of the independence of the
legislature, undue and unnecessary
interference in the internal affairs of the
Senate and blatant abuse of the judicial
process,” the statement said.
The parliament noted that the issues being
raised by the executive had appeared on the
floor of the Senate and it had been trashed
out.
The recent attempt to reopen it, it was said, is
unthinkable, as it has the tendencies to show
that the parliament has lost its independence.
“The matter now being criminalised was
brought to the plenary of the Senate in
session, over a year ago. And because it had
no support, it was overruled and roundly
defeated in chambers.
“To now take a matter that was resolved on
the floor of the Senate to the police and then
make it form the subject of a criminal
prosecution of freely elected legislators beats
all imagination of free thinking men all over
the world.
“The implication is that any matter that fails
on the floor of the National Assembly will now
be taken to the Police, thereby endangering
every Senator and House member.
“This current move clearly runs contrary to the
Doctrine of Separation of Powers and Checks
and Balances which are fundamental to the
successful operation of the Presidential
System of government. It runs counter to the
principle outlined by the Supreme Court in the
Adesanya Vs Senate case where it was held
that nobody should seek to use the courts to
achieve what he or she has failed to push
through on the floor of the National Assembly.
“This present efforts, therefore, is clearly a
coup against the legislature with the ignoble
aim to undermine its independence and
subject the law making institution to the
whims and caprices of the executive. It is a
plan to return Nigeria to the dictatorial era
that we have, as a nation, voted to reject. It is
a dangerous trend with grave implications for
the survival of our democracy and the
integrity of the component institutions.
“This rule of men as against the rule of law is
also the reason why the War Against
Corruption, one of the cardinal objectives of
the present administration, is losing credibility
because people perceive it to be selective
and, in most cases, aimed at settling political
or partisan scores.
“The Rules of the Senate and how the
institution elects its leadership are internal
affairs. The National Assembly bureaucracy
provides the Rules of a new Senate. It has
always been so since 1999. After the
inauguration of the Senate, if Senators have
objections to any part of the Rules, they can
follow the procedure for changing it. Senators
of the Eighth Senate have no control on the
rules applied in the elections of June 9, 2015
because until after their inauguration, they
were only Senators-elect, and therefore mere
bystanders in the affairs of the Senate.
“We therefore urge all Nigerians and the
international community to rise up and
condemn this blatant attempt to subject the
legislature to the control, whims and caprices
of the executive.
“If the legislative branch falls, democracy fails
as there will be no other institution
empowered by the Constitution to check and
balance the enormous powers of the
Executive branch.
“We also call on the judiciary as the last hope
to save our constitutional democracy and
stand up for the rule of law, by doing that
which is right in this case,” the statement
added.
Do your work. Don't be afraid. If impeaching the illiterate dullard will bring progress to Nigeria, please go and do it, don't play politics with it because of posterity.

By Innocent Anaba

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, has adjourned till July 8, 2016, to hear the suit against the alleged killings by soldiers and other security agencies of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, members during May 30, Biafran Remembrance Day in Anambra and Delta States.

At the hearing in the suit by Lagos lawyer and human rights activist, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, weekend, he informed the court that the respondents declined service of the court processes on the ground that the hearing date was too close.

He prayed the court for a short adjournment to enable the bailiff serve the respondents.

The respondents in the suit are the President, Maj-Gen Muhammadu Buhari, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Attorney-General of the Federation, Inspector-General of Police, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Navy Staff and Chief of Air Staff.

Adegboruwa was arguing in the suit that all Nigerians are granted the right of free assembly and association, under section 40 and also the freedom of expression, under section 39 of of the 1999 Constitution.

He is contending that members of the IPOB, are entitled to assemble together in any part of the country, for the purpose of demanding for self determination, without any permit or licence. And when they so decide to gather, the police, the army, or indeed other security agencies are not entitled to invade their gathering, or to shoot them or to arrest and detain them, as was done in most parts of the South East, on May 30, 2016.

He therefore, wants the court to affirm the rights of citizens to express themselves in any areas without let or hindrance from the security agencies.

My questions to IPOB charlatans is this: Niger Delta Avengers also demand release of Dasuki who is from Sokoto. Is Niger Delta now also part of Hausa -Fulani Sokoto Islamist Caliphate?

IPOB is pathetic. because South East is not relevant to Nigeria economy, IPOB is helpless. They know even if they destroy the whole South East including Niger Bridge, Nigerians wont even noticed it. Hence they are acting like losers.

As far as i am concern, IPOB is more of a parasite than Hausa Fulani. Atleast North provide food and Meat. Apart from wasting and depleting Nigeria dollar reserve to import and sell at wide profit margin, what is d use of IPOB to Nigeria? Anybody can import. Anybody cannot provide food and meat without land.Even d importation business, Dangote an Hausa Fulani is d don.

Nigeria want IPOB (5 south east state only) to leave Nigeria. They are d biggest parasite. Nigeria is better off without them.

I am a true full blooded Niger Deltan. If u like call me Yoruba. Even self u can call me Hausa-Fulani. i dont give a Fucck. In IPOB voice Chief Emani Ayiri of Itsekiri, Rotimi Amaechi of Ikwerre land is Hausa-Fulani because they dont support Biafra. U can include me in that ur deluded list.

This my post is a response to this press release by IPOB below:

Somebody called a parasite by an illiterate like you has been fighting to leave the Zoo and the people that know they cannot survive without him declared that it's better for all of them to drown in the sea than to allow him to break away, that is to show you who the parasite is. I called you an illiterate because you don't know that Anambra State has the largest amount of Natural gas deposit in the whole country. You don't also know that all the 5 States in SE has Oil and gas deposits, including coal. By the way, are you aware that Igbos are included in the amnesty programme? Of course your mind will not tell you that Imo and Abia are NDDC states and they are all together in militancy. Meanwhile, sincere Ndeltans have since realized their folly and mistakes of the past and are ready to make ammends. They have discovered who their real enemies are and who actually is the Parasite are ready to fight it headlong. We know psychophants are fulani when we see them. They prefer to remain slaves forever than to fight for their right and will oppose anyone fighting for them as a result ABM acute brain mentality. Check these irrefutable facts to confirm that Igbos don't even need crude oil to build their economy. 1. The only zone without any Federal presence yet has a state that does not owe salary, Anambra. 2. The only zone producing vehicles locally, Innoson. 3. The only zone exporting food items to UK and Europe on official level, Anambra. 4. The only zone that has dominated WAEC results for more than 5years now with 3 of their states coming out tops at different times, Anambra, Abia and Imo. 5. The zone that hosts the biggest market in West Africa, Onitsha main market. 6. The zone that controls transportation business in Nigeria. 7. The zone that manufactures aircraft parts for Nigerian airforce, Innoson. And finally the ONLY COUNTRY in black Africa that can RIVAL Europe and the Western world in technology in less than 5years after actualization. The new market driven forex rate to the dollar, is expected to hover in between the current official rate and the black market rate, some where between 200 and 300.

Heed to my advice and thank me later!

Obviously its either you're a kid or hatred has eaten deep into you. Fela sang about 2.8 billion naira 'PTF' money ? Like seriously ?

Prior to the 2015 general elections there were lots of hate campaigns against Buhari most of which only made him more popular.

Muhammadu Buhari has a madate of 4 years to lead this country, if after his tenure we found him wanting, he should be brought to book...God Bless Nigeria
God bless our leaders
God bless PMB...Eyan Mayweather !
. You did not make sense, anyway if you have sense you would have addressed the burning issues that borders on the morality of the President. Instead of providing his certificate which is easier, he is lining up SANS to defend him. He is paying them with our money, instead of SIMPLY bringing his certificate to shame traduccers and prove cynics wrong. You have not yet seen anything wrong with that. Continue wallowing in your self-delusion.
