Christianity EtcRe: Who Are The 144,000 In The Bible ? by Kei144(m): 2:57pm On Dec 01, 2013
holypower: These are the people who were chosen and saved at last but it is after the rapture of the saints... They finally know that JESUS CHRIST is the LORD(because they are jews). They evangelized and exposed the anti-CHRIST's who are present and many believed their messgae and are ready to die for JESUS CHRIST.....
144,000 is the total number of jews who believed finally that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and they are each 12,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel. They will be saved at last but before that the rapture of the saints has taken place before the case of this 144;000 and in that Rev 6 is now talking about the pouring of GOD's wrath upon the earth which will happen after the rapture of the earth.
What you have posted is crap that pre-tribulation rapture proponents taught for decades. But end time is now more clearly understood and it is now known that pre-trib rapture is a farce. Pre-trib rapture proponents taught that gentile Christian faithfuls will be raptured up to heaven before the end-time tribulation begins; thereafter, God will focus all His love on Jews who hitherto refused to believe in Jesus Christ. That is how the teaching that God will graciously open the eyes of only 144,000 of the unbelieving Jews so that they believe and be saved came about. I don't know why human beings like to invent doctrines that are not clearly described in the Bible, which the churches accept as "word of God". Word of which God?

One principle that is clearly stated in the Bible is: First for the Jew, then the gentile (Rom 1:16). There is no blessing of God that will first go to gentiles before going to Jews. In fact, whatever blessing God has for mankind is for Jews; gentiles share in the blessing by joining the Jews. It is unfortunate that gentile Christians do not even realize that without the Jews, they can never qualify for the rapture. Eph 5:27 specifies the qualification for rapture; how many gentile Christians meet the qualification today?

Ez. 36:22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.
Ez. 36:25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
Ez. 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Ez. 36:27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Ro. 11:11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.
Ro. 11:12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
Ro. 11:15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
Ro. 11:16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

In Romans 11, Apostle Paul states that (ancient) Israel is the firstfruit and that the Church cannot reach holiness if the firstfruits are not holy. When God fulfills the promise of Ezekiel 36 quoted above, the Jews will help the Church to rise from the dead; holiness will come to the churches.

The 144,000 are end-time apostles of Christ. During the time of Jesus' earthly ministry, He had 12 Jewish apostles to cover the small nation of Israel at that time. Jesus will raise up 144,000 Jewish apostles just before the end time begins to preach the gospel of the kingdom (Mt 24:14) to every part of the world. They will preach the gospel even in Mecca. Because of the seal of God upon them, no one will be able to touch them.

Mt. 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Mt. 24:15 “So when you see standing in the holy place `the abomination that causes desolation’, [Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11] spoken of through the prophet Daniel — let the reader understand —

Re. 7:9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

Re. 12:5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron sceptre. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

The end-time ministry of the 144,000 end-time apostles will last for 3½ years—the first half of the 7 years of tribulation. Mt 24:15 marks the beginning of the last 3½ years; the Antichrist removes his mask, because he that restrains has been removed (2 Thes 2:6). In Rev 7, just after the description of the 144,000 Israelites, verse 9 shows the crowd of people that make the rapture. They are a result of the ministry of the 144,000. In Rev 12, the 144,000 Israelites form the woman that gives birth to the man child that is snatched up to heaven (rapture). Who are the man child? See them in Rev 7:9. Without the 144,000 Israelites, the Church can never experience the rapture.

The reason why the pre-trib teachers conjured up the false doctrine is because they think that the Israelis of today and all former European Jews are the only Jews in the world. They do not know that God hid the best Jews in Africa. These Jews believe solidly in Jesus Christ. They are the ones that will preach the end-time gospel of the kingdom. That is why the most prominent prophets in the world point at Nigeria, as where the great end-time revival will commence. The 144,000 Israelites will be sealed in April 2014. They give birth to the man child on 23 September, 2017.

Yes, one can live without sin. Freedom from sin is actually very easy. All it takes is a clear understanding of what the grace of God is all about.

One thing people will definitely learn from this thread is that the Bile is primarily a spiritual book. Even though a lot of the content of the Bible is of historical significance, the most important aspect of the Bible is its reference to the spirit realm. The big problem people have with making the best out of the Bible is that they view Bible from earthly point of view. Christians are supposed to operate in the spiritual point of view. That is what separates Christianity from other religions.

The Experiment

2Pe. 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2Pe. 1:4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

2 Pe 1:4 says that we can release divine power into areas of need through the promises of God. In my last post I quoted 1 Pet 2:24 and Rom 8:1-2, both of which show that anyone who is in Christ has been set free from sin and death (sicknesses). The freedom is experienced if we live by the Spirit. What does it mean to live by the Spirit? It simply means to apply the power of the Spirit of God to situations in and around you, with a view to conform those situations to the promises of God. That is why living by the Spirit begins with speaking out the promises of God and relating them to the situation at hand. This is then followed by a decree that seeks to apply divine power to the situation through the Spirit.

Pray like this: “Through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life set us free from the law of sin and death (Ro 8:2). Therefore, sin has no power over me. I have died to sins and I live for righteousness (1 pet 2:24). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I put to death every misdeed of the flesh in me by the Spirit of God (Ro 8:13)” Everything in my body that causes sickness, disease or infirmity in my body, I destroy you and free my body from your afflictions by divine power, through the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ!”

You have a Goliath facing you. You run to your bishop for help; he puts on you his heavy weapons of warfare. But you have noticed that your bishop does not have the courage to fight this war, which means that he doesn't even believe that his weapons could kill Goliath. So, you abandon your bishop's armour. You decide to copy David's way of killing his Goliath. David took his staff in his hand--staff of authority. Do you have spiritual authority; are you abiding in Christ or are you compromised by sin? David chose five smooth stones from the stream. Do you know the way to the stream well enough? The stream is the word of God (the Bible). The five stones that David chose represent promises of God; you must choose the ones that relate to the Goliath that is facing you. David put the stones in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag; you must know these promises at heart. With his sling in his hand, David approached the Philistine. Do you have a sling that could throw a stone against the enemy? The stone is the word (promise) of God—the sword of the Spirit (Eph 6:17); so, the sling is the Spirit of God. Do you know how to sling the stone at Goliath and score a fatal hit? Some born-again Christians have the Spirit of Christ, but they cannot put the Spirit to use.

1Sa. 17:8 Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel, “Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not the servants of Saul? Choose a man and have him come down to me.
1Sa. 17:9 If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us.”
1Sa. 17:10 Then the Philistine said, “This day I defy the ranks of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other.”

1Sa. 17:16 For forty days the Philistine came forward every morning and evening and took his stand.

1Sa. 17:32 David said to Saul, “Let no-one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.”
1Sa. 17:33 Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a boy, and he has been a fighting man from his youth.”

1Sa. 17:38 Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armour on him and a bronze helmet on his head.
1Sa. 17:39 David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not used to them. “I cannot go in these,” he said to Saul, “because I am not used to them.” So he took them off.
1Sa. 17:40 Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.

1Sa. 17:48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly towards the battle line to meet him.
1Sa. 17:49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell face down on the ground.
1Sa. 17:50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

By His wounds we were healed

1Pe. 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

Ro. 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
Ro. 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death
.

I have heard people complain that the Bible says that Jesus saved us from sin and from death; why do people still commit sin? Why do people still get sick? Actually, the Bible specifies the requirements for the salvation that Jesus Christ brought to the world to apply to any one. The conditions are that the person must be in Christ and the person must live by the Spirit. Any person who satisfies the conditions that I presented in my last post is already in Christ. The experiment that I recommend to be carried out simply involves living by the Spirit to find out if healing of soul and body occurs in the process.
Christianity EtcRe: Experimental Christianity: By His Wounds We Were Healed by Kei144(op): 8:48am On Nov 30, 2013
Requirements

In natural science, every experiment must satisfy some necessary requirements. In the same way, in order to carry out spiritual experiments, some conditions must be satisfied. As for the Christian experiments that I will present in this thread, I want to specify the necessary conditions.

1Jn. 5:7 For there are three that testify:
1Jn. 5:8 the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

Any person who wants to perform the spiritual experiments in this thread must have the testimony of the Spirit, the water and the blood. This means that (1) the person must have a clear understanding of redemption by the blood of Jesus, (2) the person must have been properly initiated into the body of Christ by water baptism, and (3) the person must possess the Spirit of Christ.

He. 11:1 (NIV) Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Faith is the centre of Christianity. No-one can make any spiritual progress without a clear understanding of faith. Faith is “being sure” of what we hope for and “certain” of what we do not see. But what you hear in most churches actually go against the meaning of faith. They tell you not to question anything the clergy tells you. If you cannot investigate what the clergy tells you, how then could you be sure of what you hope for and how could you be certain of what you do not see? The Bible actually encourages spiritual investigation, just like scientific investigation.

One of the things I hear in religious circles is that science is in opposition to the Bible. That is a lie of the devil. The reason why science seems to be in opposition to the Bible is the unscientific mindset of most Bible believers. Science depends a lot on investigation; religious people are opposed to any attempt to verify religious beliefs. Incidentally, science helped me to hold strongly to “born-again” Christianity for many years now. When I was still new in the born-again setting, I had some reservations about the story of Noah’s flood. From what I learned in O’ level Geography about the mechanism of rainfall, I could not understand how rain could fall and flood water would cover all lands on earth. But God has a purpose for my life and fulfillment of that purpose required that I must be sure about what the Bible is talking about; so, God obviously gave me an opportunity to understand Noah’s flood from scientific point of view. I came across a book that told the story of the deluge in a scientific way. That greatly increased my belief in the Bible.

Mt. 6:30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Mt. 8:8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Mt. 8:9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, `Go,’ and he goes; and that one, `Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, `Do this,’ and he does it.”
Mt. 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, “I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

Mt. 8:25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
Mt. 8:26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Mt. 9:2 Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus talked about little faith and great faith. What makes a person to have little faith and another to have great faith? Of course, it depends on experience. Why did the Roman centurion have great faith? He somehow reasoned that there must be some unseen spirit beings that were with Jesus and that Jesus had authority over them. Whenever Jesus gave a command, these forces carried out the command. He arrived at that because he himself was a commander of soldiers. He was able to reason spiritually and he borrowed from his experience as an army commander.

This thread is about how to increase your faith. The best way is to experiment with some key points in Christianity.

EducationRe: ASUU Dismisses Fg’s Threat To Sack Lecturers by Kei144(m): 6:30pm On Nov 29, 2013
ASUU's recalcitrance is based on the belief that if ASUU could not be intimidated by FG in the past and so forever FG can never intimidate ASUU. This shows the inventive or strategising capacity of ASUU members. If ASUU is fighting a life-and-death war, this is the kind of strategy they will employ. Have they considered the difference between Abacha-to-Obasanjo days and today? How prevalent was the Internet during Abacha-to-Obasanjo days? Is ASUU aware that around July this year, Jigawa State University advertized for academic vacancies and got close to zero response from Nigerians? But the Jigawa State government quickly used the Internet to recruit more-than-enough Indian lecturers. Our ivory towers are occupied by a bunch of people who cannot strategize.

Imagine the President of Nigeria granting ASUU 13 hours of negotiation and then making reasonable offer to them. If ASUU were wise, they would have quickly convened their NEC before the end of that week and issued statement like: "To show our respect to the President, we hereby call off this strike, believing that our President is an honorable man." Respect is reciprocal. Instead what ASUU has done is to show the world that the President is not greater than them and so deserves no honor or respect. They delay for more than two weeks and then demand for another 13 hours with the President. I used to think that it is only Igbos that do not know how to respect "kings", but now it dawns on me that even a Bini man with centuries of monarchial culture is not different from Igbos; even Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis. I now strongly believe that a set of wrong people are occupying our ivory towers. The FG should use this opportunity to do something about it.

She was faithful till the very end. I would love to mention her pastor who very much alive and preaching same damnable stuff but I am sure it will be deleted in no time while these lies continue to harm others irreparably.

If Faith is the Answer then why is there no explanation to EXACTLY how it works even if there are uncountable claims to the contrary inside and outside the Bible.

You call it a principle.. and put forward a few verses to back it up... yet you cannot explain it and demonstrate it without fail.. i well and truly hate you
Sorry for what happened to your aunt. The problem with her pastor was incomplete knowledge. I myself have not always had complete knowledge in this matter. The reason why I could boldly post this kind of topic on Nairaland now is because my knowledge has become reliable. The adequacy of my knowledge at this time happens to be because I am one of the end time apostles (the 144000) and end time is about to begin. God is doing a new thing right now.

dorox: So what happens when the healing doesn't come? My friend, if you or someone close to you should fall ill don't leave it till late before taking proper action. Just know that the super heavy weight men of 'God that you look up to whose books inspires you on matters of faith dey also swallow tablets.
I don't know who you call super heavy weight. You obviously think that I am a feather weight Christian. Do you know anything about the 144000 Israelites? Do you know about the great end-time revival? I am connected with both the 144000 Israelites and the great end-time revival and this thread is also connected. Prophets from different continents of the world have been prophesying about a great move of God that will start in Nigeria and sweep across the world. What you read in this thread is what is going to cause the revival.

As for your question, what if healing doesn't come?, I have gone beyond that. God has given us the rules that guide the operation of His divine power and you are asking if God should be trusted. Just as we feel comfortable trusting our lives to science and technology, I have now developed spiritually to a level where I now trust God's word.

dorox: The man giving the lecture travels abroad for treatment, find me someone who would rather pray for his child when the child has common malaria.

If we live in the Spirit fully, malaria won't even arise in the first place. Every night I include this kind of statement in my prayer: "Every organism that has entered my body and the bodies of members of my family to cause sickness, disease or infirmity, I destroy and overthrow you from our bodies by the Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus Christ." That is immunity prayer. Even in the case where the sickness is already showing its symptoms, spiritual healing is faster and more convenient than medicinal healing.

bizmahn: thanks for this wonderful thread @Kei144 but my observation is that before you call an encounter "a principle that heals incurable diseases" it has to:
1.It has to pass the test of time. You would have tried it successfully several times over the years.
2.It has to work for others in circumstances different from yours.
3.You have to outline a number of testimonial accounts of the success of such principles in your life i.e not just one in isolation.
4.You have to outline testimonies showing it worked in other peoples different difficult circumstances or better still get them to post their own story.
.
I appreciate your effort to help people as is evident in this thread and do not mean to downplay you at all but rather if you incoporate these four points then it becomes a principle indeed.

I say this cos I've observed personally that there are prayer principles or even methods God used to heal or deliver people at one time that didn't seem to work at other times or in different circumstances.
.
For instance there are circumstances where the sin problem is actually solved but the problem at hand is that of a stubborn hard bondage or a strong demonic personality is present.
.
This situation hardly ever responds to anything else but a rare type of uncommon anointing or rare type of prolonged praying and fasting with sinless purity or even genuine anointed sinless holy ghost baptism with speaking in other tongues.
.
Sorry I need more grace to narrow my points to shorten my usually long posts. Thanks for this thread.
God bless you @bizmahn. The issues you have raised are quite right. Your post came before my last post; in my last post I presented some aspects of the principle. The principle in this thread is not really just about curing diseases; it is generally about operating in divine power. As I stated at the beginning of this thread, my body has served to me like a mobile spiritual lab. I have healed people in the past with different kinds of prayers. I have also overcome different witchcraft poisoning of my own body through different kinds of prayers. But one particular witchcraft poisoning of my body resisted every prayer for 12 years. But now I am winning the battle.

As you rightly pointed out, apart from sinless purity, the prayer pattern matters a lot. My last post dealt with effectiveness in the operation of divine power. So, even the Bible indicates that there are different levels of effectiveness. The anointing is really the same for everyone; what matters is the release of the anointing. My last post dealt with the issue of effectiveness in the release of the anointing very well. Effective release of the anointing (divine power) begins with God's promise(s). The person releasing the power must know that the power is possessed by the Spirit (arm of the LORD). The LORD is a righteous judge; so, when you come before Him with a case in hand, you must present that case very well just like a lawyer does in a law court. You need to look again at an example prayer that I gave above. You will notice that I present the promises of God and show how the case at hand contravenes that promise even though I abide in Christ (determined by my level of purity). On this basis, I decree that the problem be removed by the Spirit of God. It works.

Operating in Divine Power

2Pe. 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
2Pe. 1:6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
2Pe. 1:7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
2Pe. 1:8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe. 1:9 But if anyone does not have them, he is short-sighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

"His divine power" refers to the Spirit that God has given to His sons. 2 Pe 1:3 says that the Holy Spirit is able to give a son of God everything s/he needs for life and godliness. This means that the Holy Spirit is able to meet all our physical and spiritual needs. You must note that there is a difference between "need" and "want"; God has not promised to supply all our wants. 2 Pe 1:4 says that a son of God operates divine power through God's promises. Do you have a need (sanctioned by the word of God) that you want to meet through the Spirit, you must know Promise(s) of God that relate to the need. You must be sure that you satisfy any conditions attached to the promise. As already stated above, every promise of God is Yes in Christ. In order to make sure that a person abides in Christ, s/he must make sure that the qualities listed in 2 Pe 1:5-7 abound in her/his life. These qualities determine a person's effectiveness in the operation of divine power.

Jn. 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

2Ti. 2:20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble.
2Ti. 2:21 If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

tobechi74: Makes no sence
1Co. 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1Co. 1:19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” [Isaiah 29:14]
1Co. 1:20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
1Co. 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
1Co. 1:22 Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
1Co. 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling-block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
1Co. 1:24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1Co. 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.

dorox: How many 'bible thumping born again' will confidently put medicine aside and opt for faith healing when they fall sick? Even the so called pastor delivering that lying lecture goes abroad for treatment, their entire family have access to first class medical facilities abroad. They sell you their faith pill for a fat profit to send their wives abroad for treatment with real pill.
That is just another way of saying that very few Christians live by the Spirit. That is why end-time tribulations are very necessary in order for a sizable number of Christians to make the rapture. During the end-time tribulations the amount of crisis in the world will be such that medicine will be hard to come by. Many of the things we take for granted now will not be easily reachable. Then, people will take faith more seriously in order to stay alive.

Uyi Iredia: I have a better principle: medical science. Folks like you have been brought many-a-time by relatives and family friends praying for and prophesying healing for my stricken Dad to no avail. SMH ! And I still had to see him off to state hospital little better than a dispensary, and I'm quite serious about this.
Mk. 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Mk. 16:18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

2Co. 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
2Co. 1:21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
2Co. 1:22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

1Jn. 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

The promise of God clearly is that if a son of God lays his/her hand on a sick person and prays, the sick will get well. Some so-called sons of God prayed for your stricken father and he did not get any better; you wonder why supposed promise of God failed. Well, the Bible says that the promises of God are Yes only in Christ. The same Bible also says that any person who does what is sinful is of the devil and that the reason why Jesus came to the world was to destroy the devil's work. The sickness that your dad suffers is obviously something that the devil rought upon mankind--the devil's work. But God cannot intervene through a person who has a devil's issue--sin. If you look at my posts above, you notice that I began with dealing with sin. If sin is not dealt with, the presence of God will never be experienced.

Dealing with sicknesses

Ex. 15:26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

God says clearly that if you align your life with His commandments (through His spirit), then He will set you free from all the diseases of this world (through the Spirit). In chapter 14 of the book “The anointing”, Benny Hinn wrote something like, “This is what the Holy Spirit showed me that will happen to the people of God: ‘There is no child of God who will commit sin. There is no child of God who will be sick.’ ” You see, the two go hand in hand; freedom from sin leads to freedom from sicknesses. After all, was it not sin that brought sickness to mankind in the first place?

For example, as I stated in my first post, I have borne witchcraft-inflicted sickness in my body for years. To deal with the problem today while I pray, I say something like: “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. For through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life set us free from the law of sin and death. (Rom 8:1-2) By the wounds that Jesus suffered for us on the cross we were healed (1 Pet 2:24). My body is a temple of God and God will surely destroy anything that destroys His temple (1 Cor 3:16-17). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I destroy every organism causing destruction or sickness in my body by the Spirit of God. Spirit of infirmity that has been afflicting my body, I cast you out of my body by the Spirit of God.”
