I used CTL while in PH, I don't think it is in Lagos perse. Infact you still have other alternatives like Metro and CAN at far lesser rate. Here in Lagos i am meant to spend 14k too for DSTV. I don't know why these coys re not operating in Lagos.

N/B: Most of their channels re not in HD and re normally arabic stations though have won dedicated English channel. For example BEIN Sports have the exclusive rights to air EPL in the Middle East and North Africa while DSTV (SuperSports) is for other African countries. CTL and their friends (Metro digital and CAN) with the help of technology subscribe to Bein Sports, then sells it to consumers. On whether CTL is doing this illegal, they claim they re not showing it live cos is 2seconds late.

None of the previous ones were even built in Nigeria and the only reason this one is slated for Lagos is the so called local content law. I doubt very much that Lagos will be able to deliver because of manpower issues and other infrastructure challenges . But the investors think otherwise so goodluck to them.I do not see it possibly being constructed in Bayelsa that is just ridiculous. Maybe Port Harcourt or Aba but Bayelsa is just funny. I guess Lagos was chosen because much of the steel would have to be imported and perhaps Lagos can handle that kind of tonnage comfortably > I suppose maybe Onne can but I don't know why Lagos was chosen.

Point of correction, Yara Dua relocated it not GEJ after the SS Govs led by Amaechi and Sylvia insisted that it should relocated, then the late President signed the Train 7 of Bonny and Brass LNG. The HQ was to supposed to be built at a permanent site in Port Harcourt, but this has not been feasible due to the ethnic and political struggle in relation with the location (Greater Port Harcourt). Thus stalling the full relocation of the HQ, only that the Eastern Bye-pass location still serves as the HQ.

Both the Train7 and Brass LNG are yet to take off since Yara Dua died.

The situation in Rivers State should be of major concern. APC is actually contesting against PDP, Nigerian Police, Army and military wings on Saturday. The numbers of souls APC faithfuls have lost in this last few months is alarming.
