PoliticsRe: Stay Away From Rivers Schools, Amaechi Tells FG by kel4soft: 6:38pm On Sep 15, 2014
phantom: idioti.c federal govt being run by a drunk.
ibim seminitari replied them well.

what is the state of bonny -bodo road?
what is the state of FGC PH and FGGC abuloma?

bunch of retards....rushing to riversstate to build substandard classroom blocks that will collapse tomorrow.

i join amaechi and his government to reject this rubbish from jonathan and his rif raff of a minister. let them build those things in abuja or anywhere in the north.
we dont want them in rivers state.
they are not ashamed. proposing classroom blocks instead of thinking about reimbursing amaechi for the federal projects he built or helping to connect the riverine communities by roads and bridges.
My brother you talk true. I no dey around PH sadly. I would taken pictures of both Federal schools that looked like where they r pigs. Wike is a very wicked man. They should fixed theirs first before embarrassing themselves in public. They know they have nothing to show thats why they are running from one place to another. Remember their TAN rally in PH when Odili said if he starts listing GEJ strides in Rivers that they wont go. He ends up not naming one.
PoliticsRe: Stay Away From Rivers Schools, Amaechi Tells FG by kel4soft: 6:28pm On Sep 15, 2014
Have any of you ever been to both Federal secondary schools in Port Harcourt. Then, you will cry for the schools. The structures are so dilapidated that you ask if we even have a representative from Rivers talk less of a minister of education for State who overseas primary and post primary education. I think the Information Commissioner was economical with the truth. Dead classes no old structures that have been left to decay. Yet, this Wike man wants to play politics. A man that cannot renovate his own schools wants to build a model secondary school because of an election. Please PH residence take a stroll to Ikwerre Road, Rumuigbo and Abuluma and see decay for yourselves.

PoliticsRe: Illusion Or Reality: Gospel Of Economic Self- Sufficiency In Bayelsa by kel4soft: 2:37pm On Sep 14, 2014
dmoville: Hahaha, Bro. Things must change. Goodluck is the president of Nigeria and not Bayelsa just cos he's from there. Over here we are really suffering. The state is being governed through media propaganda. The world must know the true situation of things in Bayelsa.
NB: I'm a fan of GEJ but unfortunately I will not sit and watch my darling state being bastardized by some group of furuocrats and egberiocrats who are enforcing retrogression.
Things are not too bad in Bayelsa State. It could have been worse, you could have been Abia or Benue State. BTW, what is the progress on your flyover at NNPC?

Give Dickson time, Presido should use his good office in supporting Bayelsa State.

PoliticsRe: Illusion Or Reality: Gospel Of Economic Self- Sufficiency In Bayelsa by kel4soft:
dmoville: For more than two years now the economy of Bayelsa has been in perpetual penury. Civil servants and ordinary folks have been worse hit. Salaries of civil servants both at the state and local government level have been drastically reduced as a result of taxes imposed on workers by government. Let's not also forget that Bayelsa can be best termed a civil servants state where bulk of its workforce are civil servants and depend on government. Ordinary folks and unemployed Bayelsans are not left out because they are finding things really hard in the state. Sometime ago an SSA in the state wrote on social media lauding the fact that in bayelsa state those that were driving SUVs and other exotic cars can no longer maintain it and have resorted to packing it in their garage, he was also happy that Bayelsa is fast becoming a state of low income earners due to the economic hardship notwithstanding that Bayelsa is one of the highest receivers of federal allocation and richest as a result of its huge oil and gas deposite, but unfortunately this feat have not been reciprocated in the lives of its people.

Government have continuously blamed the current economic hardship and all its woes on dwindling federal allocation even though it has launched different economic policies which it said are all aimed at making the state self sufficient and less dependent on oil.

In respect to these policies Bayelsans have seen the setting up of different government owned business enterprises like Niger-Delta sea foods limited, re-organised Bayelsa oil palm limited, Bayelsa dredging and construction company, state owned fish ponds, Bayelsa plastic company, state owned rice farms and cassava farms etc
In the just concluded economic forum government revealed that it has made available billions of naira for SMEs operating in the state and those intending to start their own small scale businesses, but going to months now no tangible guideline have been given on how to access the funds and this has put into question government's sincerity in tackling the increasing menace of unemployment. Just of recent the CBN released the sum of N220b to fund SMEs in the 36 states.

So far the above points have triggered my consciousness to ask the following questions:

Now with all these business enterprises and monies allegedly provided by government to boast the economic fortunes of Bayelsa why is the state still sinking deep into an economic abyss and retrogressing economically?

Are our economic woes as a results of government's unseriousness to match their words with concrete actions, the business ventures are not properly set up or policies were not properly formulated?

Is it that government is sabotaging its own economic policies deliberately as a result of widespread corruption in government? (#furuocracy)
NB: This also brings to bear the reluctance of government to formally inaugurate the Bayelsa state anti-corruption commission.

Finally, when is Bayelsa state going to be self sufficient and less dependent on black gold (oil)?

#sufferation
Sufferation mocking the Restoration slogan. Hahahaha. U don leave SAYELBA Facebook page come here. Sadly, this is the wrong place to talk about decay in Bayelsa State because any such thread is seen as an anti-GEJ one

Why is it that non Akwa Ibomites are the ones creaming over the top regards to Uyo.

I don't give a toss about the city, but the OP is funny. Replacing Port Harcourt as one of Nigeria top 3 cities with Uyo is scary and useless.
PoliticsRe: Uyo Replaces Port Harcourt As Nigeria's 3rd Finest City by kel4soft: 1:31pm On Sep 14, 2014
MichaelAustin: apart from Abuja which is d nations capital, Uyo has d best road network in Nigeria. I mean good road network an world class roads, no be hype Landlord travell an see.
What is the area of this so called road networks. I mean area square.

I take Enugu over Uyo in terms of area square. I have been to both cities.
PoliticsRe: Uyo Replaces Port Harcourt As Nigeria's 3rd Finest City by kel4soft: 1:28pm On Sep 14, 2014
The OP needs brain surgery. So because you have few good roads in a city that is not as big as Obio/Akpor in PH with scanty buildings have made it replace Port Harcourt. Uyo need more 30years intense building of structures with PH staying still for your Uyo to come close to PH.

How can billie an ancient city that have stayed for close to a thousand years be Kalabari who only came and settle there through the help of Amachree the Cross Rivirine soldier? Bille is the direct lineage of Ijaw. Do your research very well.

Greater wonder is how the ogoni with the support of ameachi will win rivers Gov with dominated ijaw. Time shall tell.

PoliticsRe: 8 Years Of Uncommon Profligacy & Akpabio's Squandering Of Akwa Ibom Commonwealth by kel4soft: 4:53pm On Sep 12, 2014
I think some comments here are really unfair to Akpabio. Firstly, Uyo is a landlocked area that was just transformed with no natural resources. He actually has done well transforming their capital but, he also failed to intervene during the present crisis rocking Rusal Alscon at Ikot Abasi and the other American group headed by Reuben Jaja..Taking sides in a disputes that have affected employees was not what Akwa Ibomite needed. Even though Alscon has been unfair to my people (Opobos) and Eastern Obolos in distribution of job opportunities when even the Ibibios who occupied key positions and have colonized virtually every position in that company knew where the Aluminium comes from.
At the right time,Opobians will come for there right.

sandijey: Apart from the fact that my mum is ekiti. In every family, I mean every family that I no, there is at least one professor. Its no joke. In my mum's family there are 2. One is I'm Yankee the other one is in ife or so. It's a pride for u to have a professor in ur family.

Secondly, ekiti people and education is just crazy sometimes I feel it makes them act like they know everything " over sabi ". I have been there so I no what am talking about. You see one very old woman in the village who can speak English a bit. I mean all those old looking women that look like witches. Most of them finished secondary school and got married in those days. They couldn't further because of money.

Thirdly I noticed that ekiti people do not see money as anything. When u go to ado for Christmas, ud see proffesors and lecturers who come from abroad on holidays, most of their houses are bungalows. Drive one ordinary car. They speak very deep yoruba English. They don't have any foreign accent at all. They speak like there is hot yam in their mouth but they are just dam intelligent. The first thing they use to rate anybody is " se o lo school or se o kawe" meaning that did u go to school?.

You need to go there and interact wiv them before u can talk. They are politically conscious, strong willed and very very stubborn. The person that mentioned ogun state, you can say all those other states are easily recognisable or seen because of their nature. Ekiti people are not loud. they are just very normal people just don't find their trouble.
Who invented stomach infrastructure?

ionsman: Rivers state?? Abeg make una behave jare.....
I think Rivers should be number one. Reasons, we have multi lingua and result to using english as a means of communication. Can that be said of a state secretariate of lets say Kano, Ibadan or Enugu as a sampling states of North, West and East?

Even our remote villages understand and speak good english
