nairaman66: Thats too harsh!I don't understand this theory of girls hating guys that disturb them. Infact, my ex broke up with me because I don't call her as often and also I don't disturb her. |
OP, speculation without quoting any source is totally wrong. If you are from Akwa Ibom, why are trying to wash your dirty linen in public. Propaganda like this doesn't help the polity. Source or it never happened. |

Obiagu1: Alh, Harem on the rampage...Do you know what a creek looks like? You just come here to spew nonsense. |
ijaw citizen: Its really nice finally identifying some "Igbos" in Opobo Ama. Few questions though. Are you from Opobo? How you know the name Opuama really got me O. Almost all Kalama communities are Ijaws. You are truly Ijaw citizen. Let these people that has not cross even one creek come here to educate us on who is who. |
Ok. Bayelsa reply. |
Very unfortunate, when militancy was on the high side in Port Harcourt, most of these traditional rulers and Politicians relocated to Abuja, even Abuluma and Fimie were deserted then. Is a shame, they have started crawling their way back. Elechi and Njemanze waterside were no go area then. In the space of seven months, unrest and kidnapping have resumed. |
pazienza: Yorobacitizen aka kel4soft, you are not from the east, and it's obvious you know nothing about eastern ethnic groups.I am not the same person as Ijaw Citizen. I am from Opobo, that is why most of my comments have been solely on Andoni and Opobo. The admin or MoD can verify our IP addresses. Just because, I don't see things politically the way you see them doesn't mean you should blackmail me. Attended, St. Andrew's State school, Diobu, Port Harcourt Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Boririki, Port Harcourt and University of Port Harcourt. I am an Opobian and always proud of my Ijaw lineage. |
saintneo: The immediate past Governor, Dr Peter Odili is from Andoni; am I right? Thus, Andoni can't be Ijoid.Dr. Peter Odili is from Ndoni not Andoni in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA also known as ONELGA |
cheruv: Don't be an ijo chauvinist...that makes you commit unnecessary mistakes.its the right of a people to determine who they're..andonis say they're not ijos and you can't force them to be!!King Jaja might be Igbo, but majority of Chiefs he took along to Bonny are Ibanis from Bonny all of Ijaws, chiefs like Toby (Diepriye), Peterside, Dappa, Brown, Kiprima, Tolofari, Epelema (Opusunju) and many more are all Ijaws. |
ijaw citizen: The fact there is some form of enmity/rivary between Opobians & Andonis doesn't make them less Ijaws, Andonis are as Ijaw as the man in Bayelsa or Okrika. I simply don't know why you say Andonis(alternatively called Obolos) are not Ijaws.Well, King Jaja of Opobo had so many slaves from Igbo lineage that he made some Chiefs in Opobo namely Obomanu, Nzekwe, Patesi OkoJaja, and so many chiefs I can't really name here. Bonny: Oko-Jumbo is an Igbo slave just like Jaja. Finally, Andoni refused to identify with the Ibanis clamining they are Obolos, if you traced that, you get to Efik. |
Pictures or it never happened. |
kokoA: Writing an open letter is not the right thing. The man of God in question probably doesn't know anything about this. We all know how overzealous aides of big men in Nigeria are. The best way to go about this is to meet a reasonable elder in the church and explain things to him or her. He or she may take your case to the man personally, or better still pay you off. Having said that, who on earth does an unsolicited work to the tune of 200k ?You just nailed it here. Hope the OP will do the needful. |
Mods FP let's deliberate on this issue. |
The federal government through the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), regulator of the oil and gas sector has indicated its readiness to issue licences to vessels in a bid to legitimise bunkering business in the country. Bunkering is the act or process of supplying a ship with fuel. In Nigeria, oil theft is commonly referred to as bunkering which involves siphoning crude from pipelines into makeshift vessels. The agency also disclosed that the licencing renewals and registration of vessels for the exercise would yield about N250million annually. The development came as the federal government on Wednesday began move to revive the operation of bunkering businesses in the nation’s coastal waters. Director of the agency, George Osahon, who spoke at the sensitisation forum to mark beginning of the exercise in Lagos, said operators of bunkering in the country would be licensed by the DPR beginning from this January. He said President Goodluck Jonathan had approved the issuance of license to bunkers as part of his economic agenda, adding that resuscitation of bunkering activities would create employment activities for Nigerians, as well as act as stimulus for growth in other sectors of the economy, including inland ports and waterways. The exercise will further boost Nigeria’s marine activities which may make the country a hub of bunkering operations in West Africa if bunkering is successfully resuscitated. Osahon told the participants that his agency was committed to making the resuscitation of bunkering a huge success for the country. He said his agency had prepared all guidelines to regulate the business of bunkering in accordance with the provision of the Petroleum Act. Among petroleum products recognised by the Act for bunkering activities are automative gas oil, low pour fuel oil and recently liquefied natural gas,” he said. Assistant Director, Safety of NIMASA, Ubong Abasi, said for operators of bunkering to pass his agency’s test they must let NIMASA know if they wanted to construct their vessels for the operation. Source: Leadership. ..................................................................... This is one policy I have been looking forward to. Hope they will have the guts to achieve this. After this, they should look at this illegal refineries in our creeks. See how they can work with these chaps instead arresting and killing them. I don't see anything wrong in licensing them too. After all, is the same quality of refine products with the imported ones. DPR can license them, give them 2years grace to meet up international standard and everybody will be happy. |
Kponkwem: mpetent/How does Igbo history relates to Ikwerre denouncing their lineage to Igbo? They have identify with the Benins as the link provided to you. Does it mean, Benin are Igbos? |
DeCleff: Prophecy 1 & 53 has already been fulfilled.Wanted to say that too. Shocked to learn his death while watching RSTV news. |
I got their text yesterday too. What could be their reasons? |
OP is drunk as usual. Oyigbo, Etche, Omuma and ONELGA (though Ogba claim they migrated from Benin, that's why they have Oba of Ogbaland) are 90% Igbos which doesn't even give you 15% of Rivers population. The Ikwerres (PHALGA, OBALGA, KELGA and EMOLGA) has also claim they originate from the Ekpeye and Ogba ancestry all traced to Benin. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikwerre_people So, OP your fact that Rivers State is 80% Igbos doesn't hold water. |
VillageBoi: Oh wow that's terrible. I know they sent out acknowledgement emails last year. I had a film in that didn't make the cut either. Did they also forcge 'Google+' on you all this year?Yes, they didn't. But I won't give up. I am almost putting finishing touches to my next movie. I will still participate next year. I may decide to watch the finalists clips and found out why I didn't make the final cut. So necessary adjustment. |
Symphony007: Such a foul statement! If you claim ikwerre's are igbo, why don't you also say the ogoni's are akwa ibomites because they decend from them, or the delta igbo's and delta yoruba's. Rivers state is not independent union of various ethnicities and should not to affiliated with any insane biafran republic. Ikwerres are decendants of the ibo's but today they are rivers people and will. Never associate themselves with the igbos. The united states is a union of european decendants. So is it a european nation? Take not!!Ogoni didn't descend from Akwa Ibom, but Ghana. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogoni_people |
cheruv: There's no need arguing over whether your LG is igbo, ogoni or Kalabari..here are theySome part of PHALGA or Port Harcourt are made up of Kalabaris and Okrika example Abuloma, Borikiri, Sandfild, Town Andoni are Obolo people not Ijaw Opobo consist of Ijaw and Igbos as you rightly said |

Shame my film was not nominated. I wish the finalists all the best. Btw, I am not happy with them, they couldn't even acknowledge my video by mail on something. |
Black Negativity. Staring Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson. Can someone give me a link, mobile for that matter. Thanks. |
Ublaize: Bro, u may think I'm a gentleman, let me warn u I'm not one. Ur choice of words are very provoking. I dropped this here to analyse opinions and see if I'm actually on the right path. I'm just trying to be civil, next time u won't be lucky. What do you really want? |
Cyndymilo: Hi Nairalanders, who knows where I can apply for a year industrial training... Am really in need of a place to attach myself. It depends on your location. If you are in Port Harcourt, it also depend on your discipline or better still, if you will like what will be offer to you. |
kingbang: And who pays Sanusi? Goat!Must you insult someone to make a point? Beside I wasn't even talking to you. How can allegation be level against NNPC and the same minister who heads the corporation was the one that paid the audit firm. Nama shobiri. |
There is no way an enlargement will gulp up to 200,000 naira. OP, Imo, just forget it. See it as a gift to the man of God. Btw, you don't need to come to NL to write an open letter since there was never an agreement between the Pastor or his rep and you. Like I said, sow it in his life and see the blessing therein. |
He that pays the piper dictates its tune. That's all for now and you can be a judge over your case. |
donphilopus: They don dey go, one by one!Reminds me of when your favourite football team is trailing while watching in a view centre. You about to take a leave only for opposing fans to be singing that song. Kind of annoying. |
