Though Bright Gogo Tamuno is a strong ally to Amaechi, I don't see him joining APC because of the pressure from his community. If Nsiegbe can join GDI, then Gogo will just sit on the fence until 2015. |
TribalEAST: So they placed sure-p sign post on ogbomosho-ilorin road, my hometown? This GEJ is a huge FRAUDThere is another sure-p sign post at east-west road at Onne-ette axis constructed since Yaradua tenure. |
Madness! |
atlwireles: That impostor OP is not from the SSYou are an idiot |
Read Civil Engineering. Currently into Cinematography. OP is on point. Education + Skill = Rest. |
atlwireles: Shameless impostor, your time is up.What is he saying? |
atlwireles: Shame less impostor who is the kunt? This Warri man, don't ever quote me. If you can't prove am impersonating. I have told you am from the Ibani clan of Ijaw root. Because am not Pro-GEJ doesn't mean, am not Ijaw. Beside Ogbia is only political Ijaw. If you look at the real Ijaws. Nembes and Ogbia will be strike out. |
Abagworo: Contrary to your insinuations, APC seems to be the party that will enthrone true federalism and equity in Nigeria. My reason for not supporting the return of PDP is simply because they don't care about Niger Deltans at all. They believe that arming militants and giving them money is the right thing to do as witnessed recently in Rivers State. The legitimate people on the streets have not gained anything from 1999 till date and I don't see it changing. The conference being planned is solely for Jonathan's 2015 ambition and its likely troubles and not for the interest of Niger Deltans in particular and Nigeria in general.I wouldn't know if APC can implement true federalism. To me, it looks like they are tryna win us with that gift (TF). I read and listen to their leaders when they came to PH. They sounded like people that will promise anything to win us over. If PDP understand these things, why are they wasting time to do the needful? |
pazienza: This and more are the reasons why Thiefinubu and his ACN gangs are queueing up behind the north, they fear GEJ might give to ceasar( Niger delta), what belongs to ceasar( (NNPC) headquarters.Port Harcourt is safe. If you are not political conscious, you won't even notice there is any form of unrest in the state. |
Sloan: Why should NNPC Head Office be moved when they can simply built another structure there and staff it with people who need to deal specifically with anything related to admin-related oil business. The one in Abuja serves as the top location for bureaucracy, foreign oil company-related business, accounting, etc. What is wrong in that??Tbf, NNPC in Eleme (wrongly called PH) have the structures to serve as the HQ. All they need to do is to build one or more skyscrapers. Shikena. |
Under Yaradua, NLNG HQ was relocated to Port Harcourt after protest from South-South Governors (when they were united) led by Gov. Amaechi. I support the lawyer, am yet to understand why NNPC HQs should be in Lagos. |
Queendo: I am writin an open to d op. What criteria did u use to conclude dt Edwin Clarke is a failure.Because he is a kunt that has planted Orubebe as MND to siphon our regional development. This was the same man, that opposed Odili's Presidential candidacy. I wonder where he was when OBJ was going from state to state campaigning for Jonathan prior 2011. Edwin Clark fails to answer some of the questions raised by OBJ, instead he was attacking the evil one (OBJ). |
OP already knows my stand on this. |
saintneo: Who built Presidential Hotel PH? WhoMy bad if I offend you. I just want to know how Awolowo can declare free education and our past leaders refused to toe the same line. Was it that they couldn't afford it then or what. I need an explanation now. |
With the derivation from Agriculture proceed accrued to them pre-state era i.e during regional government. Why Awolowo was busy developing the Western and mid-western region with University and free education and creating institutions for them. Our so called leaders (Eastern region) then was busy collecting tax and oppressing the minorities (Ijaws, Ikwerres Efik etc). They made sure the minorities suffer. When my Grand Dad, a fisherman then, sail all day and night only for him to be apprehended by this selfish leaders at the shores for unnecessary tax without providing any amenities. Awolowo helped in establishing the University of Ibadan in 1948, it took Azikiwe and Co more than 15years after to established a University in the eastern region, even later than Ahmadu Bello University. They seized all our lands in Port Harcourt, imposing heavy fines on our people. They (Zik and cronies) only developed the Igbo region ala Enugu. Citing all FG structures there. PH and the rest were left to the mercies of God. Untill Gowon created Rivers State in 1967. Your Azikiwe made sure the minorities suffered for been part of you people. ...................................................................... |

The Ogoni Peoples’ Development Forum (OPDF) has hailed the supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike for blaming President Jonathan over the delay in the implementation of the UNEP report on Ogoniland. The forum in a statement in Bori signed by its Secretary, Mr. Raymond Michael noted that the Minister showed leadership by telling the President the truth, an action it said most Nigerians avoid for pecuniary reasons. It added that Nigerian politician must strive to stand for truth no matter their political affiliation and ideological differences especially on issues that affect the people. The Minister represented by a former Chairman of Gokana LGA, Fred Kpakol had at the 21st anniversary celebration of Ogoni Day urged the Presidency, State governor and local government Chairmen to put hands on deck for the clean-up of Ogoniland. The four Ogoni local council Chairmen and state government have played their roles towards the implementation of the report leaving the Federal Government with the final decision, still hanging over two years after the document was submitted to President Jonathan. The group noted that the Ogonis must not be made to die in a country that they have contributed immensely towards its sustenance. OPDF lauded the people for the overwhelming support given to Governor Amaechi who was represented by a worthy son of Ogoniland, Senator Magnus Abe at the event. ifechez: am also in portharcourt. what u read here is the same sentiment as we in portharcourt. They don't share the same. |
ijaw citizen: Mr. Kel4soft, my "Minabo" from Opobo. I guess you mean to say Jonathan is not a PERFECT man?Yep. |
Who told you Igbos don't know the conference is a charade. Just that the current Igbo political office holders don't want to offend their oga at the top. Here in Port Harcourt, most Igbos I speak to are very different from with the way they see politics compare with their NL counterparts. |
I learnt part of the delay has to do with non-passage of the PIB. |
Onlytruth: Mr alj-harem sharrap dia. I wonder for how long you would be on this site trying to destroy Jonathan an innocent man who decided to be true to himself and find his true base upon which to rest while projecting power.Jonathan is not an innocent man. We are not from the East(Ijaws). Just concentrate how you will realised your Biafra country and stop carrying Ijaw and other South-south people along. I love Nigeria and hate Biafra. |
I am one |
Abagworo: Here is an aerial view of Abonnema in Rivers State.Nice one. You forgot Opobo. More like a 'smaller' London. |
DerideGull: Obigbo is more of a town than Elele. In fact, Isiokpo could be considered a town before Elele yet they are glorified villages.Oyigbo is now Port Harcourt. So that's why I didn't list her. |
Sincere 9eria. You should take Abati or Okupe job. |
OP Move on, don't make my mistake. Don't go back to her! |
PDP and Mbu have decided we will sleep with our two eyes open. |
idumuose: I laugh in okrika language.Have you been to Omuku or Bori? Even Buguma, Bonny and Abonnema are better than some towns mentioned here. |
