At home, sleeping. |
I asked around, it's definitely agbo and yoyo bitters. |
I heard from reliable sources, that Jonathan is doing all these to stop IBB,atiku and co from aso rock, as he suport Ribadu for president to complet the 8 years of the north, then the world will glorify him for handing over to opposition party and also to the north without rigging election. What source? |
I don't think he has said anything about winning yet. President Obama's visit to coincide with successful credible elections can be before the swearing-in if the winners. I think that was what President Jonathan intended. Only a stupid ruler will miss an opportunity to host the US president in his tenure. |
The problem starts with the selection and recruitment process. I think the bar should be raised a little higher, not based on education but intellectual and moral maturity. |
I think the major problem with inter-tribal marriage comes from the family of the people involved. |
If he is still fit by 2018, then by all means he is invited to come and play, and hopefully, bring in some experience to the team. It is expected he'll have some experience by then. |

@topic So the strike just started, we have been experiencing black-out for two weeks. And here we thought it was almost over. |
@post I sincerely doubt that girl is a true christian. It is a different thing to put your life on the line for your faith, but when others are involved, it is just unacceptable. Recall how Nigeria suffered one of the worst religious crisis because of a simple comic (albeit a joke) in far away Europe. Her actions can hardly be classified as evangelism since it is obvious she could not convert anyone in that congregation at that time. What then are the basis of her action if not sheer self-righteousness, lack of understanding and total lack of comprehension of human, psychological and religious matters. Such people have no business practicing Christianity or any other religion for that matter. |
Is this the first time you are hearing of south Africans mistreatment towards nigerians without the government dng absolute nothing to protect nigeriansIf that's the case, then the same can be said for most African governments. Even the Nigerian government is known for abandoning cases like this. It's not the first time Nigerians have been wronged abroad, our government barks, but they never bite. |
I think it is still too soon to conclude that the SA government is doing nothing to protect foreigners, lets wait and see how it turns out. |
It was the restaurants policy, not South African to refuse the Nigerian. Personally, I think it will be unfair to classify all SA as Nigerian haters, just as it's also wrong to classify all Nigerians as misfits. |

Channels has the most reliable and credible news service devoid of sentiments (unlike NTA), STV is alright for entertainment. Good stations, no best. |
@Shesi and Liedetect This thread is for an important topic that affects all Nigerians. Your argument is neither important nor necessary, and frankly, it is wearing other posters down. I suggest you take your war of words someplace else. ![]() |
I think Fashola made the right choice. He chose not to lose in 2011, which is what is going to happen to Ribadu and whoever joins as his running mate. |
[s]NEVER[/s] Did I just say that out loud? I mean, I would like to be optimistic and say,"Soon, we are getting there" but the truth is that we are not getting there. As long as viewers continue to accept the It is a vicious cycle, one that is bound to continue until someone takes the risk and breaks away. |
Almost there. Its not perfect, but atleast, its something. Just that they should have dialed down the explosions a little bit. |
Down right nasty. ![]() |
Our leaders need to get their priorities right. Everyone was thinking it, Gaddafi just said it. It is true as a leader he should have been more choicy with his words, but withdrawing our ambassador doesn't solve anything, as far as I can tell, it will only incite a rivalry with Libya(or Gaddafi). The real issue of Nigerians slaughtered should be addressed, and Gaddafi should be shelved for later. |
MsTom:More like he is jinxed. ![]() |
Here we go again. Talk about sore losers. ![]() |
Obviously, he is basing his assumptions solely on the Gross Domestic Product. If that is the case, then it is probably doable. However, a strong economy is more than just numbers on a paper. |
Man up. Tell her everything will be alright, and when she leaves, pack your things and move to Cotonu. |
The reason most Nigerians are heart broken is because we put too much attention on football, I think its time we divert our attention to cricket or badminton. That way, if we suck, we'll say we are new at it. ![]() |
Well, it depends on who you ask. ![]() |

I was struck with conflicted feelings just reading the post. It was funny and also saddening |
Reforming the Nigerian police can first be achieved by getting rid of the old ones and reforming the system. Infrastructure, orientation, equipments and incentives should also be improved. Besides that, NO , no hope of reformation. |

It is a vicious cycle, one that is bound to continue until someone takes the risk and breaks away.
