Maybe, its a little too early to judge her. She was young and made a mistake. I suggest you stick around for a while and see how things turn out.
Politics / Re: Ogba Police Is Harassing Innocent People by kelvin(m): 1:06pm On Aug 31, 2007
Frankly speaking, I don't think there are any good eggs among this men in black. I have not been unfortunate enough to have a personal meeting with them before and I don't look foward to having that pleasure. But I think what our police need is proper orientation and training. They should also be taught how to work within the constituition and respect human rights.

Business / Re: 300 Million Naira Mistakely Paid Into One's Account by kelvin(m): 12:54pm On Jul 23, 2007
Mistakes like that really happen. I've witnessed one with about 100,000 but it was traced almost immediately. However, I am not sure if 300M can be debited in someones account by mistake and even in such a case, the owner of the account can be traced right into his bedroom.
Business / Re: Starting A Table Tennis League by kelvin(m): 5:21pm On Apr 02, 2007
First of all, you should be optimistic about it. Although I don't think it will be profitable for now, but bigger competitions started in lesser ways and you will be able to give people an oportunity to show their talents and wsork on their skills while doing what they enjoy doing.
Politics / Re: New Nigeria Police Force Uniforms by kelvin(m): 5:14pm On Apr 02, 2007
Changing the police uniforms dosen't change anything, but its a step in the right direction. The black and black to many Nigerians has been a symbol of horror rather than relief. Though there are many more important things for the government and police to be bothered with, I advice they both use the opportunity the new uniforms avails them to change the image of the police, so it doesn't become a case of an old wine in a new bottle.

LiquidMind:

Its a big shame  for Nigeria as a nation not to be able to treat even its number one citizens
on any of the hospital in the country for a neecap injury.

I wonder what have they been doing with all the billion and trillion of dollars  from the oil money,

NIGERIA IS A CURSE NATION.     shocked    shocked     shocked

Lord-Have Mercy
@LiquidMind
Whatever our leaders do is not a shame to the country but a shame to themselves, after almost eight years in office, they have been unable to achieve anything and now they want to bore us with another eight years. So Nigeria is not cursed, but our leaders are. sad
Business / Re: Muslims Reject New Naira Notes: No Arabic Inscription by kelvin(m): 6:07pm On Mar 10, 2007
The Sultan's utterances are a slap to the other parts of the country, but I think the annoyance should not be taken out on the whole north or even on the whole Muslims, for all we know, he might have just been expressing his own views. Nevertheless, if he was a little boy, I would have spanked him silly,
Politics / Re: Dariye Impeachment Cancelled by kelvin(m): 5:16pm On Mar 09, 2007
There is no need losing sleep over this Dariye issue. Anyway, the court was ruling on Dariye's impeachment, not his crime. Whatever reason Dariye was not arrested and prosecuted after his impeachment is not known to us, but certainly, the judiciary is not to blame. Congratulations to Dariye on his victory, I hope the few more weeks he has to stay in power is put to good use, because after that, its straight to prison for his crimes against Plateu in particular and Nigeria in general.
TV/Movies / Re: I Can Solve The Problem Of Movie Piracy by kelvin(m): 4:48pm On Mar 09, 2007
@scribe
We can't wait for our leaders to keep doing everything for us. It affects the people more than it does the leaders and remember, we also have a part to play in governance. Thats why we have associations to look into the matter of piracy. There are alot of bodies set up to look into the matters like this, so they should get most of the knocks and not the leaders.
TV/Movies / Re: Is There Any Director Of Movie In The House? I Have A Script Fully Screenplay by kelvin(m): 4:30pm On Mar 09, 2007
@Beline
Don't give up yet, it is one of those things you have to experience on your way up.
Like Jay-Z said, "when you first come in the game, they try to play you". However, I would suggest you stop releasing your manuscripts until you are certain of the personality you are dealing with.

TV/Movies / Re: Invest In My Movie by kelvin(m): 3:36pm On Mar 09, 2007
@andrewdg

You need to give more details about your movie, most Nigerian movies we' ve seen are practically the same.
What kind of crew do you intend working with?
What kind of story do you have?
What stands your story out from the many others we ve seen?
Crime / Re: I Beat My Girl Friends by kelvin(m): 1:52pm On Mar 06, 2007
What do you mean that you cannot control yourself, maybe, you should allow yourself to be beat down by thugs so you see how it feels to lay a hand on a lady.

Travel / Re: No Nigerians Welcome In Tanzania by kelvin(m): 6:32pm On Feb 27, 2007
It's not like Nigeria, is the only country with problems, but if our leaders pay more attention to the humiliation meted out to Nigerians round the world, I think the insults will reduce.

Afterall, Iranians still travel to the US without this sort of harrasment,

Travel / Re: First Time Visitor To Nigeria by kelvin(m): 6:58pm On Jul 28, 2006
@ Todd Terry, your fears are understandable, considering the wide spread of uncomfortable news about Nigeria.
1. As a white person travelling to Lagos, first you must know that you have to mind your business.
2. I have never heard of racism in Nigeria, just tribalism which shouldn't necessarily bother you.
3. First difficulty at MMA, its gonna take you probably 30 minutes to get down from the plane, second, some cab drivers are going to struggle to have you as their passenger and if you do not like being called 'oyibo' get used to it 'cos no one is going to call you Tedd.
4. The government has taken care of that problem but I don't know to what extent.
5. If you are asked to pay bribe, I suggest you don't and mean it seriously, then you'd probably be let alone.
6. I don't think criminals hang around MMA.
7. No case of a white guy being pulled over has been recorded , YET.
8. Whether or not your driver carries a gun, if you will be robbed then you will be, no crook would approach you with a water pistol.
10. VI has some good hotels
11. VI is not necessarily the place to stay.
14. Change your currency at the airport at a bank or a registered BDC.
17. 10 million people walk about the streets of Lagos daily, and sometimes, they all make it back home.
19. I would suggest you don't give anything to a beggar with 2 hands, 2legs, 2 eyes, 2 ears and a tongue.
22. Malaria is about the only disease to be scared of. I heard very few white men make it alive after meleria.
23. Bottled water is available. Ragolis, Eva, Spring are some you can trust.
24. Say maybe $300.
27. Be a good ambassador of your country and stay away from trouble

I hope you enjoy your stay in Nigeria,

There are other possibilities to consider about his death, undecided like maybe he committed suicide, or maybe, undecided
