QuotaSystem: Your brain is clearly useless to you.
Why not dispute his qualifications if you can? That's more useful than being a pathetic victim of your insecurities.
My brother, people see negativity in every thing..If he's qualified which he is,he should take up the position irrespective of where he's from..I'm Igbo buh c'mon that CV is more than qualified to be in that post..
Performanking: Interesting...... This is a bit of a surprise because I was so sure he was getting fired. Instead he will be sent back to school to improve and continue to grow and get better... Wow...
The section for( funds available, room and board and tuition) is one of the most confusing part for Applicants. CIC states that you only need to show figures or proof of funds for the duration of the first year. If you are going for a 2year program you are only required to show proof of funds for the first year (however there is nothing wrong with showing prood beyond the first year). Therefore; Tuition*- this figure should be the total roundup of your entire tuition fees for the duration of your program. In case you don't have the figure then provide the first year only.
Room&Board*- This should show expense for the first year. The default amount in this category is 10kcad however some province requires more I.e Quebec.
Total funds available for stay in Canada*- first year in consideration. The sum total of tuition, living expenses, books and supply etc. Should be filled here. Most times the school gives you a comprehensive breakdown
Others*- any non tuition fees will be recorded in this category. For example Medical insurance.
Please is the default 10000CAD for your apartment alone or other living expenses like transportation around the city..I heard in some provinces, one can rent an apartment for 450 or 500CAD per month × 12 should be 6000CAD for one year..Please I need more clarification sir..Thanks
Oskydaniellyyy: You are very much right. Canada denied me TRV last year in october 11, 2018. I sat down and I just look at everything and I said to myself 'why did l put all my eggs in one basket ?'
I discovered that I needed to try other countries like US, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden and Norway. I applied to all the countries and I got admission in all. Then I started to consider the cost, the GDP per capital of the countries, post study visa/work visa, minimum wage, job availability after studies, overall economic indexes, and visa refusal rate of nigerians in those countries.
I narrowed down my mind to germany and Norway because no tuition fees up to PhD but you will transfer living expenses to the school before you apply for the student visa. The admission I got in Germany (M.ENG in design and development in automotive and mechanical engineering ) has some conditions like Germany language certificate at A1 level and tuition fees of 3000 euros per year which is still very affordable for me but in Norway, the admission came without no condition and with no tuition fees ( M.sc in Engineering design).
Then, I did all the neccesary things and applied for the study permit and within a month I got the study permit approved.
Some people might say because I was denied the Canadian study permit is the reason I am writing this. Well, my tuition fees in Canada is 20000 canadian dollars per year but with me going to norway now, I did not have to bother myself for tuition fees.
Please can you send the link you used in applying to the different universities..Are you required to learn the Norwegian language once you get there?
adeniyi3971: can anyone please recommend schools that can offer MPH (Masters of public health ) for a 2.2 in Biochemistry
Also, what are the most affordable schools that one can apply to
Thanks in anticipation.
Well, with my little knowledge..Masters in Public Health in Memorial University of Newfoundland requires you make atleast 75% CGPA in your last two years in school i.e 3.75/5.0 and must have done a Statistics course in your undergraduate before you'll be eligible to apply..I don't know whether the 2.1 is a prerequisite but from what I've read so far,I think it is but other gurus in the house can help you..
abnot: The day I paid $400 for a British airways flight from London Heathrow to New York return trip I knew there was something wrong and these European airlines have been reaping off Nigerians. Nigerians pay over $1000 for a 6 hour flight from Abuja to London.

vinegurl: Chicken curry sauce is one of those rich and delicious sauces made with chicken, corn flour, chicken broth and mixed veggies, it is super tasty and it goes well with anything staple (rice Potatoes, spaghetti, macaroni).
This chicken sauce is best prepared with boneless chicken; however, you can boil your whole chicken and then take out the bones if you can’t fine chicken breast near you.

Rinse chicken into a wide pot, season it with curry, thyme, ½ parts of onion, pepper, garlic and salt. 3. Add water to slightly cover the chicken and place on high heat to cook until tender 4. Add the chopped tomatoes and sir-fry for 2minutes until soft, add the chopped carrots, green beans and cook for 2 minutes. 8. Add the bell peppers, green peas and stir-fry until the vegetables are all soft. Season the veggies with 1 stock cube, salt, thyme and 1 teaspoon of curry powder and stir the content properly to combine. 9. Leave the content to cook for few minutes on medium heat, bring the chicken stock into it, you can increase it with water if your stock is small and bring to a boil. 10. Return the cooked chicken to the sauce and add the dissolved corn flour to the content and stir well, the sauce will begin to thicken as it boils. Lower the heat and leave it to simmer slowly while you serve. 11. Chicken curry sauce goes well with white rice you can serve it as you like. Bon Appétit
PDPGuy: Thirty four Nigerians were on Wednesday afternoon deported from the United States of America (USA) for "minor offences".
The deportees comprise 32 males and two females who insisted that they did not commit major offences in the US before being sent back to Nigeria.
They were returned to the country through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, aboard a chartered Omni Air International Boeing 767 aircraft.
The aircraft landed on the 18Right of the runway at exactly 14:35pm.
Speaking exclusively to SaharaReporters on behalf of the others, Mr. Olusegun Olatunji, who claimed to have resided in the US for 30 years, accused the US government of illegally deporting him from the country.
He said the only offence he committed was importing herbs, which the US government claimed was counterfeit, from China into the US.
He declared that he was sanctioned with $41,000 for importing the herbs, which he paid, but to his surprise he was still deported alongside others.
Olatunji added that most of the deportees committed traffic offences or overstayed in the US, among other minor offences, which should not have ordinarily warranted their deportation. He lamented that the US government claimed some of them were drug couriers.
He further expressed sadness that in spite of the fact that some of them challenged their impending deportation and had their cases ongoing, they were still deported like major criminals.
“I have been in the US in the past 30 years. Most of us were deported for overstaying visas and some of us have been in the US for years," he said.
"Most of us did not commit any felony or major offences; some of us went to jail for minor offences. Even for traffic offence, you are being deported and a few offences. But they now claimed that we were drug dealers, which is not true.
“I would have spent 30 years in the US by October 18. I have been in the US without any infraction. The only infraction I have was that I ordered merchandise from China, herbs, and they claimed the herbs were counterfeit. That was my so-called offence and I was ordered to pay $41,000, which I paid to the government. They still confiscated the merchandise after paying the sum; despite this, they still deported me. I have never committed any infraction in the US apart from importing these herbs from China.
rentAcock: Na so. They think it is that easy. All the gra gra of getting a visa alone will discourage many. How about my church member who was a doctor in Nigeria? The guy sold his house and traveled to the US with his family over 16 years ago, only to hear that he has given up on his dream of practicing as a medical doctor in the states and has settled for menial jobs like nursing assistant. People are lured by the nice salary doctors earn overseas like how some doctors earn over $200,000 a year and with specialty that number balloons to over $300,000. What they don't realize is how difficult it is to get residency. So many American trained medical students are even finding it difficult to get residency let alone foreigners. Moreover, they sometimes require them to take some other exams or fufill a course requirement which many fail to accomplish.
If these doctors are threatening to leave the country, they should let them, after all, there are many students praying to gain admission for medicine to replace them.
