as election period approaches in edo state, some of us are in a dilemma as to which party we will cast our vote to despite the fact that the incumbent administration has improved infrastructures in the state, no double but the dilapidated nature of my street is worrisome and I am really skeptical about the overwhelming goodwill this government is enjoying. Ironically, my street is less than 4km to edo state government house, edo state house of assembly and the state secretariat. this street is called Erediauwa road, off the popular sapele road. before last year's legislative election was conducted, govt commenced work on the road. but shortly after then, the contractors and their materials disappeared. pictures of my road taken yesterday evening 4/8/16

Gboliwe: God! Please tell me he didn't sing Nigeria jaga jaga! Of all musicians, its that the best the govt. could do? Now I believe Sullivan is ill. The Oringo governor. May God heal him completely.OUT OF POINT |
PSQUARE IS BETTER |
kokoA: I watched this report on channels tv last night, all I did was shook my head. The woman could not make one simple correct sentence in simple english. When the governor asked her to start re-read what a particular line, she replied "u say make I start am again?".. This exercise should be extended to all states of the federation. Can you do better? |
Certainly, the worst performing state government in the country, though a blind supporter of president GEJ |
Wizeboy: I am not in anyway surprise because nobody is perfect, some people just try to be more advanced than other. Are you justifying the corrupt regime of African leaders? |
He is the most corrupt politician in Naija. What did he do with the N300b approved for his ministry during his tenure as the minister for works? |

Oduah’s recent appointments in such agencies have provoked allegations of “ethnic cleansing”. At the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Oduah sacked eight General Managers, GMs. Six of them hail from the Southwest, while two are from the North. Those affected by the weeding process are Solanke Gideon Akintunde, GM, Facilitation; Mrs. Ayeni Folashade Olufemi, acting GM, Internal Audit; Mr. Komolafe Samuel, GM, Commercial; Mr. Oyedepo Adeyemi Biodun, GM, Mechanical; Mr. Adefarasin Adeoye Emmanuel, GM Stores; Mr. Tanko Idris, GM, Management Services; Alhaji Maltala Iliyasu, GM, Finance; and Mr. Bello Olu Kayode, acting GM, Internal Audit. The minister also redeployed six senior staff– four GMs and two Regional Managers–and appointed 75 new staff in the agency. Forty of the new appointees are from the South-East. The minister hails from Anambra State. I don't have time to read every thing in your empty complain. You said out of the 8 sacked GMs, 6 of them are from the sw. Poster, for how many years were they in that position before being sacked?. That means they have been dominating that agency all this while. And you did not complain. |
Vita Abba is most qualified, he has the field experience and of course a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Mr Agu is equally qualified and should be considered as an alternative. It has been observed that politicians from Enugu are focussed and determined. Another chance should be given to them again. |
My friend, I disagree with you completely. You are not being fair to the governor, period. Such scenes can be seen in any part of Nigeria. And the flood water is not his fault. I am not from Imo, but I know that the governor is working |
For Nigeria to grow, we need a very strong and dynamic NASS. And I think they are trying to become one. They must be checks and balances in the system. I do not know why some people are always angry whenever the Presidency is being criticized no matter how constructive it is. Dr Okupe is one man who is attention seeker. He is so corrupt that he was among the first set of govt officials sacked by former president Obasanjo in the early stage of his administration. I am surprised that he has returned to govt so soon |

Really, I think that this story is not balance. It is very one sided and in sympathy with the widow even without hearing from Nkem owoh. Some widows are very troublesome sometimes struggling to get what their late husbands never had when they were alive. You even said that Nkem bought the land from someone. Please we should stop to criticizing people without clear facts on ground to support our points. We should wait and hear from him first |
thelastPope: Who gave this animal kalu a microphone to comment? He is the last Igbo man that should be allowed to comment on anything! Nicompoo! scaliwag!MY good friend, words like the ones you have used are not supposed to come from you if you feel that you are better than Dr. Kalu. I am not from Abia State, but I know that Dr. Kalu is a very brave man. He was among the three ex governors that were able to challenge some of the excesses of ex President Obasanjo during his tenure. He is among the very few that are championing the fight for an Igbo presidency. Leave him alone. You cannot build your reputation by destroying another person's |
Tayo114: you are nt yoruba.Simply because he has a different view. you do not sound serious |
After all, Obj was right in calling them rogues. If not, they should prove otherwise. But why should lawan farouk change his statement from I never collected bribe to later I collected bribe only to expose Otedola. Those evidences provided by Lawan could easily be forged after all. |
EPOMA: I don really post on Nairaland anymore but when you make comments like this, I just have to reply you, How does Buhari like voilence, He had the chance to have a bloody coup in 1983 but it ended not being bloody, all i pray everyday is that Nigeria should continue to suffer since they are so stupid of late.I agree with you, Buhari is nice, I will like to see him rule again. But the constest now is between North and South. And fairly, it is the turn of the south to rule |
Dear comrade, Continue to serve the people and remain fearless. But do more work than propaganda and you will surely succeed. Take a leaf from the governor of Enugu state who, within 5 years had re-contructed, to world standard, almost all the roads in Enugu metro without going on air. Anyway, my wife has vowed to vote for you, no matter what. May God bless you, comrade |
Those of us that voted GEJ into power are becoming more and more disappointed in him. Simply, he is not performing. The system is fast collapsing under his administration. Even VACCINES FOR CHILDREN IMMUNIZATION IS NOT IN SUPPLY AGAIN. Our children cannot be immunized thereby making their future uncertain |

Ever since the order was given by the IG, our roads have become safer and freer. One can comfortably drive without the fear of armed robbers and extorters. |
He left without a single legacy, SHAME! |
Is the airport in Enugu not international? I used to think that it had been given an international status. And if I am correct, then you can drive to Onitsha from Enugu in about 50 min-1 hr. insteady of going through Lagos with all the stress. |
