EbukaLive: Been following this discuss and I am only replying you because you sound reasonable and you mentioned strengthening our institutions something I am really passionate about. Now, to the issue at hand. You are saying PMB should 'come out straight' and do what? Say he has his certificate with him? Because he doesn't. Buhari does not HAVE his WASC Certificate, he 'lost' it, long away and he swore an affidavit to this end. I am sorry I can't explain how he said he lost it now as it is a long story. However, the case against him in the court of law that he HAD to employ an itinerary of legal counsel is about his QUALIFICATION to contest the presidency vis a vis his academic qualification (WASC Certificate). A constitutional matter, but if you see the Nigerian Constitution, it does not say WASSCE or BsC or PhD is actually required, in fact a primary school certificate will suffice, WASC Certificate will also suffice or its equivalent. You will agree with me that Buhari more than fulfils all these requirement and the case against him makes no sense in actual fact. The case is not Show Me Your Certificate but you are not qualified to run for presidency.
PS: The Statement of result was produced by his sec school. And a result sheet showing his result and others that took the exams with him. Buhari owes no one any other explanation or evidences as he has satisfied INEC Requirements even before that SOR was released in fact since 2003. Guy, PMB swore an affidavit that his WASC was with the military board, meanwhile the military came and said there was no record of his result with them. Isn't that perjury? You talk about statement of result and result sheet and I ask, are you visually impaired? Didn't you notice that on that said result sheet, the paper bearing the names including Buhari's name was superimposed on the paper bearing the result, and a photocopy was made. The lines on both papers don't join. The case in question was beyond qualification to be a president. Everybody know that Buhari is qualified, at least being a past president. The fact that he's a retired general means he would have passed WASCE before enrolment into the army, so he should have had a certificate but the information we got was that he entered the army with a letter of recommendation from his principal. That letter was made clear to Nigerians in the heat of the debate. If Buhari's career was built on lies, and and he even lied on oath before INEC, which corruption is worse than that? |

Is this square-headed man now saying the PDP decided not to go to court over this certificate issue owing to the same threat to life? Even b4 the "fura sipping Buhari" became president? How much power does he have then? Lool..
I have always known it ll come to this. The man only wants a name for himself and that's all. He has gained the recognition.
We all must have heard the story of the Kenyan Lawyer who sued 'Israel' for killing Jesus Christ.
https://cdn2.holytaco.com/wp-content/uploads/images/2010/50326727.jpg Buhari was taken to court before the election but the judge adjourned the case to a date after the election, knowing fully well that a ruling against him would have brought massive bloodshed on Nigerians. After the election, PDP decided the let sleeping dogs lie. The truth is that Buhari doesn't have WASC, and before like you who claim to be patriotic still defend him. Anyway, I knew the case wouldn't amount to anything. There is no way that case would have been decided (obviously against him because he doesn't have the certificate) and there won't be another civil war in Nigeria. |

THINK
ANYWAY AM DONE CUZ ITS OBVIOUS YOUR MIND IS TRAPPED IN MYOPIC POVERTY OUTLOOK. Guy stop talking rubbish! Are you using your brain at all? You think everybody here is a slowpoke that you're reeling out figures without reasoning? If Ekenedilichukwu makes $50,000 a day, does he make the money only in Ibadan? You talked about what happened in Ibadan. Why not mention businesses based in Ibadan which owners can pull out $5000 just to bribe military personnel for a few gallons of petrol. You think business men throw away money just like that? Maybe you're an Internet fraudster and dont realise how hard genuine business men work to make their money, for you to think they will use over 1.5million to bribe a soldier for a few gallons of fuel. Now we're not even talking about the amount such a businessman will spend all over the nation, but in Ibadan alone. Are you with your senses at all? |

That is over 1.5 million naira for not more than 2500 litres of fuel, at over 600 naira per litre. I guess you think those guys pluck money from trees. Guy, some of us here are rational. sukkot: I dont think you quite understood how this happened. there was petrol scarcity in the whole of ibadan and queues were like 1000 meters long. nobody had petrol. so they knew that if the few petrol tankers they could get into ibadan pulls up into the filling stations there will be chaos and anarchy so my friends unit was drafted to be in charge of every petrol tanker that comes into ibadan. so EVERYBODY in ibadan who bought petrol for that 3 months bought it through the army unit and you had to drop something for them before they sold it to you. ALL OF IBADAN who bought petrol dropped lots of money and if you are a rich man and you want preferential treatment you drop like 1000 dollars and they will send gallons of petrol to your house . so this my guys unit had the whole ibadan by the balls. i was there and i was staring in amazement at how easy it was to become a gazillionaire if you were in the right place at the right time. Looking at the point in bold, I now realise you're talking rubbish. There's no point engaging you any further. Take care of yourself. |

sukkot: army boys dont necessary have to loot to be rich
i had a friend in the army who was posted to ibadan. during that petrol scarcity they were in charge of all the filling stations and everyone had to pay him to get petrol. on a day at that gas station and gas stations all over ibadan he was making like 10,000 dollars. this whole exercise lasted for 3 months or so. this was a little while back. my nigga went to england and bought a house cash down with the money. he must have made 2 million dollars. point being army boys dont necessarily have to loot to have 1.5 million houses in dubai. they extort from the public Guy, please lie with regard for your listeners. He made $2 million in 3 months just by collecting 500 naira from motorists. That's over 600 million naira in 3 months, which is equivalent to about 6.7million naira everyday. If they extort 500 per motorist, that will be well over 13,000 cars per day. Please how many cars buy fuel in Ibadan on a daily basis? So your friend alone collected all the money extorted from motorists in the whole city, leaving nothing for all other soldiers, his bosses, the petrol station managements, etc? Guy, lie with ease. |

wirinet: Metuh, FFK, Obanikoro and even Fayose has money trials leading from Dasuki's Arms money. Everybody that concrete evidence pointed to as having collected money from Dasuki without reason were asked to refund the money of face prosecution. Some chose to return the money, others like Metuh, FFK and Obanikoro chose to go to court. What I'm saying is that FG shouldn't exonerate him just because he declared the properties. They should investigate him and if those allegations are clearly false, then he should be left alone. There is no evidence that any attempt gas been made to investigate him. |

Gather your concrete evidence of looting by COAS, then write a petition addressed to the chairman of EFCC detailing the allegations. Make sure you get an acknowledged sign copy. davodyguy: Can you see why he was taken to court? I've said it couple of times already and would still say it. Many people home and abroad take loans. But it is bad for you to take loan from banks and fail to pay back as and when due. You signed the agreement and you must perform on it. You took Billions from Union bank and failed to pay back, do you want Union bank to collapse and send workers back into the Labour market?
If ben bruce had told the bank that he wanted to purchase a Beverly home with the bank's money, they may not have granted the loan. Why? He's taking money from Nigerian economy to boost that of USA.
Dangote, Otedola, etc can take loan, but when they default on the pay back period, they should be taken to court, just as Amcon did to him
Nigerians should stop this stupid sentiment and be realistic. Even in England, Wales, USA, CANADA, when you borrow and don't pay back, you can be taken to the court by the lender in order to recover his/her money.
It was under Jonathan in 2013 that Ifeanyi Ubah's capital was taken over due to court's order. it wasn't with Hunt then. Now under buhari, its witch hunt. It would soon turn to wizard hunting That house is worth about 1.5 billion naira or so now. BMB borrowed 11 billion naira. Why then is SR claiming BMB used the loan to buy a house? What happened to the remaining 9.5bn naira? |

Anyi3: I'm no Buhari or APC or Burutai apologetic.
Lemme say that first so you understand my drift. The onus lies on the accuser to proof. If things work that way, everybody should be probed by EFCC, when they buy a car or rent a house above their average income. Someone who has some link to him abusing funds needs to come through saying how and then EFCC takes it from there. What are you saying, man?! SR provided proofs of their accusation and instead of Buhari's government probing the COAS, they already started defending him even before attempting to investigate. Why not let EFCC launch an investigation from the allegation first than the government coking to defend the man even without investigation? Hope you're not a zombie for real. |

You cannot try forcing an obsolete 2011 senate rule on the 2015 senate. If the senate bureaucracy has prepared a 2015 senate rule, you must work with it andnot coming to claim it was forged.
The only way you can prove forgery is by tendering the original. The stupid witnesses are expected to tell the court that there was no amendment to the 2011 senate rule forgetting that senate rule is now obsolete and cannolonger be used for the 2015 senate.
So unless the prosecution can produce the original unforged 2015 senate rule, this case is dead on arrival. Well, a new senate uses the amended version of the last senate rules for inauguration, after which they can do their own amendment. In this case, this 8th senate would have used 2011 senate rules as amended for inauguration. After that, they could have then gone through the normal process of amendment to produce their own 2015 senate rules. It means that the last senate rules of the last assembly should be the exact document that will be used to inaugurate the next senate. |
