Talking about choosing a Muslim, does it seem fair on Nigerian Christians that after Buhari's 8 years, a Southern Muslim does another 8 years with a Northern Muslim VP after which power returns to the North and another Muslim rules for another 8 years. An infrastructure can only be beneficial in driving the economy if it helps to increase foreign exchange earnings either by reducing imports or increasing exports, improve industrialization, improve supply of products and provide permanent employment to workers.
If driving the economy is all about provision of jobs, the host of Nigerian importers in the major markets are also driving the economy, but we know it is in the negative sense.
Borrowing to build railways and bridges in a country that has no power and access roads to many local and agrarian communities where raw materials and food are, is a negative way to drive economy. No wonder Nigeria now uses over 80% of it's revenue generation to service loans.
Talking about borrowing loans from China to build infrastructure, go and read about Sri Lanka and their debt crisis. You will understand that Nigeria will soon be in hot soup.

I have read a lot of people saying "no to Muslim-Muslim ticket" even before Asiwaju emerged. Now that he has emerged as the standard bearer of APC with Atiku as the major challenge to him, I wonder why a Muslim-Muslim ticket of Tinubu presidency is not better than a return of the presidency to north possibly for another eight years after 8 years of PMB.

Like or loathe APC, it has demonstrated being a truly progressive party by standing with a return of the presidency to the South even after Atiku had emerged as PDP's candidate. PDP damned everything common sense by making Atiku emerge with possibility of keeping the presidency in the north and a lot of people seem not to care because PDP is doing what they need to do to win the election without considering fairness and equity.

I am strongly convinced that when the time comes, majority of voters will side with an APC' Muslim-Muslim ticket which returns presidency to the south and reject a Muslim-Christian ticket which keeps the presidency to the north for another eight years to make it 16 straight years of Northern dominance.

Power returning to the south means absolutely nothing to a man from the SE or SS if it will go to a SW Muslim. An Osun Muslim is not much different from an Adamawa Muslim in the eyes of an Anambra man.

If a Muslim has done 8 years and you want to hand over power to a Muslim president and a Muslim VP for another 8 years, how religiously insensitive can you be? It's better for the average Christians to have at least a Christian VP than 2 Muslims at the seat of power.

I know my point won't make sense to you because you are a Muslim. You only need to imagine what it would have been like if after Obasanjo's 8 years, he decided to hand over power to Jolly Nyame (who was the then Taraba State Governor) with Goodluck Jonathan as his running mate. How do you think Nigerian Muslims would have responded? Even though it was going to be a return of power to the North, it would have been an affront on all Nigerian Muslims not just Northern Muslims.

Also, a return of presidency to the SW is unfair in all respects. After 8 years of presidency and 8 years of vice presidency, why does the SW feel it is their right for another 8 years of presidency? Should SW have more claim to the presidency than the NE?
Let's forget about this North and South. There are 6 geopolitical zones in the country and there should be equity in distribution of posts across the zones.
