etrouble: It's not about shutting down the country. The online engagements are very much needed to stimulate many young people who haven't voted in the past to go and vote in this election. Way more than half of registered voters never vote in any election, and a good number of them are youth. When BB starts airing again, most of the online engagements will shift to BB. People will lose interest in talking about election. Even on election day, many will prefer to stay home and watch BB than to go and spend hours outside just to vote. It might be a couple of hundreds of thousands or even millions of young people who will do this, and that might affect the outcome of the election. This is important especially knowing that it is mostly Southerners watch BB compared to Northerners. 1 Like |

Tinubu ceased to be a governor nearly 16 years ago. Tell me one thing he has achieved fir himself intellectually since 2007. |

diadem10: Your middle name is DUMB. I am not an idiot like you. "Balablu, bulaba" can never mean the sane thing as "balabala bolobolo". Even a primary school pupil won't believe that nonsense. Saying "down payment of roasted corn" is simply idiocy. It is neither an idiom or proverb. Roasted corn isn't the cheapest thing in the market for it to be used to symbolise small amount. |

babaolofin: I never said northerners and South westerners are fools. I don't know which of my statements you extrapolated that from. South westerners are supporting Tinubu due to tribalism. It has nothing to do with competence. I know you will say that Igbos are supporting Peter Obi due to tribalism, but that is far from the truth. In 2003, Buhari ran with Chuba Okadigbo, and Ojukwu contested for presidency but Igbos rejected both of them and voted massively for Obasanjo. In 2007, Buhari ran with Edwin Ume-Ezeoke and Ojukwu also contested but Igbos voted Yar'Adua. Igbos supported GEJ in 2011 and 2015 obviously not due to tribe as he isn't Igbo. He was just a better option than Buhari. In 2019, Igbos supported Atiku as he was better than Buhari. The failures of Buhari from 2015 to 2019 were glaring. Kingsley Moghalu contested in 2019 but no Igbo person took him seriously. My point with all these is that Igbos don't usually vote because it's someone from their tribe. If Peter Obi wasn't a good person and was like Rochas or OUK, he wouldn't have as much support from Igbos. You won't tell me it's because Igbos usually vote PDP because Peter Obi isn't in PDP. Infact, PDP VP candidate is Delta Igbo. Peter Obi on the other hand belongs to a party without structure. Apart from Northerners, South Westerners and South Easterners, there are still South Southerners in Nigeria. It is not only Igbos that are not supporting Tinubu. Of course we know there are far more intellectuals in the South than the North. Only the SW intellectuals are supporting Tinubu in the South, and it's mostly due to tribalism. Most intellectuals in the SE, SS, Middle Belt and even diasporans are for PO. Core Northerners are largely illiterates. I am not abusing them but just stating facts. Educational statistics of Nigeria give credence to that. Even Atiku boasted that over 70% of them don't have access to Internet. Tinubu wasn't cleared of anything. He entered a plea bargain in the US and forfeited $460k to the US Government. He was thus not convicted so he doesn't have any record of conviction. Still doesn't rule out the fact that the money he had in his account were proceeds of heroine dealings. The court documents are online for everyone to see and you're talking about Obasanjo. Abegi! Which Tinubu's family and Childhood friends? What are the names of the friends? Who are his primary and secondary school classmates? Which schools did he attend before going to the US? Tribalism won't just allow you tell yourself the simple truth. 1 Like |

babaolofin: Tinubu has made at least one gaffe in each of the rallies he has attended so far. It wasn't a one off. He is definitely not well enough. Nigeria is very sick now and needs a president that will be very sound physically and intellectually. Tinubu just isn't it. I don't even want to go into the issues concerning his heroine dealings or his hidden identity. A 21st century president's history and life should be an open book for the citizens. You can't be striving to rule a nation yet the entirety of your life is shrouded in secrecy. Unfortunately, many Nigerians don't care about competency. That is the reason why Tinubu is relying on Northern and SW votes to make him president. None of that has anything to do with competence. How many intellectuals outside the SW are supporting Tinubu? 1 Like 1 Share |

diadem10: Tinubu NEVER said balabala bolobolo. He said "balablu bluluu bulaba". If he wanted to say what you wrote above, then it means he has difficulty articulating words. That's called aphasia. How do you excuse other gaffes like: "They could not even make a down payment of a roasted corn for that electricity". "Governor of Niger Delta State" "Technolocaup" "High prices are here...is gone" Would you really be confident to have such a man represent Nigeria in the international scene? How is he really going to be able to engage leaders like POTUS, UK Prime Minister, German Chancellor, French President, Canadian PM etc? No matter how good Tinubu was as a governor 16-24 years ago, he has had a significant intellectual decline. He is no longer fit for the job which he might have been fit for, had he contested in 2011. 1 Like 1 Share |

lhordspy: Tinubu is a Muslim and chose a Muslim running mate after 8 years of a fanatic Muslim and you want to tell me he didn't use religion? Why didn't Tinubu choose a Northern Christian as running mate? It's simply because he wanted to appease the Muslim North which he is banking on for electoral victory. It's the worst ever religious campaign in Nigeria, even worse than MKO/Kingibe. Peter Obi stands no chance among the core Muslim Northerners. They will never vote for him even if he chooses Sultan of Sokoto as his running mate. They will rather vote for a cow. That is the reason he has chosen to focus his campaign on his real 'constituency'. You're simply an insecure HYPOCRITE. |

dapadawee: You really can't sit in the comfort of your house and say that the North wants Tinubu. The Northern governors who are mostly in APC are supporting him. We can't say same for the majority of the populace who are disenchanted with APC. We can't say how much they will be able to influence the people to vote for APC considering the gross failures of the party. Tinubu has a very high chance of winning considering that he is in the ruling party but his recent gaffes and multiple evidences of physical and mental frailty are reasons why many people even in the North will refuse to vote for him. |

Eniitankorede: When Buhari got 12 million votes from the North in 2011, how many people contested and won under CPC? Even the states that gave him the highest votes were still taken by PDP. Nigerians cannot deal with someone clearly worse than Buhari for another 4/8 years. Balablu, bulaba is going nowhere. |
Politics / Re: Peter Obi & Yusuf Datti At "The Candidates": Fact Checks And Reactions by Kennydoc(m): 2:46pm On Nov 28, 2022 |
Eniitankorede: You must think everybody else is as dull as you. Peter Obi was not a member of PDP during the reign of the party. He was the leader of APGA. Moses was a member of Pharaoh's family so he was part of the monarchy. Is that so hard to understand? Even when Queen Elizabeth was still alive, Prince William had official roles in the monarchy. That's exactly what Moses was to pharaoh. Tinubu boasted that he made Buhari president. He was a leader of the APC alongside Buhari yet you tell me he wasn't a part of the government? You blame PDP for the errors that happened during their time but you absolve the leader of APC of blame for the gross mismanagement of the country under APC government. E be like say na Agbado fill your brain. Tinubu can only be your Moses not mine. Eniitankorede: You sure say you dey normal? Was Moses not the adopted son of Pharaoh's daughter? He lived in the Palace and even ran away as an adult. I am sure he must have had a sort of administrative position in the Palace. How did Peter Obi participate in PDP government? He was governor under APGA and only joined PDP after his tenure. Moh247: That's not true! Nigeria was at least colonised by the UK. All tax collection in the UK is handled by HMRC which is a government agency. There is no private consultancy organisation involved. It is insane to support the notion that a private organisation should be collecting tax for the government and then take 10% as commission. Most serious countries don't have such a crazy set ups. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: 2023 Presidency: Who Do You Think The Organized Private Sector Will Support? by Kennydoc(m): 9:18pm On Nov 16, 2022 |
plaindealer: Even the almighty US still relies on China for a large number of the products used there. In the UK, very many products are imported from different parts of Europe and Asia. Despite all that, tiny UK is still the 5th largest economy in the World. Without imports, cost of living in the UK will become too high and most people will be miserable. Infact, the UK CANNOT survive without imports. Nigeria is losing forex not because of import of essential commodities but because of corruption. Forex racketeering is a major cancer to the economy. Inflated petroleum products imports is another major cancer. Another one is crude oil bunkering. Without blocking some of these loopholes, you cannot achieve anything even if you ban imports of everything in Nigeria. A country that is struggling with power production cannot have much manufacturing going on, so will still be import dependent to a large extent for life to be meaningful. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Pictures Of Peter Obi Donating Trucks To Anambra Fire Service During His Tenure by Kennydoc(m): 11:21am On Nov 09, 2022 |
LegendHero: Stop showing your dumbness and stupidity. Peter Obi left office 8 years ago. If Willie Obiano allowed the fire trucks to go into disrepair during his 8 years tenure, how is it Peter Obi's problem? Just like Buhari has destroyed Nigeria's economy within 7 years of his tenure, is that Jonathan's fault? The truck that showed up at the Onitsha fire scene was just a water tanker owned by the fire service. It was not an actual fire service truck. Why the fire service did not show up with the fire trucks isn't what I can answer, but at least I know it isn't Peter Obi's fault. Why not show us evidence of Tinubu's investment into the Lagos State Fire Service rather than attributing every development of the largest black city in the World to a man who left office 16 years ago and achieved very little compared to the capacity of the state he governed? 4 Likes |

Yes, he is being held for "organ harvesting" but we all know that he was only trying to save his daughter who needed (and still needs) kidney transplant. He got a willing donor, officially arranged a UK visa for him, only for the guy to get to the UK and lie against him as a means to claim asylum. Nobody is insane enough to travel to the UK to do ritual. For you to even bring that up as a proof that people from a certain tribe are more involved in ritualism shows your inability to do critical thinking.
