Something You Should Fear More Than The Mark Of The Beast!

The coming of the Antichrist (the beast) alongside the mark of the beast is one thing that appears to be generating a lot of fear and tension among Christians and even some church leaders, that all sorts of theories were emerging from different quarters of the church, especially with respect to the outcome of the US elections alongside the new Covid-19 vaccine.

It's quite understandable the apprehension because of what it portends for those who refuse to worship or bow do to the beast or
to take the mark of the beast as was foretold in the scriptures.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

So it's the fate that would befall anyone who refuses to worship the beast or take the mark of the beast, which is ultimately death, probably by beheading, that was causing such apprehension and fear. However Jesus had warned us about something we should fear more those who can only kill the body but can do no more than that.

Luke 12:4-5 (KJV)

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

So the extent of fear the mark of the beast or the Antichrist is generating amongst those of the church is unwarranted, because the worst he can do is to kill the body, and Jesus warned us not to fear such ones, but He who is able to do much more than kill the body even God who is able to kill the body and also the soul in hell.

The fear of God is very important because it makes any other fears, as those of the beast that can only kill the body to become mere shadows in the life of a believer, thereby making it impossible for the devil to use such fears, which is his greatest weapon, to make the believer to yield to his wishes, like worshipping the beast or taking the mark of the beast.

That's why the apostles and those of the first church that Jesus built remained unshakable in their faith, despite the rare extent of persecutions and deaths the devil used his own to bring upon them. It was because they had the fear of God in them, so the devil who could only kill the body but not the soul, could not use the fear of death as a strategy to prevail against them.

However Jesus said that in the last days many believers shall be offended and the love of many would wax cold.

Matthew 24:9-12 (KJV)

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

So the only reason this would happen is because of the lack of the fear of God, because the love of those who truly fear God would never wax cold regardless of such persecution or fear of death, because that fear of God in them would make them endure to the end as it did the apostles and those of the early church.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

I pray the fear of God would return to the church as it used to be in the days of the apostles, so that we would also be to able to endure to the end. In Jesus name! Amen!

Is there anything wrong with two people coming together and just having sex — for fun — without first having an emotionally intimate relationship (assuming safe sex is practiced of course)?

I was raised to believe the answer to this is yes, that there is something wrong with it.

As a sophomore in high school, I had to write a school paper on why premarital sex was wrong. I did the assignment and regurgitated what I needed to get an A.

Privately I had doubts about what I was taught. And of course I went ahead and had premarital sex anyway, which turned out to be a lot of fun with no guilt or regret.

Looking back, I think I would have preferred to get an F on that assignment and had more fun instead.


Your sexual orientation does not define you
Today I see absolutely nothing wrong with having sex just for fun, as long as it’s done safely and consensually. I think those who feel that sex is wrong, dirty, or immoral are terribly repressed. I’ve never met a genuinely happy person that felt this way about sex. Perhaps if such people just got laid more often, they wouldn’t be so grumpy.

Prerequisites for Sex
What prerequisites do we actually need to engage in sex? A willing partner is really all that’s required. If you have a willing partner, you can have sex.

All other rules, constraints, and requirements arise from social conditioning and are therefore unnecessary.

You don’t even need to have met the other person first.

All you need is consent.

Technically speaking, even your partner’s consent is a socially conditioned prerequisite, but I think it’s one we should maintain. The alternative is illegal, unethical, and hurtful. We can certainly enjoy sex without resorting to rape. Acting out your kinky fantasies, on the other hand, can still be completely consensual.

Recently, the increase in armed robberies and banditry has become a disturbing trend in Nigeria. It is even more horrendous when the men of the underworld not only steal when they attack but will also rape any unfortunate female caught in the invasion.

My wife and I were watching a real life crime documentary one evening and in the documentary, a lady was shot and killed after resisting rape advances from 6 men who invaded her residence.

Fortunately, the criminals were later caught using forensic evidence and paraded by law enforcement. These men were tough looking strongly built men who no doubts would have torn the lady apart if they had succeeded in raping her.

However, the shocker was when my wife of 4 years said, and I quote “she just died for nothing and has caused her family a lot of grief...if it were me, I would just let them have their way and live to see another day”.

Although this sounded very right, it also sounded very wrong at the same time and has since been messing with my head as I cannot get the picture out of my mind. We could both see that they were 6 hefty men and yet she felt she should have................

Ladies, am I over reacting and men, what do you think? How can something feel so right and so wrong simultaneously?
