Is it just me or VAR decisions seem to favour European teams more? Officiating generally has favoured European teams.

VAR is a very good outlet to fix matches and ensure the big teams make it far in the tournament. Yesterday the Swedes had a stone wall penalty denied and VAR wasn't even called into use because that would mean a penalty against Germany. They would have had to play almost 80 minutes a man down too.

Seems very easy to call for VAR against teams like Nigeria, Panama, Tunisia etc.

The referees always bottle it when it comes to making game Changing calls against the so-called bigger nations. Entirely possible that that penalty awarded against Nigeria yesterday wouldn't have been given if it happened at the other end.
