Nairaland Moderators, this is a wake up call for you guys! Verify, Verify and Verify again before posting topics to frontpage! Don't turn Nairaland into a medium for every junk news like Nigerian blogs. As for the useless Nigerian bloggers who have no business blogging in the first place your lives will continue to be as useless as the junks and negative rumours you spread about people all in the name of traffic. ![]() |
It's hard to make constructive criticism nowadays without people saying you are jealous or being a hater. People are just too shallow to understand that constructive criticism makes the subject a better fellow and rids him/her of mediocrity as it is in the case of Nigerian entertainers. |

Twerk : Erotic dance which involves gyrating your nyash. It is mostly performed by females. Tweak: Manipulating/modifying a smart device's(Laptop, mobile phone, tablet e.t.c) internal configuration or settings to make it perform actions it ordinarily will not do. Garget: Swelling or Inflammation of a cow's breast/udder. Gadget: Tool,Machine or device with nice functions and often regard as cool to use. The above words have been used wrongly on this thread by supposed informed people (Students, graduates, employed and unemployed) Please, let's get our spellings right. It won't kill us to check and correct our notions of the spelling of everyday words we use once in a while. Thanks |
Not funny! Let the abobaku joke go, it's stale and also plain misinformation and disrespect of other people's culture. |
With what I've read so far on this thread, You guys are still the indomie generation! Today's kids indeed! |
No verifiable authentic source? |
History lessons should be made compulsory in our high schools. Too many ignorant people with smart phones typing rubbish about a culture they have no idea of. Seems everything is done for the sake of TRENDING on social media. |

Danjuma827:Sir, you don't need bible/koran or torah to tell you that incest/inbreeding is a risky business (trying to avoid the word bad) . You run a very high risk of producing genetically deformed kids when you marry your direct relative I.e your sister. Most cultures frown on this type of marriage and for those that allow it, it's mainly between second and third cousins. Genetic diversity helps to build strong healthy offsprings in your generations to come as recessive and unwanted genes are cancelled out while inbreeding does exactly the opposite. |
I have always suspected that some orthodox Priests(Non-Nigerians in particular) especially of Catholic origin to be 45% closet atheists. 9 years (and even after seminary) studying theology and philosophy can do a lot to a fertile intelligent mind that is always willing to learn outside the scope of the bible. That is why the average orthodox priests reasons quite differently (and rather more intelligently) than modern day Pastors. #Just my opinion, you don't have to agree. |
Sorry, I'll go with Bill gates on this |
One would think with the influx of various smart tablet devices (both luxury and chinko brands) into Nigeria in which you can store over thousands of books, the reading culture would have been revived! But hell NO. |
