Was called @ window 20 for documents submission.
Sat down & waitn 4 my number(B416) 2 be called,
At about 10:45am my num appeared @ window 14 whr a young pure white lady interviewed me

She gave us 2 white paper for visa pick up and green card payment.the whole interview lasted for just 4 to 5 minutes.our wedding album was not asked for by the co despite the bunch of album we went with.Na God oooo my e family members,North carolina loading.America here we come

FIY, I have done it for that particular amount. Don't qualify someone's input as assumption. When you put your amount, I never qualified yours as assumption. Mind you, it's a very popular national dailies that I used. Sorry, you can't advertise your media house here. By the way, why should someone pay such an outrageous amount just to have a 2x2 sized publication in a daily. Does it have an International coverage? Even if it does, you still will need to take a copy of it to anywhere you need it, and not go with the assumption that it's already published. I did mine 3,500 and it's very valid as my wife has used it to update her name where she works and beyond.

As for those yet to go for interview please remember that truth is preferred to lie.to all who will be travelling through Dubai be careful and ask questions so that you don’t miss your flight, we have three (3) hours’ time difference with Dubai. I left Nigeria on the 28th October and arrived Los Angeles International Airport at exactly 2:15 American time. I am still waiting for my social security number (SSN) and green card (GC). Please make sure you use trusted address for your papers if not you will regret why you came to America. You can enter from any port of entry (POE). Good news for the married people, It is not compulsory that you must enter from the same port with your family, for example I entered through LAX on the 28th Oct and my family arrived through BWC Dallas, but the DV1 must enter first. I will try my best from time to time to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. Bear it in mind that if you come here you are coming to start from afresh that is if you want to earn good money excerpt you want to die in civil service. Please can someone help me.....my wife is the principal applicant...she has not done change of name since after marriage, all her documents are bearing her maiden name, does she still need to do a newspaper published Change of name before the interview?

She can do it to be on the safe side, it shouldn't cost more than 3500 depending on the newspaper, but it doesn't matter if she doesn't either. As long as it is a bona fide relationship, you are good to go. Mind you, the burden of proof is on both of you.

1. Police report can be done on Saturdays. If you read previous pages of this thread, you will notice that people who have busy schedule during business days often do theirs on Saturdays i.e. Both medicals and police reports.

I can't ascertain the date on my wife NCE certificate, she has bn using 'to whom' and i'm skeptical that d date on the "to whom " might be difrent from d original certificate, which we are yet to collect because d school is on strike. What should we do, considering dat we have to fillin d info on form ds 230?

From my own personal experience, I don't think it's different. I was in a office where the registrar was bringing to his secretary's attention the date of issuance of result as the date that should be on "To whom it may Concern". They should be meticulous about issues like that. I think you should go with the date like that. Or do you have an alternative?

Doublegold: Evening all, pls, regarding my lost WAEC certificate, somebody working in WAEC office just told me that US embassy doesn't accept "WAEC. Confirmation of Result", that it's only UK that accepts it. Please gurus in the house, I need ur candid advice. Help me pls!

Good day. Just go with the computer print out and scratch card and be prepared to explain to them what happened to the certificate, should they ask. With that you are good to go.

No, you are wrong. Where did they state that? A lot of applicants have submitted their forms via email and it was updated. So please explain in case I am getting you wrong.

Yeah email is good as well because it is cheaper and faster. But I have my reservations on it when submitting forms the first time. I prefer using email for updates later. My take also. Just personal though.
