faithman2020: If you are interested in SAP (Business Intelligence and Business warehousing), let me know. I might be able to use my 2 years experince to guild you.I am interested. How do we go about it? |
XYZZ: House, how do one pay the visa fees, is it cash in naira or $ ? Or POS?You pay the visa fee by cash on the day of your interview. You either pay in dollars which is $330 or the naira equivalent @ N165 to $1. PEACE! |

komakan: pls, what does 13000 for Africa stand for? I mean for November Dv Bulletin. Thanks. It means the whole of Africa, persons whose CN falls within 13,000 are current for November, Except: Egypt-7,300; Ethiopia-7,300;Nigeria-7,500. PEACE! |
G2Glory: Thank you for that piece of information but i need clarification on the statement"photocopy' of all documents. Does it include the police report which i presume should be a confidential. For me, I'd advice you get your NPC birth certificate. I did for both my spouse and I for 6k in Benin @ 3k each. It's not much of a financial burden for one extra one. This is just to be on the safe side to avoid any eventualities o. Then about this '92 stuff, I don't know about it. |
prosperadewunmi: my E-family,God bless u for all the fantastic information u av been providing 4 me especially, thanks so mush.Pls I need advise on this case I av 4 credit and one distinction in my waec bt excluding english language and I have 4 credit in my NECO GCE including English and maths I av the original certificate of the 2 result.bt in my waec, the date of birth is different 4rm the one on my passport and all my document ,I also av my ND certificate.I just collect the waec certificate few weeks ago pls what can I doSome time ago, a question was raised almost similar to yours in www.nairaland.com/1359935/u.s-consular-officer-ask-me thread, below was the visaofficer's response: Good morning! We do recognize NECO results. Applicants must have 5 scores of 5 or better in 5 different subjects on the WAEC, SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB certified exams; or they can qualify with a BSC degree, HND, or OND from an accredited university or polytechnic institution. The WAEC or NECO subjects must be academic subjects (for instance, English, biology, math, etc.). Trade subjects, such as plumbing or garment making, do not count for the DV program. We really, really like it when applicants bring scratch cards so we can verify their results. smiley Good luck! |
Dmo4real: check ur mailI have replied. |
Ormania: To check if your CN is current or not follow the monthly publications of the visa bulletin at http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.htmlNo that's for October. For November, Africa is 13,000 while Nigeria is 7,500. |
Dmo4real: pls can i av ur digit, i mean ur number cs there ar lot of question running on ma mindSorry unfortunately, the rule in this thread will not permit me to share my contacts here. However, I will PM you, you will get my email address there and we can start from there. However, I shared my number on DV2013 thread sometime ago, if you can read my previous posts, you may still find it there, if it's not been hidden by the moderators here. PEACE! |
G2Glory: :Beautiful piece. |
Dmo4real: Pls, abt d police or no police report i dnt knw hw true is it bt i learnt dat we can also obtain it from our local police station or is it compulsory we get it from their headquater. jollyiwin: +am doing mine in my state CID.thats what many did and there where no complains.Plus, you will be made to pay extra. Confirm that please. I think since the police report just takes a day(as matter of fact hours) to process and collect, you can do that when you come to Lagos to do your medicals as it's only in Lagos you can do that. When you come do your medicals at The Children's Practice, the police is not far from there. Most folks in DV2013 did same, I see no point in rushing over it and incurring more cost. What say you e-family? PEACE! |
femishow2005: Hello my e-family.Happy Sunday to y'all.Hope we're all preparing for our interview day.Soon we all shall come and testify here IJN. Someday we'll all be thanking God in US of A for what he has done ...faith works wonderYes. I am preparing well. I am meticulously getting documents and credentials arranged. And God has really been opening my eyes to note some red flags that needs rectifications. So it's being awesome so far and waiting to be current by December. PEACE |
3rd eye: A friend registered for d lottery last year but misplaced her printout...if she wanna check if she's won, is there another way around it pls?Go to https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/(S(er5k0c551c1zbo45avje4qu5))/Secure/StatusCheck.aspx click on forgot confirmation, put all details and she's good to go. |
Bossforeva: hahaha..Seun will kill person..oh! I've never heard of this Word in my life before and cn't imagine myself saying that.. Was that a Robot that changed it or something that resembled Desktop..plz i typed an lmbecile NOT an slowpoke..Bravo! Nairalanders am really enjoying this E-CountryType 'Bloody s h i t.' that is the last word should just be a single word, without spaces and see what it would change to. Bloody shit. |
Edimop don jet out yesterday o. |
principo: Got to d embassy before 6a.m.almost started the day on a worried note as my daughter started having a runny stomach.very worried but God took control.screening started by 6:15.no handsets, powder, comb, charger, spoon, baby food, water,or any form of makeup at all is allowed.if any is found on u,look for where to keep it n join the queue all over again.screened in three places b4 entering the hall.at the 3rd stage,u might have to give up your belt.i had to take off my wristwatch n put it in my bag but still wasn't allowed to go in because there were two blades in my purse.found one but couldn't find the other n was held up.i.had to keep apologizing,at the end they let me go despite not being able to detect where it is.finally got in,n my husband went to pay for the visa fees,218 for 4ppl.then he was called to window 21 for documentation.windows 13,14&15 were opened for immigrants.window 13,the dreaded white co i have read of from 2013thread,window 14 the black angel,n 15 a white man.after about 30 mins,my husband and i noticed the white co in 13had our forms with her.not too long ,our number flashed.we went to her full of smiles,n she was full of smiles in return.veryCongrats, we key into this. This is not epistle. We like it more detailed. Thanks. |
Boomshakar: Good morning house please already i haveYes it is both necessary/compulsory to get the NPC to be on the safe side. NPC is just 3000 in Benin City, other places could be cheaper or higher. But overall, it shouldn't cost you more than 5k. So it's not too expensive to get it as far as I am concerned o. Just prepare safely, don't look at the cost implications at times, cos this is an opportunity offered to you on a platter of gold. |
buklan4real@yah:Yes o. Same here. |
principo: Help me thank God ooooooo.visa approved for my husband n i nd two kids by 9:30am this morning.Lagos Nigeria.details later. He don begin dey happen o. Testimonies pouring in like rain. Congrats madam. |
Zillionnaire: Hey guys, jst had my interview in lagos nigeria n my visa was approved.tnk u all for ur support so far.I over prepared accademically but wen I got thr all I was asked wasCongrats. It's good to be prepared anyway. |
femishow2005: US Govt Officially Shutdown...I hope this will not affect embassies and consulate in diaspora. Esp here in naija #justthinkingthoWords from the Visa Officer: So far all Embassies and Consulates are still open and operational, no changes. I doubt we would ever close an overseas post due to a government shutdown, but if it looks like that might happen, I promise to let you all know! |
Upcoming month's visa bulletin: November 2013 (Coming Soon)..... Waiting to be current. Hopefully December. CN: 88** |
ernestleon: Day 1:Wheew. Interesting. Congrats once again. We key into this. Prayer changes things. God is at work. |
ernestleon: I thank God for his mercies despite me being a sinner.I use to think this was just a forum with threads with people, but now I realize it's more than that, it's an online family... I saw so many people praying for my success and I was touched. My gratitude goes to every member of this thread. My visa was approved today and visa pick up tomorrow at 5pm.Interview sequence will be published shortly. You need to see how I shouted and jumped as if Nigeria won the world cup when I saw this. Congrats. What a way to celebrate the independence. DV2014 mode activated... |
okeymen: uninterrupted power supply, good roads and portable water supply, employment opportunities, equity, fairness and justice, security and peaceful coexistenceGuy you want make I come to condemn 9ja ni? Those are the things I want to be seeing o. |
usef83: mornin y'all.pls if a family of four applI'd n d visa was issued n d principal applicant decided to travell first may be after three months other family memba wil join him over der.my question is...at d port of entry is der goin to b any problem dat he didn't bring his family..plsssssss ,responds is highly needed.thanx.As far as I know, there's no issue there. As long as they join the principal applicant later before the expiration of their visas. Note their medicals needs to be valid before they jet out also, so they won't have to do it over there which would be expensive. |
okeymen: Nice one, but you omitted 'chasing'. 53 years of chasing ...You equally omitted 53 years of chasing what? |
53 years of uninterrupted power supply, 53 years of good road and portable water supply, 53 years of employment opportunity, 53 years of equity, fairness and justice, 53 years of security and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, above all; 53 years of transformation. Dear fellow forumites, I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY. |
sunlex: My case is 2013 and iv send d forms last week pls what can I do?Guy or babe, whichever, it's just over. We've come to the end of the road for DV2013. There's nothing physically you can do now. It's so very late. Where have you being? Hibernating? |
@Ernestleon. This is wishing you success in your interview. Trust the process is going on smoothly over there @ Naples. Expecting your testimony soonest. |
VisaOfficer: Hmm. I'll e-mail the panel physician and ask what's going on. Tell them not to worry, the visas are already printed (because the medicals they already submitted are still valid; it's just that they'll expire very soon).Wow. You are so wonderful. Thanks for coming here to offer assistance. |
Tobi henryo: Visa picked up yesterday, myself,♍♈ husband and ♍♈ 3weeks old baby.......Congrats. Very happy for you. |
For one month? Oh boy e!
