Yusmash00: Oh bloody shit! Thank God you are alive. You have to contact the embassy ASAP and let us know their feedback. I really pity you. This is a big lesson for everyone on this forum and still in Nigeria. We have advise ourselves long time ago on this forum that after you collect your documents and passport, you can deposit it at the bank for safety reasons. I don't know how that works. Me after i collect my document, I kept it under the bed of someone i really trust which is over 80miles to my house. He knew about it. You don't have to tell everybody you won a visa lottery. When i won, I only told my mom, my brother and the person who kept the document for me. Just three people. I live together with my friends. I told none of them, we played the lottery together and i was the only one that won. For more than a year, I kept it a secret. I told my GF of 3yrs about it after i got my ticket and traveling in two weeks. Is not that i don't trust her. Its just better to be on the safer side. I told only a friend a day to my departure date. Only my GF & my brother escort me to the airport. NOW IM HERE. #TEAMNONOISE. I doubt those robber's came for money. They came for the documents. Someone don't want you to travel. I just hope the embassy can help you. GOODLUCK.
Wow. Men I like this guy. You are so reserved in that. And you were able to keep it and control it and contain it. Hmm, are you British ni? 'Oh bloody poo' And for the guy, he should contact embassy ASAP, or can contact the Visa Officer for swift response here: https://www.nairaland.com/1359935/u.s-consular-officer-ask-me

Boomshakar: PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR THE HOUSE.
Today, as the Lord liveth, God is giving us breakthrough as we're preparing in Jesus' name!

Whatever does not glorify God in our lives that may cause an hindrance will drop off our lives today!

I decree we all receive the anointing for success and return from our interview with good testimony in the name of Jesus.

Whatever kind of Error on anyone's form, I vow by God that they all loose their grip of effect and become invisible. In the name of Jesus!

Today marks our own day of initiation into the city of success in Jesus' name!

Failure bows to the authority in the name of Jesus! So I declare, failure is far from us and our loved ones in the name of Jesus!

Whatever is in our forms that is not meant to
be there, the mighty power of the Blood of Jesus’ removes it now!

Whatever issue of concern about our interview is resolved now.

From this day henceforth, fear of failure will no longer come into our mind! If you believe, say a believing Amen!

We will all receive our full visa package this time in Jesus’ name!

Every strange spirit following anyone among us is consumed by the fire of God!

I want us to call that visa by name and say VISA! JESUS already paid your price, I won't be denied getting you in the Mighty name of Jesus!

Our light has come, every harassment on our lives is over in Jesus’ name!

Every age-long battle with fear in our heart are turned to overcoming faith by this encounter in Jesus name!I decree we go in peace, and return in abundance of testimonies!

I'm using this opportunity to CONGRATULATE all of us that are connected to JESUS, because we shall experience the difference and be entreated with the favour of GOD at embassy even in America and everywhere we go. I can assure all of us that our interview shall be one of a kind.

You can only benefit from this Blessings if you give your life to Christ because you are not safe until you're saved.

For those that are ready to give there lives to Jesus, pls lift up your right hand to heaven and confess your sin in one minute then say this Prayer with all sincerity in your heart and mean it:

°°Lord Jesus, I give my life to you today. I believe you died for me on the Cross and on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. I believe I'm born again, I'm saved and now I'm a child of God in Jesus Precious Mighty name. Amen!!!
Ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as God made us to be selected, His plan for us all is that we all immigrate/port to USA. No one in this forum will ever be denied visa. Everyone shall come back with testimonies. This thread will swum, drenched and drown with testimonies. There would be unending streams of testimonies from left, right and center. Anyone that joins this thread for the purpose of visa shall plunge into the this 'river of immigrant visa'. And the saints shall say AMEN!.

House, as part of my contribution
to the scheduled F&P from 27th through 30th, I thought it wise that we should have prayer points, below is what I could put together.
1) We shall pray first of all thanking God for making us to be the selected ones amongst the multitude that applied initially.
2) We shall pray for ourselves as an individual and as a group (nairaland)
that:
i) Divine health shall be our portion forthwith.
ii) Wisdom, knowledge and understanding will increase in us.
iii) Mistakes is far from us, we would do the right thing the first time.
3) We shall declare that all documents and credentials needed to process the visa be readily available for us as at when needed.
4) We shall declare that any office we go to; whether be NPC, WAEC, Court, Hospital, Police, Schools, Place of work; every door is opened to us, every request is granted and everything we seek we find. Also that the people we meet their shall fall over themselves to favour us.
5) we shall declare that money shall come to us by free course unhindered during this period as we need funds to process the visa from start till we immigrate.
6) We shall declare that favour will follow us on the day of our interviews right from our abode that morning till Walter Carrington crescent into the Embassy and especially to the CO. Once they see us, they will see the glory of God clothed around us and will have no course to deny us and even make mistakes that would be detrimental
to our visas.
7) We shall pray and declare that henceforth, only goodness and mercies are permitted to follow us all through. That the eyes of the wicked shall never behold us.

Please house if you agree to this, just click the like button. Suggestions, comments and contributions are allowed. I have been so busy that I couldn't really arrange it day by day.
TravelRe: I Am A U.S. Consular Officer: Ask Me Your Visa Questions. by kevweflex(m): 10:46pm On Sep 24, 2013
VisaOfficer: Greetings!

1. Does he have his father's birth certificate? Previous passports? School records or other documents showing that he lived in the U.S.?

2. Every case is different, so I can't really give advice. He should bring whatever he has.

3. Categorically no. It will be harder to prove his claims in the U.S. that it would be here.

4. Technically we can't require DNA, but we CAN strongly suggest it. In this case, clearly, it can't be done.

5. The best thing to do is to make an appointment for a U.S. passport at American Citizens Services, so the ACS Officer can interview the person and get a feel for how the case should be investigated.
I think this would be a easy ride if all necessary documents are available. And like you will always say, The burden of proof is on the person being interviewed to convince the officer at the ACS to get a feel for how the case should be investigated.

timimoyegun: Hi,
Pls do you av any idea on the cost of medicals for an applicant?

Thanks
I think it's around 24k for both consultation and immunization for an adult, and the younger the applicant, the higher the immunization. Based on a previous experience of a DV2013 winner.

Madu77: Please I wish to thank all who have devoted time to help in this forum and plead on all to restraint from very provocative statements. God bless you.
Please how long will it take to do the medical report, police report plus interview? This is to help me carved out my leave plan ot permission. Thanks
Medicals: 3 days for result to be out.
Police: same day
Interview: 1 day
visa pick up: maybe a week after interview.
So you can actually do your medicals and Police same day. You will get your police that very day. You first go for medicals that morning when you are through, go for police, they are around. It takes 3 days for the medicals to come out. So with this I believe you can plan your leave. A 10 working-day leave should suffice from medicals, police, interview and probably visa pick up if things being equal.
I'm sure this helped?

Hi guys, it is very interesting that we are on top of our games in this visa lottery thing. it is also a pity that Nigeria will not be eligibible for 2015, I dont know about subsequent ones

My candid advice: as people tend to get current and obtain their second notification and also go for interviews, their focus will change and they will visit the forum less frequently, I will there advice that you update your signature to include your CN and possible a track that will help others to make estimated caluclations on when they will likely get 2nl or other infor that they require, like I have done in mine

Any of the currencies you choose is very accepted there. If you are not too sure of genuine dollar bills, then go for the naira equivalent. The exchange rate at the embassy is N165:$1 making $330, N54,450.
