![]() If he does not read my mind... Who will? |
You posted the same thing in the romance section. Meaning you have a lot of time on your hands. Why dont you do something more profitable instead of running round nairaland looking for hand outs? You even have a smart phone? You're not serious. Take your life if you want. It would make no difference to nairalanders. |
sukkot:He also called them confused bruh. |
You castigate her for one thing, yet do same. You are angry that she (in your opinion) insulted the first family of the U.S, but you are also insulting her. The funny thing is, her book will definitely get to Trump, and he may choose to ignore, or go with his usual manner of response. But you. Your existence will never be acknowledged by her, talkless your pointless write up. Cry all you want but she is made. You call her a disgrace to Nigerian women, to her family. Pray tell, are you a Nigerian woman? Abi you are part of her family? Or did they text you on whatsapp that she is a disgrace? At least she lives abroad. Trump's decisions affect her and her family. Does her book affect you? She should do what for Nigeria? What does she want to do that the millions of people living here cannot do? Oga please go and drink a cup of tea. |
bongolistik:You're preparing na ![]() |
It is almost as if you are searching, desperately, for reasons to hit your wife ![]() |
![]() This one doesn't have sense at all It was not the man locking his wife outside their house, nor his beating everybody including the wife and locking them outside, No. It was the woman's words after she had received her beating that exposed the family's problems ![]() Madness in high places. |
Let us hear the other side of the story o!!! ![]() Oga Angel. Commissioner of men who can do no harm ![]() |
Your mum has been too nice, too kind, too submissive, too soft. I blame her really. She wasn't penniless or dependent, yet she allowed herself go through such emotional and physical trauma. She took in everything he gave her without uttering a word. You sure say no be your mama born Jesus? ![]() The truth is, if you give Mtchhew. Na wen day don break she wan begin open eye. She will not divorce him joor. She will feed and cloth and educate those children and they will grow up and still feel she owes them something. Their mother will never utter a word of thanks and your father will blame her for their existence. And he will be backed up by men like that person up there. They will call her names, degrade her for being the breadwinner, say that she was too rude, not virtuous enough, and let's not forget their favourite term. She wasn't submissive enough. You, op will not be left out either. You also are to be blamed for your father's mistakes because, how dare you not take his side? You must be a woman, ruled by emotions, brainwashed by your mother, who is also ruled by emotions. Yes. Your mother probably never suffered all the things you want to make us believe she did. And even if she did, it must have been her being the breadwinner that caused it. Oh.. You're a man? Then you are a young naive man that doesn't know his left from his right. Don't you know your mother should be submissive and be virtuous and christlike and accept the children? Don't you know she should feed and clothe and care for the reminders of your father's numerous fuckings with his side chic? Lol. Nairaland has shown me madness in high places. |
Precious performed better than Jahtell. For the first time he wasn't belting and actually sang. I think Timi is a little biased when it comes to Jahtell. I feel he knew if he chose Precious, Idyll would have been saved and Jahtell gone I'm just so sad. My sweet Idyll will just leave like that. |
Wrong decision. The lady didn't do anything wrong to you. She wasn't the one who vowed to be faithful and .... till death. So, no. Don't send anything to her fiance. Shebi her fiance will also cheat? Men are polygamous in nature ba? No matter how hard he fights it, one day the 'man' in him, the one ruled by his penis will show up and he would be forced to sleep with someone else's fiancee. So please. You're not saving anyone or anything by sending any evidence. This is her time. Let her shine before she enters her "husband's house" ![]() I'm sorry it has to be with your husband though. I have thoughts on what to do, but you didn't ask for advice on how to deal with your husband. Best of luck anyways |
I have experience with sicklers and I can tell you that its really not worth it-having these children I mean. Just save yourself the trouble and get someone with the AA genotype. But if you must be with this person, I suggest the both of you don't bother procreating. Because I know a man, who was in your current situation, and he went ahead to have children. Six of them. All sicklers. All dead before age ten. Tell me can you live like that? You might be lucky yes, but you might also be unlucky. Best of luck anyways. |
God bless Favour!!!! .... Abi Ify? What's her name sef? |
Poor performances but at least Highteee got the save she deserves. |
Feminism has a lot of foes. From religion to culture... down to the people who consider zee world watching men as "humans suffering from a bizarre case of mental transvetism" |
Sarassin:The Namaha series. I've always wanted to open my "inner vision", but I'm always too scared to try anything. Yea. Even just chanting mantras. To be honest, spiritual things scare me. ( I am a big baby ) One of my fears was that I'd have to let go of my physical attachments, that I would not be able to enjoy life itself. You know, as a normal person. That somehow, being more knowledgeable in the spirit than most people would cause me to crave seclusion and probably go mad and commit suicide. But since you've cleared that out, another thing I'm scared of is demons. Most of my knowledge is from books I've read, and of course horror movies , and it seems once a you open yourself to anything spiritual, there is always a chance of unwanted spirits slowly possessing you. Its seems a little bit silly, but this is something that has seriously been holding me back.I don't even pray (I'm a christian, or at least I'm trying to be) because I'm too scared to. Most of the time I just rush the Lords Prayer and quickly open my eyes. Is there a way to overcome fear? Permanently? |
Chimamanda Adichie. |
Sir Sarassin, A question. I've gone through a whole lot of your threads, and honestly it seems you are a wizard of some sort ![]() Has your knowledge in anyway affected you negatively? Like, have you been able to have a normal, or at least almost normal life? Do you sleep, or drive or have sex or laugh like the rest of us? Are you married? Pardon the questions, I'm just very curious. And to the topic. You said something about reciting one of them 108 times. Do you mean at least 108 times or strictly 108 times? |
Beautiful piece. ![]() Its nice being given a break from the usual "olosho" and its synonyms we get here.Thank you for this thread. Although they have already come to prove their "masculinity" ![]() |
I'd like to get married so I can relax and have my husband take care of me, and the children of course, but mostly me. I can't wait to not work and leech eternally off some guy. I want to be cared for financially and otherwise, and when he expects me to at least do something like cook and all that other stuff, I'd use his money and pay someone else to do it ![]() Husband ti takeover ![]() |
We both know that women who don't drop their father's name are the minority, so you probably not have anything to worry about. Now I'm wondering. Does keeping her father's name make a woman less married to her man? |
The problem and reasons for the problem are present, but you offer no solutions. Btw, the first quote? Brilliant. |
Oselumhe:I don't think you are very intelligent. That's why you don't understand what I'm saying. Goodnight sir. |
ikorodureporta:If I should tell you that mosquities have entered my nose more than three times, one time even waking me up at night, or that I have almost swallowed one while snoring, you wouldn't believe me. |
Oselumhe:I could also say that we being higher animals should infact practice homosexuality, because mating the same way as lower animals is a little bit disgusting. I mean, who ought to be wiser here? Do you see what I am driving at sir? |
OtemAtum:The church beside my place one certain Sunday recited, and I kid you not, "every child of evil buried under my house be uprooted now in Jesus name" 7 times. 7 freaking times. |
Can it also be said that they are electrically correct? As two wires carrying curent in the same direction attract while opposites repel? No. Because not only would it be dumb to liken moving charges with the sexuality of humans, we also need to mind our business. Words won't and can't change anyone's sexual preferences, especially not comparison with magnetic poles. ![]() |
Lol... What the guy above me said ![]() They aren't just attracted to our ears. They move round the body but, you just can't tell because it is physically impossible to hear from any other part of your body aside your ears |
Be calm. All you need is a surgery. A minor one even. |
Nyceguy92:No. The story isn't peculiar to the op. You are probably from a good family that's why you're saying this. I also have a similar story. A 32 year old cousin, engaged for the past four years because his parents flat out told him he can't get married until his 5 younger ones are through with school. Yes. University and everything. The funniest thing is the youngest is just in SS2 ![]() A lot of parents turn the 1st child into a parent. The same reason my 20 year old coursemate is soon getting married to a rich man she has no iota of feelings for. How else would her younger ones feed and get an education? |
gentlechyke:Not really. The child is crying out because he wants to see his father. He was abandoned by his father. His mates at school ridicule him because of the absence of his father. Like you said, Father figure gives a sense of belonging. |
