Zi: Its not sustainable. Or does he plan to dash out 2.25 million once a month? If yes, its not economical. Thanks Actually it would cost a whole lot more than 2.25 million per DAY to clean a whole state. You will need more than 200 field workers, equipment, maintenance, benefits for those workers, offices, administration, transportation, medicals.. This way you will cut all those costs down. It is extremely economical. The question you should ask is IS IT ETHICAL....to that , I cannot answer.. |

Zi: Sweep and get money? Ok o.
Isn't it better to use this 1m + 750k + 500k ie 2.25m to empower and equip the state Environmental Sanitation Board, and if they don't have one, set one up. Actually no it isn't.... Lol. 2.25 million cannot even buy one garbage truck. But it has mobilised a whole state into action .... Not a single civil servant has been hired and all the job can be done at the same time.. I know where you are coming from but I'm sorry to say there's actually a little sense in this scheme It's saved a lot of money if you think about it |

urchbarbie: what I think is that the Original has this inscriptions in a dimmed version. its gets clear when photocopied by pirates I think. I think its d authors way to expose pirates, but its just backfired. IMO Yeah.. If that is the case, they need to change the message so it's not directed to the customer.. The unfortunate thing here is that this is probably the only way to get people's attention so they stop buying pirated. If it just said it was pirated but all the info was correct and the book is cheaper only 10%will care.. And they still won't be able to find the original anyway |

Publishers put such water marks on their books so that when it is pirated the marks will show, But in the original copies its not there Reason for the evil sublimal message is because u have a pirated copy Good point..but why would they go to such lengths abusing the child instead of just saying the book is pirated |

The presidency is definitely at fault for not doing their homework on this. But a HONORARY DEGREE is bestowed for actual work the degree holder has done in real life o. Which means it is worthless by itself. Sad that we place so much regard on degrees in this country.. Instead of looking at what the person in question has done.. You don't even need to enter the university to get a HONORARY DEGREE. They could have even mailed it to him and he didn't know it was fake sef. Now it has come back to bite him lol. |

Mrbigman1: Sedco was been contracted by Agip Nigeria who are known very well for dia careless attitude on safety but the must crazy part of the news is that [s]the chopper (kisrosky S-70). Is said to be an out dated kind of chopper and can only be found in africa (dumping ground)[/s]
My question is, who authorised that chopper into this country? . It's called a Sikorsky s76 c++ and its far from outdated . at the moment Bristow is upgrading their fleet as well. If you compare with other helicopter companies I'm sure you will retract your words. Your company knows why they have a contract with Bristow and I'm sure there were rigorous safety audits before any agreement was signed. Having said that, helicopter crashes happen. It's one of the most unsafe ways to travel. Unfortunately given the size of bristows operations they were bound to draw the short strw sooner or later. |

That pic is not a 737..
What I can categorically say is those guys are the best in maintenance. In fact most other airlines bring their tyres to Aero as they are one of the few airlines licensed for 3rd party maintenance at least that was the case while I was there..but the big issue they had severally was foreign object damage FOD ...from rubbish on the runway. This is not an aero problem. It is a FAAN issue. Apart from this the runways in Nigeria are usually in bad shape which make the tires wear out much faster than other countries..combine that with heavy traffic at Lagos airport and rainy season.. You are bound to have one or 2 incidents a year.. |
