Fayose is right but he should be speaking this truth from behind prison bars just like so many other serving and non serving government officials should also be behind bars. Extreme heartache inducing piece. The solid foundation for corruption was laid looooooooooooooooooong time ago and some of the earlier supervisors of the cancer and those that consolidated it are peacocking around as celebrated saints, moral crusaders and heroes. The hydra headed corruption monster has become extremely powerful and will ruthlessly fight back any attempt to diminish its influence. Q. What is the solution? What is the way forward to a successful prosperous Nigeria for all Nigerians?? A? Put Nigeria first, second, third in all things, and the will to fight even unto death to ensure it no matter whose interest is threatened or harmed. Do we have corrupt politicians and other government employees in Nigeria? Do we have members of the private sector who by virtue of access to the above also corruptly enriched themselves? (think bankers, press, etc) Have they corruptly enriched themselves and stolen dizzyingly gargantuan sums of money, treasure troves that will last forever? Are the parasites found in and around the Pdp, Apc, Gej, Pmb, Nnpc, Obj, Ibb, Gtb, Nurtw, Nlc, etc? Has this corruption and get rich quick by any means affected other levels of society? (think, "maga don pay shout alleluia" and other wayo) Is it going to stop? Can it be stopped? What is the direct or indirect consequence of this cancer in your personal existence? (think from something simple like nepa take light and u hit yur big toe or something tragic like nepa take light, candle burn house or yur generator catch fire as u pour in petrol, person wound or die. That child might never have been see again in Nigeria if she had been allowed to travel this time with the Adelekes. Most youths only see the humor in all of this when they should be inwardly boiling with intense anger seeking a way of expression, so much so that the thieving people of Nigeria would be sick with panic and fear of what will befall them. No, instead Nigerians (youths) are going about their normal day to day suffering and smiling while the thieves are grandstanding and the ones who are in the ruling party are feeling cool. A Naira stolen is a Naira that should have been utilized for the provision of basic services. Basic services whose glaring absence results in the daily needless suffering, even death, of fellow Nigerians. That fellow Nigerian could be your beloved family member or friend. Lets imagine, if there is a wedding/party/cerebration, somewhere, with all thieves (anyone who uses their position to enrich themselves) past and present and their families gathered. Such a gathering would include the Objs, Umaru Dikkos, Otedolas, Tinubus, Abachas, Atikus, Abubakars, IBBs, Traditional Rulers, L.G chairmen, Heads of NNPC, Minsters, Senators, Thieving pastors, etc. All of them that you can think of, the whole gamut of human filth that manifest corruption in Nigeria. Now add to them members of my family, my parents, my 13 siblings, my wife and kids, even add me join. Why are we there? Perhaps working at the party as service providers, security details, etc. Now that we have all these crooks and innocent bystanders in one place, can we nuke them all and delete their existence from the surface of the earth? YES, YES, and a million YESES!!!! My only problem will be how to get back the trillions of Naira stolen by these maggots back into the treasury of the Nigerian nation before they are destroyed. And hope that Nigeria can start afresh with servant leaders that will put Nigeria first second and third! Leaders that after their service to the nation will retire to spend their well earned pensions with the joy and satisfaction of knowing that they served their fatherland fruitfully with honesty and dignity and added tonnes of value!
