what is wrong with these kids in nairaland.we were informed by jtf that is likely he is dead as he sustained a wound during a shoot out ,then recently we heard another news that he iss till alive .what do u expect the president to say,he is correct to say he doent know what is wrong in that?

these governors crying blue murder are the same that have refused to give local government thiers.in my state 100 million is allocated for my local government but the governor will only give the chairman 35 million.u see how painfull it is .

- the quality of graduates
- the experience and qualification of academic staff
- coñdition of learning
I would rank them as thus

1...THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN (UI)
2..OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY(OAU)
3.. AHMODU BELLO UNIVERSITY(ABU)
4..UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG)
5..UNIVERSITY OF BENIN(UNIBEN)


these universities cannot be out of 1-7 th in nigeria no matter ur source(s) of ranking......

in those good old days nairaland was occupied by mainly undergraduates and gradutaes but since the arrival of primary and secondary school pupils and students ,we started seeing ,first to comment cos they are used to position in school.but i cannot tell where end time things slang emanated from,is it a case of the world becoming churchly and the church becoming wordly.ur is it that we just like using or forming slangs once in a while.similarly,the price of garri stuffs,are we becoming too food conscious ,man shall nt live by bread alone.in all it has been intresting being a nairalander.

i can remember vividly in the university,our sug president rented buses for us to go for a courtesy call in the state capital for the governor that he intends to give us some goodies.trust students we jumped into the bus,only to later discover on arrival that we came to thwart the impeachment of the governor,the students destroyed the house of assembly,went to a hotel where some people were hving meeting ,scattered the whole place.i just looked from afar ,could nt beleive these idiots used us for their selfish interst.this happened over 12 years ago.am wiser now

this is a very sensitive issue,myfriend works butwhen she visits she expects at least transport,we live at different towns four hours on road apart,once i didnt give her she did nt complain,but her response in some issues made me know she was expecting some thing from me.since then my dear ,i dis covered no matter how much a woman has she still wants her mans own.a woman always want her man to buy things for her once in a while.

we should change our values in this country,this is our culture,lets stop pretending.in the home,family members tend to surport those that hv the means to help them whether its right or not,in the community,a rich man is extoled,in the church he is made an elder , deacon or chairman of comitee.during elections people do so many things wrong,u hv to be rich or have a godfather to win in this country. What is hapening in the senate is the reflection of our nation.we need to change this,lets learn to accept defeat,accept opposing views on matters,and put the welfare ofthe nation first before personal aggrandizement.
