Nottingham Forest and Olympiakos owner Evangelos Marinakis has tested positive for coronavirus.

Marinakis, 52, was at the City Ground for Forest's Championship fixture against Millwall on Friday.

Olympiakos are due to host Wolves in the Europa League on Thursday, although the BBC understands Wolves have asked for the game to be postponed.

"Mr Marinakis was diagnosed after showing the first symptoms on his return to Greece," said Forest.

"During his stay in Nottingham he did not show any symptoms of the virus.

"The club are seeking advice from medical professionals and the relevant governing bodies to ensure the correct measures are taken."

Marinakis had earlier revealed he had been diagnosed with coronavirus on social media platform Instagram.

"The recent virus has 'visited' me and I felt obliged to let the public know," he said. "I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctor's instructions."

Millwall, who won Friday's game in Nottingham 3-0, have said that "senior club representatives who came into contact with Mr Marinakis have begun a period of self isolation".

A club spokesman added: "This is purely a precautionary measure and no individual has displayed any symptoms. The club will continue to follow all necessary guidance from the appropriate bodies."

The Lions are due to host Derby County at The Den on Saturday.

It was confirmed on Monday that Wolves' last-16 first-leg match at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium was to be played behind closed doors because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Premier League club had sold 1,000 tickets for the fixture, with full ticket refunds currently being processed.

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has said: "If we have to go we will. But we don't agree - we're not happy to go."

The Greek government announced on Sunday that all professional sports events for the next two weeks will be played without spectators, although Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden has said that events in Britain are unlikely to be affected by coronavirus in the immediate future.

Forest, who are fifth in the Championship table and scheduled to play Sheffield Wednesday in their next league game on Saturday, have been in contact with the English Football League and discussions are ongoing.

'Nottingham Forest keen not to cause panic'
Forest are waiting for advice from health officials before taking any further action.

They say Marinakis was showing no symptoms of the virus while he was in Nottingham, which may reassure members of the public who might have come into contact with him on Friday.

It is not yet clear how many staff members or players he came into direct contact with but, as you would expect, the club is being bombarded with questions about how this might affect Saturday's game against Sheffield Wednesday or future matches.

The genuine answer at the moment is that nobody knows, because they are awaiting medical advice. Once that advice is received, I would expect Forest to follow it to the letter, whatever the consequences regarding football.

At this stage, though, any speculation would be just that, and Forest are keen that they are not seen to cause panic or to be scare-mongering.

Marinakis was also in attendance at Emirates Stadium in late February when Olympiakos beat Arsenal in the previous round of the Europa League.

An Arsenal statement read: "Our home match with Olympiakos in the Europa League was played on Thursday, 27 February and none of our staff who came into contact with Mr Marinakis on that matchday have reported any symptoms since.

"We continue to follow strict protocols with regard to coronavirus. We're following the government health guidelines and have additional procedures in place to protect our players and staff. This has included regular deep cleaning of areas used by players at Emirates Stadium and our training centre."

The Director-General, Media and Communications, Kano State Government, Salihu Yakasai, has said the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, won’t have access to visitors.

He said this while making clarification on the removal of Sanusi on Monday.

The Kano State Executive Council had on Monday approved the immediate removal of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II.

The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, announced the unanimous decision of the council at a news conference on Monday in Kano.

He said the removal of the monarch followed alleged disrespect to lawful instructions by the state governor.

After Sanusi’s removal, there were speculations that he could emerge as the presidential or governorship candidate of a political party in the 2023 general election.

But Yakasi via his Twitter handle, @dawisu, said Sanusi would be kept in exile and would not have his freedom as expected.

“Clearly, some people are ignorant of how dethronement works. When an Emir is dethroned, he is sent to exile in a remote location and will basically be under house arrest and won’t have access to visitors. A person under these circumstances will be after his freedom and not the next election,” he tweeted.

The scientists behind the research said their investigation also highlighted the importance of wearing face masks because of the length of time it can linger.

The coronavirus that causes Covid-19 can linger in the air for at least 30 minutes and travel up to 4.5 metres – further than the “safe distance” advised by health authorities around the world, according to a study by a team of Chinese government epidemiologists.

The researchers also found that it can last for days on a surface where respiratory droplets land, raising the risk of transmission if unsuspecting people touch it and then rub their face.

The length of time it lasts on the surface depends on factors such as temperature and the type of surface, for example at around 37C (98F), it can survive for two to three days on glass, fabric, metal, plastic or paper.

These findings, from a group of official researchers from Hunan province investigating a cluster case, challenge the advice from health authorities around the world that people should remain apart at a “safe distance” of one to two metres (three to six and a half feet).

This thread is created to share my experience on the new Lagos BRT buses deployed to move Lagosians intrastate.

This review is based on personal experience,having using the buses to get to places around some parts of Lagos, i can say its a cool one.

The buses seems to be doing well but with few damages which if neglected, it will accumulate and later incure more huge cost in repairing.

USB PORTS
Some USB ports seems to be damaged;of which damages were caused by passengers carelssness. Although some ports seems to be working perfectly well.

SEATS
All seats are perfectly in place. None appears to be damaged in the buses have boarded over the last two months.

PRICES
The new BRT bus cost relatively the same as other commercial transits but passangers still opt for it due to its on-board air conditioner, free wifi(2g) and convenience.

CHASIS
External parts of some buses seems to have suffered from scratches and dents caused by slight collisions and impatient drivers around the streets of Lagos.

INTERIOR
Interior seems to be wow as the look is somthing to behold.

This are just my review over the last few months have been moving around Lagos with the bus facilities. Maintenance culture needs to be put in place so the buses don't just go back to the cloud before time.
