My Toyota Highlander 2003 model is showing A/T oil Temperature on the dashboard.
This makes the car not to start.
I was driving and all of a sudden the car lost transmission and came to a halt. It just refused to start.

I want to know from experts before I call in the mechanics to check it.

The transmission oil is guaged.
Engine oil is guaged
Brake fluid is guaged

Your transmission fluid temperature has risen higher than necessary.

If it keep driving, it would damage the transmission. Have it checked and fixed properly before continued use of that car

06-07 shifts and drives smoother than 08-12

It even has lesser torque than the 8th gen.
The 7th gen accord 03-07 is 212 and 211 ib.ft rated torque

While the 8th gen 08 - 12 is rated 248 and 254ib.ft torque rating respectively.

It's an updated engine from VQ35, all the gremlins of VQ35 were solved in the G37.
Tho, the new engine is mated to a 7sp auto. The watch word here is, should it break, would you easily find replacement part?

It's not a bad car. It's a very much driver's focused car. It's more sportier than the the rest of the competition.

It's not as luxurious and smooth as the competition. As with all new models, I'd advice you avoid the first year release models, if possible, do the post LCI where all gremlins were corrected.

The most common issue with these cars are over heating, due to its propensity to generate much heat. It's water pump are electric driven and could fail. Also, vacuum lines too could break and thus would cause hissing sounds, hesitation, mild misfires etc.
In addition, they can leak oil from various parts.

On the whole, when they're pampered, they are good.

There's this age old debate about which driving practice is more or less fuel efficient between driving with one's windows down or using the car's air-conditioning.

From most online who've weighed in on this matter, the most convincing so far seems to be to drive with the air-conditioning ON after achieving certain speeds, say over 60km/h, and to take down the windows in stop-and-go traffic. That way petrol gets saved better.

You just stated it. Replace the affected part with a good tokumbo or brand new unit.

It's a Bedford truck or a man truck. It needs condemn engine oil or just high temperature grease.

Good morning to all car gurus, pls I observe my power steering oil keeps draining I have to buy ATF oil once every 2days and I just changed d power steering pump, I took the car to my my mechanic and he said something steering beam leaks and gave me two option,

1. To replace it totally or

2. Amend it by fixing the leakage,

My question is, is it safe to amend it? Secondly, when and how can my power steering pump knock or breakdown? I am hearing a sound from the power steering pump, does it mean the pump is bad? Cause the steering is still soft

The last time I checked, Man truck of 1965 doesn't need ATF for their steering boxes.
