I have an update, I have changed my gear completely.

However, I have a different experience now.

When I accelerate quickly and then come to a stop due to traffic or cars ahead slowing down, I experience difficult accelerate back until I change my gear to Reverse (it then jerks) and then change back to Drive (it jerks again). Does anyone have any understanding of what I am experiencing.

It is barely two weeks that I changed the gear completely and the mechanic said I should give it like two weeks.

I'm about to buy a car. Noticed a few things.

1. The steering isnt smooth enough. Has a stiff turn. I won't enjoy driving it this way atall. I'm used to light steering and easy turning of the wheel.

2. The AC really pulls at the engine especially when moving from a stop.

This is a Honda Accord 2009.

I understand I'm buying a Nigerian used car and it won't be nearly 100% perfect. But are this things fixable and not cause regret if I proceed further to purchase the car

Also noticed the vehicle paper has expired way back in 2016 (same time the custom duty was done). According to the dealer, the person has been using the car in the core north (where all this uniform people don't trouble them) so didn't see need to renew the vehicle papers. What do you think ?

My 2008 honda accord (v4) jacks violently when my car changes gears. It does this also when about driving after few hours of parking.

I have changed engine seats, fuel pump and it's still the same. Though, the car moves well after the jack.

What could be wrong ..kindly advise

Help. I did not charge my oil since August.noticed it was shorting oil,so I topped with 5w30,5w40,20w50.then I finally serviced the engine with new oil yesterday. Used engine flush and drained the old oil which was charcoal black. Poured the new oil and new filter 5w40. Now it smokes gradually at idle. All spark plugs are good and not wet. What's the solution. Engine compression still strong.should I add resurrs additive

No but rpm on idle is 1200,with ac 1000rpm. When the top cylinder was removed,i could see like sandlike sludge by the sides but top cylinder is goldish colour..could it be from bad oil. The useless engine flush didnot dislodge anything. I felt like using pressure hose to force out all the slidges by rhe edges ofthe cylinder wall.

Toyota Camry 2007, flashing maintenance required but the oil isn’t short after checking. I did notice that the Odometer is about 104500, so I think it’s something that is programmed like after 5000 miles then the flashing light would come up. Please what can I do ?

I've done no less than 10 times each for both actions mentioned since the time I got the car.

Most times, the problem just slightly reduces or remains the same.

It's become rocket science to the mechanics that have handled the car.
