I drive Mercedes E320, w211. My problem is that the car keep smoking and shorting oil. I bought the car as Nigeria used, my first mechanic service the car with mobil xhp 1000. And since then I started noticing oil shortage and smoke coming out from the exhaust. The car sound smooth and run very well, my mechanic recommend I changed the engine, not confused I took the car to one of the best mechanic workshop in Abuja (alimoto) for scanning and the results show that their is no problem with the engine of the car, although I have changed the oil back from mobil xhp 1000 to mobil 5 w20 semi synthetic my only problem is just the smoke that comes out from the exhaust. What could be the reason why car emits white smoke but engine sound well and move very well.

If your engine has a blown head gasket, oil cooler is bad, it will emit white smoke. If your engine is burning oil, it means either piston rings are worn out, cylinder walls are scoured, wrong grade oil is used, or even thr valve stem oil seals are bad etc. You do NOT need a scan, you need a compression and leak test carried out. In my own opinion, you may need to prepare to rebuild or replace the engine.

Please kindly advise me, I recently changed the COMPLETE ac system on my Toyota camry 2008 to the last hose and pipe, compressor, evaporator everything because all the ac system was completely blocked and burnt.

But the ac only worked for about 1week after changing the whole system and it stopped working, I took it back and black fluid were coming from the entire ac system.

The guy flushed all the again but asked me to change compressor i just bought because the black stuff has affected it.

Please what may have caused the black stuffs and is there any assurance that it won't happen again after buying another compressor?

Check your AC panel, check wiring going to AC panel, check relays and fuses for AC.

Go visit a doctor, get a report to your employer and apply for an automatic transmission equipped vehicle.

When you stop, put the gear in neutral. It's not a must to keep it in gear and clutch down. As for your left foot experiencing shaking and spasms, you need to visit a doctor get treated and also get a report and take same report to your employers leting them know your health challenge and applying for an auto transmission car.

I just bought rx300 4WD Nigerian used.
The car was working fine until I changed the front hub. After which, when I put it on reverse, the passenger front tyre will be dragging to move as if it hook. The mechanic changed the hub t the old one and same thing persist. And this makes the reverse to be dragging. But the drive mode works perfectly well.
And I also have "check engine light on the dashboard
Any advise please.

Have the front and rear axles checked by a competent technician.

Do a Benz engine swap ! You can go for a v8 engine

It won't easily fit in that bay. He can do a M104 l6 3.2 or 3.4 AMG engine. These are easier and won't cause a whole lot of issues or require serious electrical works.

Check if your tyres are bent or swollen, check if shock tube are bent, if all are in order, replace the tyre with 16" rim which came standard for that car.

Anything can cause it. There's a lot of reason why it could exhibit such symptoms. Pls have a competent technician check it.

You can't use your side and rear mirror at night. It will be dark

Your car does NOT use traditional automatic, so it should not be selecting rather, it uses a belt to drive on a conical cylinder. The shift feel is simulated.


That said, check your gear socket harness if it's broken or has been chewed by rats, or rusted, check pins in the gear if it's broken or rusted and if none, replace the transmission speed sensor. If you do and e no work, plan for a replacement of transmission.
