You need to check your brake lights, If they're all burnt, it can cause it.
Also your brake switch may be defective. If you check it and it's fine, have a technician che k that gear selector.

My alternator belt normally cuts. I was told that my belt adjuster for was faulty. I replaced the adjuster yet the belt still cuts.
The mechanic said I should buy a shorter belt I bought it cut. He said I should a longer one I bought still cut.
The mechanic has checked all the pulleys are ok and they aligned.
What could really be the cause of this issue?
The car is Honda Civic 06

Have another better qualified technician check it thrn buy Genuine V belt.

I just finished changing the oil pump of this car as advised by the mechanic, still I’m still having the oil alert pop up. I personally think it’s the oil sensor but I told the mechanic about this and he said it’s the pump, now I’ve changed the pump but the issue still persists. Too many things already done on the car, too many things tampered with for one to advise you remotely. Get a highly competent technician to go thru the car be very honest and open with him and do not try to cheap out on any repairs.

Please i have been using Honda Engine Oil 5W-30 for my car and which has been working very fine altoght after 5000Km it short a little.

The last time i serviced, the oil was not available so i used Hardex 5W-30, i noticed i hvae not gotten to 1500km and the oil has so short is at the middle of the dip stick which is very unsual. The car is not smoking.

What could be wrong?

Is the oil bad or not fit for the car..

Any recommendations please

Check for oil leaks around the engine, replace PCV valve, if still oil depletion still occurs, revert back to honda 5W30

Hello, I have Mazda CX9 2009 Model. The car uses fuel excessively and the Steering is difficult to turn when the car is put in reverse.

Hi good day, pls I drive Hyundai Elantra 2010 model.. lately, it keeps coming out of gear while driving and sometimes it just goes off..my mechanic says it's gear oil shortage but since we changed the gear oil and top it, I noticed that oil keep dropping from under the car, and the car still continues to come out of gear while driving..

I believe your transmission is on its way out. Replace it and use genuine approved Hyundai transmission fluid

even 2014 corolla and above run on cvt. It gives better fuel economy. Just do routine maintenance. I see a lot of corolla being sold in future as Nigerians are not maintenance conscious. They will run these cvts without changing fluid. When it becomes problematic, they run ATF in them and finish them up.

Those cars have huge aftermarket support for parts and also OEM aren't too difficult to come by, but not as common as Japanese.
It's a good car, they're not too bad, people who had owned them have enjoyed them. I know 3 people who owned them in the past. I don't know about other mechanic, but I can fix them.

After fixing P0141 ( I changed the sensor and everything seems fine). After some days, P1172 came on and refused to go. My fuel is going

Also P2184 is still there with double cell radiator. (How it was bought from the owner)

So between p2184 and p1172 who they chop my fuel? Honda Accord DC.

Hello bro, please be very careful with hiring a mechanic. They often give a signal to the seller for a kick back from the deal and will not give a fair assessment.

Ask the dealer for the custom papers so that you know when the car was imported. Copy the VIN of the car and run a background check on the car to confirm the history.

It's not about me being a car technician, but this generalist statement is wrong. Yes there are bad eggs in this trade but there are equally very honest people doing the business with high-level of integrity.
