Good morning . I just checked my miles per gallon meter. It shows that my car does 18.3mpg. Is this good or bad . Is this fuel consumption good or bad ?

NB : It's a 2012 Toyota Camry 4 cyl

My trafficator stopped working. I'm sure its not the bulb because the hazard lights still work when turned on but the normal pointer lights don't work when turned on.

The power outlet also has stopped working. I plugged in a Bluetooth device but it didn't work.

Took the car to a Rewire but he said it's not from the fuse box.

Any advice?

A lot of things can cause it, your car needs to be checked by a competent technician. Pls stop driving the car on highways at such speeds to avoid accidents.

The highlander was not built for speed oo maka ndi speed demons out there. But the V6 can keep pace with just about any regular SUV out there and can outpace most sedans with its powerful 2GR engine (the V6 versions)

This happened on January 3rd.

I took one 2009 highlander sport. I went to drop one of my younger ones in Benin from Ondo( He was to go to Bayelsa). I took off as early as 4am. On my way back, Na so I begin dey race with this Mercedes GLA250 2015. Omo the guy kept me chasing him at 180kmph. My Car was like a feather. I later lost the guy when we got to Showboy in Ore.

Except your car was very sick or a 4 cylinder and fully loaded with people and cargo, that GLA250 can't outpace a 2009 highlander sports V6 from 0-180km/h where it electronic speed limiter kicks in. Yes, the GLA is lighter, by approximately 500kg, but the highlander is more powerful and equally stable on speed (the unit you drove has bad suspension).

In all, I highly advise you drive carefully.

@Kingreign I greet you specially. Please my car "engine maintenance required" light, flashes exactly 7 times when I turn the car on. I serviced my car 2 weeks ago changed oil and filter with the recommended oil weight. I used nordkapp 0W20. And I set my mileage counter trip A and B back to zero after servicing.

It's a 2012 Camry.

Park it overnight and the next morning ,battery Is dead.
Have changed batteries multiple times to no avail.
Someone is telling me headlight relay bla bla bla but I really doubt it and don't want to waste money on trial and error.

I currently have a Lexus ES350 '08 and where I live has terrible roads, My front and back bumpers look haggard, they always hit the floor and I am tired of it. So I am thinking of getting an SUV, but I am torn between Ford Explorer 2013 Limited and Mercedes Benz GLK 350 2011 both are Toks. I just want a car with serious clearance and that is moderately easy to maintain(I have heard lots of horror stories about Ford and even Benz sef).
Oh and if you have any better option apart from these two, I'll appreciate. The budget is 8-10M

Avoid that ford.
The benz isn't bad, but why not do a Toyota Highlander or a venza or a Lexus RX350?

Factors to consider:

I live in abuja and stay in town,the probability of me driving to an untareed road is low

I’m considering 2014 Elantra or Sonata…. But I keep hearing they’re not reliable.

Based on the above points what’s the best car you would advice I get.

Go for an elantra, civic or corolla. For the price, it's not bad, but you may need yo up your budget a bit.

I use camry 2007 LE, when I returned from church yesterday and parked my car without any issue. Only to noticed later in the day when I wanted to go out that the drive gear doesn't move forward, it was like everything was on reverse mode. I had to switch off the engine, waited few minutes and switched it on again but was surprised the kick or engine did not make a sound and other electrical functions like headlamps, dashboard and radiator fan works.

Please I need urgent help, am in Owerri.

Whenever I service my car I do use good 5months before I start noticing any shortage in oil though I don’t travel only go to work and come back. Then recently due to some family stuff hv been traveling a lot this is the second time in space of 4 or 5 weeks I will be changing the oil. I first thought it was fake Mobil, I changed to hardex gold in 2 weeks after changing to hardex the oil level has almost gotten to the second line though hv been traveling a lot recently . Mechanic checked and said there was no leakage that it’s the way spider was built, it consumes a lot of oil. Please I need your opinions guys. Thanks

Dear All,

Please I need advice with my vehicle. For about three days now, I've been experiencing inconsistent gear selection with my 07 Honda Civic.

Most times it moves and select automatically, and at times the gear struggles for about a minute or thereabout before switching to the next gear.

It's seriously shorting coolant, has a consistent misfire in cylinder 2 and white smoke emits from the exhaust pipe.

I suspect it needs an head gasket job.

Any suggestions?
