Re-check ALL engine and transmission mounts. Also, ensure you use genuine brand new or correct tokunbo mounts.

Please I drive a corrola 2005/2006, but it has been giving issue. It usually goes off when I am accelerating and might not start again after sometime. First of all, it will not accelerate and then it will just stop.

Note:
I have changed plugs, serviced noozle and also changed fuel pump.

This problem still remains. All the mechanic I have met do not have solutions to it, and even car electricians too are also confused.

Please help me so that I can use the car without this frustration.

Your transmission requires type WS. I advise folks to change ATF every 30k miles or 2 years

My Honda Accord 07 doesn't revv beyond 3000rpm. Again if I step on the clutch pedal forcefully for fast acceleration, the car will be jerking and when I release my foot, car drives fine if I press pedal gently.

Cars idles fine. No jerking while idle only jerks when I forcefully step hard on the pedal. What could likely be the challenge?

P0420 needs a tokunbo or genuine brand new catalytic converter or you go the cheaper route of installing a spacer.

The IAT sensor is bad if the shut down the engine after clearing, you can as well check for broken wires around the harness.

Most times, that IAT sensor fails because of clogged intake air cleaner which starves the sensor of adequate cold air supply.

How did you find out this?
Isn’t your car drive train meant to get considerably hot due to friction and heat?
Does it in anyway affect the car drivability?

Good morning all car enthusiasts in this great section. Kindly proffer solution to my challenge.

BRIEF BACKGROUND
I drive Benz C180 Kompressor (2004), Auto. The car is very okay and I have zero complain since purchased. However, on the dashboard recently it advises me the oil is due for change. I relayed call to previous owner and he told me the oil type he used whenever he wanna do oil change. I bought it and called my mecho guy last week so we can change it. I told him to change both oil and fuel filters alongside the oil change.

Immediately everything was fixed by the mecho guy, I entered the car and drove off. When I covered about 3km distance from the mecho, I branched filling station for fueling. Immediately after fueling, I started the car and it failed to select gear. What? I kick again and the issue persist. I call the mecho guy and told me to remove battery and restart again, same thing. I called my friends that's more knowledgeable in cars than I do, they said engine oil and gear has no correlation that it is just a con-incident. They advised to contact rewire. I manage the car to the rewire because if I leave the car to cool like 5minutes, it will enter gear 1 but will dis-engage in about 40 seconds drive, that's how I took it there.

The rewire guy examined and recommend me to change transmission oil. I call the previous owner to advice on type of transmission oil, he said he couldn't remember the one he used last. I call my friends and they adviced Mobil ATF 220. I gave the rewire guy the money and bought 5 litres (1 litre x 5). After that, it selects perfectly.

THE ISSUE...
(1) Days after gear oil change, I discover accelerator failure I.E. Throttle will just fail to press when on motion, turning steering, entering gallop or climbing hill. I took it to rewire again, he did some things there and told me it won't occur again, but unfortunately after about 30mins I left him, it surfaces again and am battling till now

(2) Four days ago, I discovered that once I covered about 50km (am not referring to speed here), the gear will be making a squeaking noise and few minutes after that noise, it won't select gear again except "Park", but if I leave it like 2 minutes and restart, it will pick and select accurately. This is giving me a serious headache. The squeaking noise started after about 12 days I change the transmission oil. So, it drove well in the first 12 days

Please, what can cause these two malfunctions?

I scanned and got p0113 code intake air temperature sensor 1 high.
I have cleared it.
But the car is just off immediately after start

Replace IAT sensor and Air intake cleaner.

NB: pls ensure your ECM and IAT wiring harness isn’t compromised and when replacing the sensor, ensure a good tokunbo part or brand new part is used.

You need a competent technician to handle that vehicle as it’s engine is a complex type.

On Feb 24th precisely, my serpentine belt cut. I called my mechanic and he sent his boy. He claimed he was too busy to come. Getting the right belt was quite difficult for the boy since the old one really shredded. First one he got was too small to fix. Second one was too big. Finally got one that sized it and the car started. But ever since then sometimes my car battery fails to start my car till I borrow someone's battery. It has happened like four times since then. I want to rule out alternator cause I believe once u start a car and remove the battery head, if the alternator is bad, the car will go off. Mine does not go off till i put my battery back. And whenever i jump-start using someone else battery, i can use it up to two weeks of daily driving before the next incident.
What prompted me to write this was that stuff embarrassed me yesterday. I escorted my friend to his introduction. I was parked somewhere waiting for him to drive up and meet me and we start going. When he came, my car refused to start. Car I drove out from the house. My battery is 75amps. He brought out his own battery which was 65amps and it couldn't start my car. I had to beg a sienna transport driver and immediately I put his battery my car started immediately and I paid 2k. We got to the venue, I switched off the car and switched it on, e no gree start again. We went if for what we came. The introduction was a long one. We came out 3 hours later and the car started one hand. I got home, parked it and later started it and it started immediately too. So what could be wrong? Is my battery bad? 7th of may will make it one year i bought the battery. I have started seeing thread in the new belt that was fixed on Feb 24th. It was since this belt was fixed I started experiencing this.
I have no OBD codes. I scan my car frequently with my scanner. If my car is on and I connect my scanner, the battery voltage hovers around 13.5 to 14 volts.

Right now I am contemplating should I buy a new battery? But I feel one year is too small for my battery to have issues. Should I change that serpentine belt?
Or it the fault from my battery connector cable?
I need professional advise.

Prior to the shredding of your previous belt, was your car experiencing battery drain and startability issue?
If yes, you need to probe further to find the fault, if no, have the alternator voltage checked when car is running on idle with:
1. Battery voltage before starting of vehicle,
2. one terminal disconnected,
3. both battery terminal connected,
4. battery terminals connected and all electrical loads turned on
5. Battery voltage after engine is turned off and terminals disconnected for 1 hr.

Use a digital multimeter with its dial at 20V and test then revert back with the voltage readings at the above tests.
