My own case is frustrating, I did my medicals for the canadian embassy on the 28th of August, 2013 at the consultant practice. I got a call from the consultant practice(dr Ojo) saying that Paris asked for a repeat chest X-ray after a week and 3 days. I did the repeat on the 9th of September, 2013 and up until now, the embassy still claims not to have gotten the report from Paris. The embassy has even sent a reminder which Paris has responded to saying they have seen the medicals and are working on it...please what exactly are they working on and it is taking too long...my school deadline for fall session has elapsed, the school gave me till 27th sept. is there anyone in my kind of situation? Abeg is there anyone in a similar situation

femianiyi: I'm sorry, for sharing the update on my application with the forum this late.
Applied 9th may for sept fall admission with full tuition paid and with sponsor's closing balance of 8m. Submitted through maple and my package was returned after 19 weeks with the reason below

" You have not satisfy me that you have enough money to pay your tuition and living expenses when you get to canada and to return to your home country after your studies"

I submitted the telex copy of my payment alongside with my application while am expecting the school receipt, the school receipt came a week after my application was submitted and immediately i informed my agent, they told me to hold on with the receipt till i'm called for medicals. Medics call never came, and my receipt was not submitted as additional document. This i think contributed to my refusal. Though have defer my admission till 2014 fall, so i', good to reapply next year. This time around i can't afford to take any chances. Best of lucks, to winter medics and trv hopefuls

Am wondering why one wld pay for accommodation for a year dat they haven't seen.what if u end up not liking it.even if u get to see a picture of it...u might not like the neighbourhood. .well, its cannny all the neighbourhoods suppose make sense..lol.but what if one pays for a month or two then afterwards u can search for accomodation ursef and then u can pay for 2years if u like..anyways what do i know ...lol am just saying. .anything embassy tell u to do just do before them change their minds. .lool

And have not being invited for medicals, June 4th applicant but was told to get a new start date, However I paid my full tuition fee but have not paid for accommodation, I deferred the admission till sept. 2014 cox they do not run the program in January. Now the school said they can only issue me Sept 2014 LOA next year and I can only apply for sept. accommodation next yr.Meanwhile my application is still being processed. I requested for a letter from the school to present to the embassy why it would not be issued, their reason is that they do not know the program fee( post graduate cert.) by next yr. I am yet to receiving a reply from the school for the official letter requested. the printed responds from the school had been submitted to the embassy together along side with my fee receipt. Has anybody had or seen someone with similar situation. Can they finalize my visa against next yr, or will they ask me to withdraw and reapply when the offer comes?. WAHALA FULL THIS LIFE WEY WE DEY OOO. CANADA EMBASSY free me .

A lot of people here are in the same situation. ..There is no need to panic, I suggest u just need to hear from the embassy first. .at least u ve agreed to chill until next fall . Sometimes is best to know what the embassy has to say about ur application before making any other move. God forbid if they deny u,at least u no where ur fault is from and reapply again.. if they call u for medicals, good. ...so its a win win for u. But u can still be brave like some people here and withdraw ur application and move straight online route. .but I'd advise u chill cos u'l soon be called for ur medicals.

we ve discussed and analysed this issue since na.....just read through the last two or three pages behind.
