50 eminent nigerians led by prof Ben Nwabueze have approached the federal high court in Abuja, asking it to declare the increase in fuel price from N65 to N97 as announced by the federal government on January 15 this year as being unlawful, null and void.

in all his greatness, nigeria does not have a standard police force, we have no independent and efficient judiciary, we have no light, no water, no roads, we have an educational system that cannot accommodate even the children of chairmen of local govt areas talk less of commissioners and ministers, we have no security. we don't have an airline, no single multinational company apart from those stealing our oil.

Well, i haven't seen my girl in 4months. Last week, i've been assuring her i'll suprise her. This morning, i went to the main road in order to have d effect of movin cars. I called and asked where to alight at abuja and which cab to board to her place after that. She was so happy. Around 11am, i asked her to meet me at the car park. When she got there she called only to realise the truth. She was so sad and angry i had to pacify her by promising a visit this week. I'm already cooking up lies to be absent from office from weds to sunday.
I wish i never fooled her, now i'll be spending almost 50k in travellin and some feeding.. she vehemently refused a cash gift of almost half of that.. Damn!!
