Hello, house. Please, can someone enlighten me? Are there more than one type of work permit for Norway? Is the work permit for factory worker (unskilled) the same as the one that will be issued for a Tech (skilled) person. Also, if one gets an unskilled work from Nigeria, can the person change occupation after some time in Norway? An agent is offering a factory job with possibilities of PR after 3 year, but from my research i can see that you need a skilled job to qualify for the work permit. Pls any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

And finally, today I got my TRV...
Its the lords doing and its marvellous in my sight.
I'm so grateful to this thread. Learnt so much despite d fact dat I had submitted before I found it out.


Applied 24th May
Applied as an HOUSEWIFE.
Applied with a lump sum deposit a day to submission.( Good account turnover prior to d deposit)
Medicals- 17th Sept
Further medicals- 4th, Nov
Trv issued- 3rd Jan.

My husband was my sole sponsor.
All Supporting doc were his.


All required forms, family composition form etc
Bank draft
Letter of acceptance
Police clearance cert
University transcripts
Birth certificates(husband's, daughter's and mine)
Landed Properties evaluation
Tax clearance certificates
SOA- 8.5 million.(Savings account)
Company account- 30million
Cash domicilliary account- 33,000 dols.
company. Cert of reg. CO2 and CO7
Audited company's report.
Affidavit of support by husband
Sponsorship letter signed by company's board of Directors.

Management certifications.
Passports showing Travel history.
Lots of prayers( I was discouraged @ some point)


My interviews were more or less hot debates to convince the VO's on
Purpose of visit
My home ties
And that I would return after my studies.

Looking back, I'm grateful for d interviews.



ADVICE.
Never give up in ur pursuit for success.
Challenges, obstacles might rear dier ugly heads, embrace with all boldness. It makes u stronger and refined.
My trv is a testimony to d glory of God.
Pls, always turn in ur application well ahead of time.
Never u tender fake document, if found out, u might be banned for a min of 2yrs without you being aware of their decision.
Overall, never u forget the place of prayers.
May God crown our efforts with success.

God is not limited by what we have in mind for ourselves. His plan is so much bigger. God will perfect your miracle soon. I suggest you either apply for a post graduate diploma and have your proposed undergraduate admission. Use the post graduate diploma for your visa processing then you can make a switch when you get to Canada. However if you think that would be stressful try work on your statement of purpose. linus27: I landed in lagos today from ondo state planing to storm cdch tomorrow, as I got to ojota I got a call from a lady from the embassy telling me that I should pay one year tuition,after one month that have done medics I thought I will scale through that and get my trv well I thank God.My ogas in the house this stage of mine is very critical considering the recent denial news we are reading I want this denial to stop in my own time,so carefully guide me on how to pay my tuition oo ,na beg I dey beg o .I never see anybody going to university of new brunswick saint johns or na only me dey go the place for the whole Nigeria ni? Good development .At this point, u need to act fast to avoid unnecessary delay. Try not to exceed the time frame advised by CDHC. No negotiations with tuition but for accommodation both ideas u got will work as long as u have a mail from the school to back up the claim with a good letter of explanation written by you to the VO . All the best.

I did not include any landed document as home ties. I merely stated in my SOP that I am already entitled to a leave of absence at my work place and I intend to apply once I have obtained the visa. I also stated that my job is so demanding and I need self/ career development to be relevant . A self explanatory SOP will strengthen your application. it should reflect relevance of ur intended course of study to you and Nigeria. By so I believe the VO will not doubt ur return after study.
Finally,just like Chrigo stressed, the God factor can not be over-emphasized. Prayer is the key.

I got my trv today after waiting for four hours. If you have fulfilled all requirements and on the waiting list pls storm. The VO said my documents would have been dispatched if I had included another return courier envelope. I know say all na format, she was merely trying to justify their lack of feedback. In all I give glory to God. He made it happen.

I told him why proof of english should be waved for me,that all my education has been in english. He said I don't need proof once my educatn was in english. He also told me that he has personally received my application and that it will be reviewed soon. Thanks a lot kitty!
