lynxnoon:I sure will. thanks. |
Hello All I got a friend who has an HTC DESIRE HD. He tried to upgrade the OS but the process wasn't completed (i suspect due to insufficient data). Problem now is the phone does not start again, or rather doesn't go beyond the "quietly brilliant htc" stage. I believe the boot code may have been erased during the process of upgrade. Don't know if anyone in the house has got a solution to this. thanks. |
iT'S actually really cool stuff, Imagine Madiba bringing out money from his pocket and just looks at this face smiling? Or they ask him for a passport photograph and he pulls out 50 bucks, really cooooooool |

i think the OP and Jesoul might be the only ones who have really listened carefully to Christian Rap/Contemporary in this thread. ANd i think you should watch their videos too and see them praying. Yes, there are those who are just doing business but there are also those whose message is pure and real and deep. |
WELL, I PERSONALLY DO NOT THINK MIDDLE EAST WARS HAVE TO DO WITH RELIGION AS MUCH AS RACE. If arabs were communists, i don't think there'll be much difference. So i think we stop our own religious debate Therefore, in answering the question, i would say, If you are a small country surrounded by enemies who publicly announce regularly that they desire to wipe you out, then your best bet is to constistently seek to have an edge militarily over the enemies and if you think attacking is the best/only way of defence in ensuring your survival,it's difficult to convince such a country to back down. That Said, I firmly believe that God doesn't want Wars. |
I so much believe that Ghanaians have learnt their lessons from what happened to them that Wednesday night, after the match. What I know is that we don't boast in ourselves but in the finished worked of God. The question is, have they now realized how much they needed God more, for everything. When Coach Tetteh involved the man of God TB Joshua for their successful U20 qualifying match, it wasn't as if the coach could not pray on his own, he prayed and also involved men of God for more intervention. Now every of your News papers in Ghana (to quote little) said before the AFCON 2012 that, "Why would they contact TB Joshua?" "TB Joshua wants to take glory" "Black star has enough practice and are ready for any country; we need no man of God" “What does TB Joshua has to do with football?” All sort of nonsense. Are we fighting God? It is not until you speak against God physically that you are against Him but even by speaking against His anointed one you are fighting God. Please let us always be careful of what we say especially to men of God. Remember we say men of God and not men of men. "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come." Matthew 12:32 I rest my word here. Think for yourself what would have happened if they had won? I am not against you but God is always with His anointed one. He is always their defender.
GOd will deliver you people from Idol worship. HOW would the bolded constitute "speaking AGAINST God in any form? |
GeneralGEJ:This your kind of joke, no try am in real life o. just someone is foolish just like that !!! |
@Kobo I don't think you are correct. the only issue i think he has reacted to based on personal feelings is Bola Ige's case. As for the MEND, he wasn't a spokesman for them o. it was a time where MEND felt they needed someone who had integrity and was not bought and paid for by the FG that they got the man. REmember when Lagos Jetty was bombed and all 'em southwest were issuing empty warnings left and right, Twas Kongi who reasoned (quite correctly too) that the attack was on NIgeria and not the Yoruba NAtion. |
Kobojunkie:Well, I used to feel same way about Gani, when he died, i began to miss him. we must just understand that these guys aren't perfect despite what most people hold them to be. And to an extent, i agree with him. the 1999 constitution is technically "not constitutional" because it was not drafted by a people's government. Any constitution must be drafted by an assembly of ALL the people's representatives. Plus, this is just a strategy of forcing an SNC. |
EATING IN THE OFFICE.*especially white rice and stew from all 'em green food flasks* ![]() |
i am begging them to just try it ;d ;d ;d ;d |
I IMAGINE NOBODY REGULATES MEDIA HOUSES IN NIGERIA. ELSE GLOBAL NEWS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN SEVERAL TIMES OVER. JUST FROM THEIR HEADLINES, YOU'D KNOW THEY ARE IRRESPONSIBLE JOURNALISTS TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK SALE. ![]() |
Not that obadiah. the one that went to find Elijah. Ahab's Aide. Politics is dirty today, Using your sewer example, if YOu pour an Oceanful of water in a sewer, that sewer will be clean. YOu cannot honestly tell me that GOD does not want his children to partake in government or politics. Even in Nigeria, there are still Christians politicians, it's just that they are sidelined because of their faith and so you do not see them and just believe everybody is a bad person. |
I opened this thread AFTER nothing came out of my posting in FEEDBACK,COMMENTS AND COMPLAINTS thread. It was not a complaint; and i did not abuse you in anyway. |
i don't think you are right. 'in the old days', everybody practised a single religion, operated under same/similar idealogies; today we are secular in every sense of it.being a leader (political) is a good thing; Nehemiah, Obadiah (and Philemon probably) did so in their days and by the tenets of democracy today, you must canvass for people's vote. i do believe that the reason politics is corrupt today is because good people have continually stayed away,If 50 percent of Christians in Nigeria participate actively in politics, you think things won't change? |
buzugee:are you saying the position of government leadership should exclude pastors? since the only way to attain office is by politics? SO Christians should not contest? should they vote? ![]() |
@OP Certain offices in ANy land are regarded as dignified whether the occupant has dignity or not. also All holders of such offices, because of the fact that they superintend over several other serious minded people, are expected to portray certain characteristics which include, honour, gravity and properness. Wearing a gown that'll be exquisitely appropriate for a night party to sign a document of national importance does not show that that occupant has any of those characteristics, or even the most basic of all, common sense! and don't lemme even start on the cultural part of it |
Pastor Kun, i guess you've had very bad experience with some MOGs. that doesn't make tithing wrong; and think tee jay's explanation is quite clear |
Joagbaje:I'm not sure i get your point. @OP GOD bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've been meaning to write on this topic and haven't just been serious to put pen to paper. the second i wanted to address was the popular "JUDGE NOT" on NL. |
and five years from now, they'll be demanding quota for NNPC employment ![]() |
uche13:sorry o. could you pls check this thread and see if you can do something as per Odunnu's suggestion. thanks. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-856913.0.html |
aight. good point. fact is i'm not a lawyer (the conventional type anyway) but i just felt it could do a lot of good. Will contact some users, say lawyer, if they can make input. |
A day after D-Day, the joke on Twitter, Facebook and online (the essential scourge of our time) was that Dele Momodu got only one vote at the polling booth in his ward, and that even his wife who followed him to the polling booth voted for someone else - Goodluck Jonathan, most probably. But he has trudged on since then like a man of faith, proclaiming his undying faith in Nigeria.@ baba_Eleko, i think i have a sufficient understanding of english language; and in this context, RA has done nothing to diminish MRs Moji, he merely reported a fact;it was truly circulated in several media. HE didn't drag the woman in any mud. And for a man claiming that another person took things personal, DM should be expected to stay above the fray instead of asking whether the TWO WIVES of RA voted GEJ. I'm not a GEJ or RA fan, but the man, as far as this article is concerned, has done nothing wrong! and as i said earlier, WE've seen the segun adeniyis in govt, it is easier to run the government with your mouth when you are out of it than when you are actually holding the reins. |
c'mon. that wasn't about DM's wife and HE knows that; he's just cashing in on that. Reuben was slamming the guy's silly prez ambition and nothing more. |
I LIKE THAT REUBEN ABATI RESPONDS ON ISSUES. IT INDICATES A LISTENING ADVISER TO GOVT. I DON'T THINK THE MAN HAS CHANGED MUCH, ONE ONLY NEEDS TO BE IN GOVT SOMETIMES BEFORE YOU CAN TRULY KNOW WHASSUP; HE'S COMPETING WITH THE IJAW PEOPLE SURROUNDING HIS BOSS, OLD AND NEW FRIENDS OF GEJ, HENCE HE MIGHT NOT REALLY HAVE THE EARS OF THE PRESIDENT AS ONE WILL EXPECT. AS FOR DELE MOMODU, WE HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN WHAT HE IS, PURE BOOT LICKING SYCOPHANT. *using style to tell us abati has two wives, mschheeeeew* |
O my goodness

. It is both so painful and deeply traumatising but i thank God for everything.
