Rather than build a pointless rail road to somewhere in Niger Republic why not re-generate the west African coast by building a fast train from Lagos to Accra of course stoping at both Cotonou and Lome. |
There should be a fast railway link between Lagos and Accra. One should be able to work in Lagos and live in Accra and vice versa? |
Those whom the gods want to destroy they first make mad. Daddy Freeze is in his final macabre dance of death. |
Who build this gada? Dino |
The house has the right to amend the constitution. |
If there is no money in the centre every state managing there resources, why is Atiku interested in going to the centre?? Abeg my People can you see that this Atiku na 419? ![]() |
The only people the oba of Lagos respect are Tinubu & Ambo de. They are the ones greasing his palms. |
Morrocco is North West Africa. The only country bw Morrocco & West Africa is Mauritania. Mauritania has recently re-joined ECOWAS that is why her president was in Banjul during d Jammal -Barrow power tussle. So Morrocco basically jon d Economic Community of North West African States which they are a member by way of proxy & geography. |
Where is d Nigerian Air forcentre when d un-inbiquouse boko haram took over a town in Yobe State. ![]() |
How can igbo's have more population than yoruba when d 20 biggest towns in d 1950's by population 18, where in in d sw. ![]() |
If I had 1 barrel of oil last month I will get $40 . But today I will get $ 49.00 is it not common sense to tie our currency to products especially in our case in Nigeria price of a barrel of oil. ![]() |
How come the Ghanian cedis and the South African Rand are not fallen like Nigerian Naira. There is something fundermentally wrong with this govt and her policy. Naira today is 1$ = 414 Naira!!!! Haba ![]() |
If we have tied our currency into the price of a barrel of oil our currency will now be trading at $49.00 from a low $28.00 a year ago. ![]() |
Tinapa is meant to be a shopping entretainment and tourist experience. Those that cannot get unto d shop ladder will play other roles as waiters, tour guides and shop assistant which is far more better than hawking. |
Aketi has never lost a dime in politics. Meanwhile Tinubu lost millions backing Aketi. No one backs a dying horse to win a race. So Mr Aketi should just hold his fire. |
Then what happens to d billions wasted in building Tinapa. If everyone were to hawk nobody will hire those shops and d government will obviously have poured water down a draining pipe. If this bill see d light of day then common road side stall will find it difficult to operate. |
Seems we now condone and encourage fornication in Nigeria when we should be bringing out a bigger bu-la-la?? I suppose in Nigeria today people are honoured for decadence, d other day a drug dealer executed in Indonesia was given a hero's burial in Anambra state. ![]() |
On a theoretical sense Jegede should win. Because d 2 biggest towns in Ondo State , Ondo & Akure are in d central zone . While Jegede is from Akure , Mimiko is from Ondo town. Does that transfer into victory I will say no on a personal note because Mimiko has being an abysmal failure. I might be wrong thus. |
A warning to other Governors who would rather spend d people's money on frivolity than pay the workers / cum Pensioners their salaries or pension to take note. Even d Good Book says ( the holy bible says a worker is worthy of his pay ) So Governors pay your workers. It is better to sack your workers and have a lean force than have a huge civil servants without paying them. By not paying them u are opening yourselves to unmeasurable cause from d victims. |
If he is getting $8000 a month in England that salary attracts a 40 % tax . Nigeria Government should do the necessary by collecting their 40 % tax. Unfortunately I know Nigeria is a generous country he is probably taken d whole lot free. Secondly, who owns d hotel? It is obsene to pay an expatriate that kind of money when there are many graduates that can do d job for less or better still head-hunt good Nigerian Managers from places like Eko HolI day Inn or Transcorp Nicolas Noga in Abuja. |
There is no global economy slow down . There is only product economy slow down. Countries that rely so much on there exported products are d victims of d so called global economy melt down. The western nations are still producing, taxing and delivery d benefits of democracy to their people. |
THIS HELIPCOPTER AT $45 MILLION DOLLARS A PIECE IS CHEAP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. But this goverement would rather spend money on a POINTLESS jamboree looking for oil in the Lake Chad and Benue trough costing the tax payers some $500 million dollars. That amount will buy 10 of these beast and no nation in Africa will be able to touch us, if we can buy 10 more of these wonderful machines . I hope they find that oil or else, I no go talk wetin I go do ![]() |
k nowAll: If I call u mumu now, dem go ban me. angryJust because you can't make a dime during this economic crisis does not mean other people are not making a killing. Even Nigeria as a nation the money shared in July 2016 is unprecedented it surpasses any amount shared when oil was trading at $120.00 per gallon. The simple reasons why there is an upsurge in govt takings is because of the stringet measures President Buhari has put in place. Measures such as the single treasury account , to nipping in the bud ghost workers plus the added zeal and enthusiasm in the fight against corruption. |
THOSE JUNK INTERNET MEDIA - I thought they say she is in coma that she is 1/4 to die, na wah for junk jornalism in Nigeria ! |
Lagos is a state it has indigenes. It can never be FCT which on paper is suppose to be a neutral place for all Nigerians. All we urge d FG is to maintain their assets in d state. Shikena!!! |
True that we would soon overtake them if we have not already. Because what u pay for petrol at December 2015 is not what u pay now. So despite devaluation the Naira generated into d coffers of government is more than what it was in December 2015. I remember my pastor David Oyedopo said something that made me start thinking, he said his church was richer, more resourceful now that d exchange rate was 1 to 160 then than when it was 1 to 1 in the d early 1980's. So devaluation is not d end of d world. |
The Court of Apeal has knowingly or unknowingly set up some sort of procedural precedence that would almost be difficult for d Supreme Court to divulged from. The Supreme Court is a traditional Court it would almost always want to take d stance of proceedings adopted in d Court of Apeal except in very rare circumstances. The Supreme Court would certainly want most cases to end in d Court of Apeal without subverting or compromising that Court's authority. Except in very high profile poltical cases where d Supreme Court had to reluctantly over turned d decision of d Court of Apeal. The Court of Apeal during d Gubernatorial proceedings in d South-South exhibited and pandered to sentimentality. Those cases like d Gubernatorial elections of d South-South Governors. These decisions were based on a balanice of probability not circumstantial and definitely not based on sentimentality. Every Tom and Dick and even Harry knew d PDP was very strong in d South-South so it would have being inconcievable , foolhardy and judicial recklessness for d Supreme Court to toe d line of partisanship in face of glaring public knowledge. The APC would have needed to come out with a prima facia case or a smoking gun for d Supreme Court to back them. Circumstantial or hearsay would not hold water. Especially not in d face of an outright boycott in election proceedings by APC in Rivers state. |
I think I agree with KPMG on this one. The GDP in Nigeria would have gone up even though we have devaluation. The Naira receipts in d coffers of government has gone up as d price of petrol within Nigeria has gone up from N86.00 to N145.00 so this will in way cushion the impact of d devaluation. Goods and services has also gone up so is tax recipets from d FIRS. So KPMG can't be too far from d truth. |
Declare Republic face treason- police. So the one they have being doing all this while bombing pipe lines they deserve handshake abi. Our police are funny with their declarations at times. So bombing of pipelines no be treason. ![]() |
That was what I was going to ask as it seems that the main appeal has not been overturned. What seems to be overturned was the issue of the certificate or return. I'm no Lawyer but that's how I see it. If the main judgement removing Ikpeazu has not yet been overruled, then there is nothing for Ikpeazus supporters to rejoice aboutThe court appeal can only look at a case from judgments, rulings and prouncement of a high court judge. "Since the High Court Judge in question " has turn the law on its head" by listening and dabbling into a case that he is not enpowered to revisit after given a judgment, it bolds well for the Apeal Court to leave the determination of the substantive suit to the Court of last resort which is th Supreme Court, assuming the Court of Apeal was the Court of last resort the substantive case would surely take a looking at. |
Many OVI haters are already on their way to the emergency room from heart-attack!! I TOLD THEM THAT THEY SHOULD ADVICE UCHE TO FACE HIS EFCC CASES AND STOP WASTING MONEY, THEY WERE CALLING ME NAMES AND ABUSING ME. I WARNED UCHE TO DESIST FROM WASTING HIS MONEY BECAUSE HE WILL END UP LIKE EMEKA OFFOR --- BROKE LIKE A CHURCH RAT. cool cool cool cool cool cool coolIt is not over untill the fat lady sings so they say. The substantive case has not being heard hence sheath your celebrative swords until the final judgement in the Supreme Court has being made. Be rest assured the Supreme Court will look at all aspects of the case especially the substantive issue of fraud and if Mr Ikpeazu is found wanton he would be sacked. So make una go pray hard. |
The substantive issues in the case might be dealt with in the Supreme Court provided there are no infringement in law processes. |
