1. Her question is for her to figure out for herself.

2. Marriage has never been by force. Divorce has always been an option in marriage, so attempting to force a man who no longer wishes to be bound to a woman to stay bound to her impinges on his right.

3. I believe that the woman is expected to get a share of the marital income as regular compensation for her contribution — labor and time — to the marriage. If she were denied this amount regularly throughout the marriage, she could always claim financial abuse by her husband and then proceed to have him the courts order him to refund her for all of her time and efforts in the marriage.

Also, there was never really a law against women gaining financial independence before marriage, so...yeah... her issues to deal with.

4. He has the right to do so.

If she had used her brain during that marriage, she would have had only the number of kids she was sure she would be able to adequately raise, even without the man. But she didn't do any of that, and now she cannot raise all the kids she birthed. What she can do is demand that the judge give the man full custody of the children until she is eventually able to home herself and gain shared custody of her children.
