Preciousgirl: Luke 21:25-28 [25]“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; [26]men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. [27]Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. [28]Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” ... kppo: @topic It's a little of both for me. I'm looking forward to Jesus' return but at the same time, I'm a little scared of how it will be and hoping that whenever He comes I will be prepared. I try to live ready for His imminent return but sometimes it just feels as though the world won't end and things will just continue as they always have. Lord help me. Maranatha! Verse 27 speaks of events that took place almost 2000 years ago, events that culminated in the destruction of the land of Jerusalem and Judaeh. So, why are you Christians still waiting for it to take place? The people it was meant to happen to already welcomed it and moved forward from it since then— those of them that survived. So, why are you Christians expecting this same past to be your future? |

He has called and sent messages apologizing for what happened many years ago. I don't pick his calls and I don't reply his msgs Either. I've tried to let the past go, but I can't. I was deeply hurt by people that should love me, I was never loved as a child and somehow, it had a psychological and mental impact on me. I lost all confidence in humanity. I see people as wicked. I concluded that since I don't have parents, I'm just the only one left in this entire world. It is me against the world. I haven't made it yet, I'm still struggling. But thank God I have a decent accommondation to sleep in. My background has made me to turn an introvert. I don't have a close friend. I don't trust people. I don't believe in relationships. I can't open up to people. I see everyone as betrayer. My only desire and prayers now is for God to connect me to the right people so I can get a job and enjoy every fruit of my hard labor over the years. I have suffered a lot right from birth as if I was cursed. The reason you wrote this here is because you already know the right thing to do and are instead here to find validation for why you should probably not do it, right? If you wish to heal from all your hurts, do what you think is best for you to do, given all of the angst and hurt that you have built up inside of you. Closing yourself off from others has not helped you so far. Continuing down that path does not hold any hope. So, step out of yourself and do what you know is likely to help you heal from the hurts these people inflicted on you in the past — the power the memory of what they did holds over you still. |

CreativeOrbit: ➜Your comment is a textbook example of confusion layered on arrogance, topped with a sloppy misunderstanding of theology—Islamic and Christian. Let’s untangle your mess point by point. 1. “So antiChristian, your Quran calls the Messiah Lord?” – No, you’re cherry-picking and still getting it wrong. First, the Qur’an does not call Jesus “Lord” (Rabb) in the way Christians use it. Islam calls him Messiah (al-Masih), a prophet, the Word of God, born of a virgin, and highly honored—but not divine. ✓ The Qur’an makes it crystal clear: “Indeed, the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah…” (Qur'an 4:171) Islam doesn’t reduce Jesus’ status—it restores it to what he actually taught: submission to One God. That’s not dishonor. That’s truth stripped of pagan fusion and theological inflation. So no—Muslims don’t call Jesus “Lord” because worship is due to God alone. You can’t accuse Muslims of disrespect for refusing to commit shirk (associating partners with God)—that’s like calling a surgeon anti-medicine for refusing to drink poison. Not where to hold brief, but the Israelite term Rabbi means teacher, not Lord, though. Jesus Christ of Israel was highly honored, you say. According to Scripture, Jesus Christ of Israel is the Messiah, Prophet, King of the Jews, is also the Eternal King of Israel, promised by the God of Israel to sit on the throne of Israel forever— the throne of David. If Islam does honor Jesus Christ of Israel as you claim, does it then make sense that an eternal King is expected in Islam to bow down to the claims of an ordinary man like Mohammad, a man not even worshipped by his own followers? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Muslims Failing To Answer; Will Muhammad Follow Jesus Or Not? by Kobojunkie: 4:38pm On May 28, 2025 |
CreativeOrbit: ✓ In Islam, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is regarded as the final Messenger and Seal of the Prophets (Qur’an 33:40). Jesus the Messiah (peace be upon him) is also highly revered as one of the greatest prophets, but not divine. According to authentic Islamic teachings, Jesus will return before the Day of Judgment to fulfill specific roles, including restoring justice and correcting misbeliefs about his nature. However, it is not correct to suggest that Prophet Muhammad will "submit to the judgment of Jesus" in a way that implies superiority or hierarchy after death. Prophet Muhammad has completed his mission and passed away, having fulfilled the final revelation—the Qur'an—which is the standard of judgment for all people, including Jesus upon his return.
When Jesus returns, he will follow the Shariah (law) of Muhammad, not bring a new law. This is supported by Hadith, such as in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, where the Prophet said Jesus will "break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the jizya," and that he will rule by the Qur’an and Sunnah, not the Gospel. So, in Islamic belief, Jesus (peace be upon him) will be a follower of the final Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), upon his return—not the other way around. Moses brought a Law which created the Kingdom of Israel. Jesus Christ of Israel came and brought another Law which set up what He called the Kingdom of God, a kingdom greater than all of the kingdoms of men. Yet, according to you, less than 500 years after that, Mohammad brought a Law for what purpose exactly? 🤔 |

QuinQ: ➜ Now let's deal with this your insistence on calling him "Jesus of Israel" (so that henceforth you'd stop doing it). ➜ One of the last commandments Jesus gave the apostles was AFTER his resurrection from the dead. It is called "The Great Commission": In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus instructs his disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations." This explicit command was from the resurrected Christ HIMSELF, not Paul or anybody else. A "Jesus of ONLY Israel" would NOT give such a commandment. Add to that his various interactions with, and miracles for, Gentiles, and you can be certain Christ's message and salvation was meant for all mankind! You can't deal with someone you have for over 2 pages now refused to broach and that is the fact that Jesus Christ said His Father sent Him only to the Lost sheep of Isreal and even when He sent His followers out to only the Jewish subset of the Lost sheep, He made clear that they were also to go only to the Lost sheep of Israel. What you Christians call your great commission DOES NOT NEGATE the fact that Jesus Christ of Israel's Father sent Him only to the Lost Sheep of Israel. It also DOES NOT NEGATE the previous warning which Jesus Christ of Israel gave His followers, instructing them not to give that which is Holy to the non-Israelites. In sending His followers out to all the Nations, the understanding remained that they were to go to the Lost Sheep of Israel and not give that which is Holy— the Gospel— to the dogs — the non-Israelites. This isn't rocket science and going around and around in circles with this will not change any of the truths declared by Jesus Christ of Israel as far as His followers are concerned. |

There was no persecution" This was what you said in answer to the verse that Qing quoted "They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.” I said you are wrong that this is the act of persecution as we know it, according to ICC. ➜ and then you said the christians were not persecuted by the Romans. And I gave you example of a roman guy, Herod who persecuted the apostles and christians (act 12). ➜you are saying some christians are dogs and some are the real ones. ➜ Weren't the apostles the followers of Chris according persecuted by Herod? ➜ Also how many times do I have to say that Herod was not born Jewish? Judae, the nation of the Jews was captured by the Babylonians around 685 BCE by Nebuchadnezzar. Babylonian rule was toppled by the Persians, who also took over Judea around 620 BCE. This was followed by the Greek Empire in 330 BCE, and then eventually by the Romans in 63 BCE. Phillipi, the place where Paul and Silas were prosecuted and punished for disseminating unlawful information, was part of the Roman Province. 2. And I recall correcting you several times already, pointing out that Herod was the Jewish King of the Jews who ruled and persecuted the followers of Jesus Christ of Israel because of their beliefs, which were not seen as conforming to their Jewish religious laws. 3. Jesus Christ of Israel said His followers are of the Lost sheep of Israel - sheep. Jesus Christ of Israel is also the one who pointed out that non-Israelites were dogs and should not be handed the Gospel — Holy— citing their being incapable of handling it. The Romans—dogs— who turned themselves into a religion that plagiarized the movement started by Jesus Christ of Israel are the ones called Christians, and their religion is Christianity. 4. Also study the 400 years between the old and new testaments (For comparison, USA is only 200+ years old) I have studied all of that that and nothing of what you claim compares to facts of history. I have continually asked that you focus on providing evidence to support your claims, but you seem to think you can bully your way into winning still... why? You keep avoiding my direct questions to you only to keep asserting this nonsense of yours, and I can't help but wonder if you are in your correct mind at this point. Again, 1. The books of the Bible state that the nation existed and that Jesus Christ was born into it. History has it that Hadrian is the one who renamed it from Judea to Syrian Palestine as we have it today, and this was approximately 100 years after the death of Jesus Christ. So, what part of Google do you claim told you instead that the nation ceased to exist 600 years before Jesus Christ? 2. Well, the "Lost tribes of Israel" myth was created by those of the Religion of Christianity, a myth which contradicts Scripture itself, which clearly proves that living among the Jews( the tribes of Benjamin and Judah) were the Levites and Samaritans. How can 10 tribes of Israel be considered lost when, in the course of this discourse alone, we were able to verify that at least 4 out of the 12 lived in Judea in the first century? |
