Truthfully, only God knows what truly ensued but from what I saw in the video that was circulated recently when the police were interviewing both suspects, the taller tattooed guy is the main culprit and is only trying to implicate the other guy who was sadly at the wrong place at the wrong time. I pray justice is served and the innocent isn't unfairly punished. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace too. embarassed

Back when beauty was not about nudity and immorality but more about the strength of your character and the content of your mind.

Beautiful Okun Yoruba woman.

What pains me the most though is, you will see someone named Oyelude Atinuke yet she will be termed a northerner by virtue of our colonial masters' erroneous geographical classification which no one has bothered to rectify till date.

We okun people are Yorubas and deserve to be classed with our kinsmen in the West, not made a negligible minority in the North!!!

Because virtually all the APC candidates were the same people who ruled for 16years. Buhari, Obasanjo, Tinubu.etc etc who are now under a new flag.

To judge your stupidity/Ignarance, I needed to find the right picture. But I no get time for that.

The power of incumbency in Nigeria sha. Tiri gbosa to APC for this!!! PDP overused the privilege for 16 years so it's time to swallow the humble pie. It just goes to show how abysmal PDP were that they lost the last general elections. It's even sadder that APC doesn't seem to have learnt from their predecessors' mistakes.

This Post reminds me of when I led the most violent student demonstration back in my secondary school, May 2005. I single handedly broke 17 windows and embezzled 14 pots of jollof rice from the school kitchen. In saner climes, this would go down in history as one of the greatest examples of man's tenacity and grit in the face of oppression. Unfortunately, the Nigerian government has succeeded in covering it up as if it never happened. angry

Well, I can't speak for the places outside Abuja but a list that has Asokoro at number 10, Jabi at Number 9 and Maitama in first place is without a doubt not credible.

Maitama and Asokoro, in whatever order you place them shouldn't be far off each other, and if you consider all parts of Jabi, I doubt it should be on this list.

Where have you placed Wuse 2?

Kai, I don't even know again. I'm even more confused now than when I first posted. I've called the loan officer to inform her of my readiness to renegotiate the loan. I'd probably just pay off at once to avoid unnecessary interest. I haven't stopped my cheques though, I'm not quite clear on the legal implications of doing such and I don't want trouble with my employers. I'm also in the process of getting an official letter from the loan company informing me of the default on the loan with which I will obtain a police report which I intend to combine with the former and have my lawyer write the American embassy to assist in locating this guy. I hope this is a wise enough move.
Politics / Re: I Was His Guarantor For A Loan And He Eloped. What Do I Do? by Kockane(m): 11:22pm On Aug 14, 2016
Wow. Thanks a lot guys. I've been able to put together my thoughts and with the series of advice I've received, I will be stopping all cheques on my account as I have a right to self preservation. I cannot see cheques been presented on my account without my knowledge without doing anything to protect myself.

2. I will be requesting forthe lending company to formally write me, informing me of the default made on the loan by the person I guaranteed. The initial loan sum and outstanding amount and also informing me of what options are open to me.

3. With this letter, I will approach the police to obtain a police report.

4. With the police report and a copy of the letter from the lending company, my lawyer will write the US Embassy.

I just hope this will serve as a lesson to others as I have learnt mine the hard way never to stand as Guarantor for just anyone again.

Once again thanks for all the advice. God bless.

Politics / I Was His Guarantor For A Loan And He Eloped. What Do I Do? by Kockane(m): 6:57pm On Aug 14, 2016
Good day Nairalanders, please I am in desperate need of advise as I am confused and totally depressed. I am about to pay a painful price for being naive and stupid enough to trust someone I barely even know. This guy is a co-worker in the office, he was regional security coordinator for My office. A much older guy, and a family man at that. He approached me to stand as a Guarantor for a small loan he was taking with a money lending company and I was to sign an undertaking as well as sign blank cheques in case he defaults in payment.

As much as I had my reservations, I agreed as I just thought of the risks not being too high as he is well paid and would be able to pay back and being a staff of a financial institution, same as I, I was certain he wouldn't issue dud cheques on his account. Above all, I was being helpful to my fellow man so I was like, what d heck, lemme do it!

The first time was February last year, he paid off and took a second, which he also used me as Guarantor and all I needed to do this time was just send a mail, no docs to sign as they already had my cheques. He also paid off, then he took a third which I also sent a mail for and he was availed. This was some months back. Nothing to suggest anything was wrong or he had plans of eloping. I even still saw him as recently as two weeks back and we had a good conversation.

Now, on Friday I get a debit alert on my account for N55k from the company and I flared up immediately. Tried to call the guy to understand what was going on and his number was switched off. I drove straight to the lending company's office and met the rude manager who told me the guy's cheques bounced and they have since been unable to reach him so they debited me instead. Of his nine months to pay, he had only paid back four, remaining five. I was mad! I was neither informed nor given time to even try to reach this guy before having my account debited. It was a heated argument but I got up and left to avoid any ugly scenes. Anyways, because the cheque was issued a long time ago and the serialty didn't tally on my account, I was contacted to confirm it's authenticity to which I requested that the cheque be returned as I had no prior knowledge of it.

Now this guy's number is switched off. Word has it that he took off without a word, he is now in America with his wife and kids. He didn't even formally resign at work. He has deactivated his whatsapp. He is totally unreachable! My lawyer friend has advised that I take up issues with the lending company on why I would be debited without even informing me of the developments first. And I could also claim ignorance of the whole transaction being that only a mail from me was sent and not that I signed a document. I could claim that my account was hacked or something. I could also write the US Embassy reporting him that I was defrauded and he Eloped even worse is the fact that he took several loans and used a number of us as guarantors so I'm not alone. We could write a joint petition against the guy.

I'm just sad and depressed as to why people could be like this but I really need to know how best to go about this. I cannot pay 55k for four months out of nowhere. I like to live within my means, I don't have the heart for loans and all. Helpful responses will be greatly appreciated pls.

Lalasticlala sir, I'd appreciate if you could place this for a wider audience to see. Thanks.

Business / Re: Gtbank Is A Fraud!!! Charging My Account Unnecessarily by Kockane(m): 5:59am On Jun 23, 2016
Not like I'm a Gtb spokesperson or anything o, but from what I was made to understand, these amounts were blocked on the affected individuals accounts from the points when the airtime purchases were made but never debited. And this dates to as far back as over a year ago.

What this means is, even though the customer cannot have access to the funds, it's been in their account all this while and only now did the debit take place even though they already got value for their money at the point of transaction.

And for those who are experiencing a negative balance after the debit, calm down folks, and check your account balances after a few hrs, the block on the funds on your account will have been removed and account balance back to what it should be.

And folks, should you need further clarifications after this, you might want to request for your account statement, you would realize what I just explained. No way a bank as responsible as GTB would mindlessly debit you for a transaction you never initiated. All the best.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Is The Difference Between Executive Position And Entry Level Position by Kockane(m): 6:39am On May 05, 2016
I don't really think there is much of a difference. It's just nomenclature

Where I work, between your point of assumption, through your at least, 6-month probationary period, you are recognized as a Graduate trainee (entry level). After the confirmation of your employment, you are then recognized as an Executive trainee.

I hope this helps a little.

Nna... Did they use the place to swear for u? It's like toasting all over again, a girlfriend that left u for another man.

But on a serious note, it's not advisable. Being an old reject of the system (sorry to put it that way), they may not be very excited to take you back as every forward thinking firm would rather go after fresh faces, with new ideas, fresh energy, etc.

And in the unlikely event that they take you back, I won't expect that firm to have much regards for you, as they know however they treat you, you will always come back begging like a girl addicted to her abusive ex-boyfriend.

Last last Sha, half loaf is better than none, if it's your only option at the time, take it. But be on the look out for another job from your day one of your second stint!

All the best.

Gaming / PS4 Second Pad Stops Working After A While After Latest Software Update by Kockane(m): 9:12am On Apr 18, 2016
Hello guys,

Please I need help, I just got a ps4 that's been working fine till I downloaded the latest software update. Everything is all good till after a while of game play then the second pad suddenly stops working. It's happened on Fifa 16, mortal Kombat X so it's not the cd. Nothing responds except the ps button that takes everything back to the home page. I've tried all sorts, reset the pad, run in safe mode and done some troubleshooting, reset the game bla bla and all to no avail.

Please what can I do to resolve this. A colleague of mine is also experiencing the same thing so I'm sure it's not the game pad either. Please is there anyone else out there experiencing this? What can I do as its really getting disturbing, the game is barely 3 months old and already having issues.

Pls help. cry
