siralos135:Hehehehe... apparently, I'm not the only weirdo that made it through. |
IYANGBALI:Lmao. If only you knew... well, let's leave it at that. |
I have ZERO respect for this woman. From her days of singing for Abacha's life presidency campaign, to OBJ, down to Jonah... a woman like this would sleep with the devil for a few pieces of silver. Tufiakwa! ![]() |
Nice one. In other news: It's hard to pronounce Femi Gbajabiamila's name. In Kano, we just call him Baban Jamila. |
IYANGBALI:It's easy for you to open your dirty mouth and talk. Ignoramus. |
I'm an alumnus of this school. Things have really gone bad. #sad |
It's hard pronounce Femi Gbajabiamila's name. In Kano, they just call him Baba'n Jemila. #NoTime To all the wailing wailer, God will shame you all in no time. #MeritOverEthnicity Biko, wete'm me some likes make e pain Barcanista small. |
I am a wailing wailer. Wait... to start with, that english is even wrong. TF is a wailing wailer? Shebi it's because you wail that they will call you a wailer. Mtschew, confused people. Whatever sha, join me as I wail over this piece of news. Sai Baba!!! This is what I wail. With Baba, in the saddle, and God on our side, we will wail Nigeria to greatness!!! Biko, wete'm me some likes make e pain Barcanista small. |

Different strokes for different folks. While he is rejoicing over his granted bail application, I'm here thinking of which babalawo will help me do jazz to remove the pregnancy that shukurat, my neighbour's maid has for me and has refused to abort. Dear God, please help me. Shukura is just an agent of the devil from a bad home who was sent to destroy my destiny. My fellow Nairalanders, may no Togolese house maid ever carry unwanted belle for any of una IJN!!! Amen. |
Good luck to all the job seekers in the house. God will bless your hustle. Keep up the faith, yours will be a victory story in the end. And to the most beautiful woman on earth, Miss Atinuke Akande, this space is dedicated to you. Love you to bits boo! |
Mrsixfeet:How ya like me now? ![]() |
It was on Nairaland I got to realise that the problems of Nigeria can only be solved by God almighty. Even the most patriotic and loyal politicians need to rig elections first to be able to attain that position where they can change the face of the Nation. I recall a few days ago when I logged on to this forum and saw a topic on front page, (one of those Anti-Buhari posts) only a couple of posts so I decided to contribute my thoughts in a responsible and articulate manner, with the thoughts that my articulations may change someone's life. I took my time and composed my post, checked out for grammatical errors, punctuation, etc, then I clicked the "post" button... Boom! A post that would've been Number 10, at the very worst, landed me on page 3!!! No front page, nothing!!! My carefully articulated thoughts relegated to the background where nobody bothers to give a look. I scrolled up to see the posts that made the cut within a 2-3 minutes of having to compose mine, behold: "aaa" "lol" "ahdhdhjdj" "ok" "wow" etc, etc were the jargons these nairaland kids used to push me to page 3. I learnt a vital lesson that day, not only is the race for FTC for the swift, the race for front page is even for the swifter. No time to be forming "man of integrity", post your "hdhdhdhdh" and come back to modify. So this morning when I saw this post and only about 5 comments so far, nobody taught me to "jejely" post my "gshsjsjssj", go and have my bath, dress up, drink my akamu and hot akara, den sit down to come and develop this plot of land I bought just to articulate my thoughts so the world can see. So, what's the moral of my story: space booking is one of the fundamental problems of the Nigerian society today and this menace must be stopped before it destroys all that the Buhari government stands for. Thank you, and God bless. |
Tinyemeka:Please what school is ESUT? Naija or online sch? Yeah, I'm in marketing, and I'm surprised at the reaction of some people at this 'cause I've seen people hit BO in less. As long as you're on budget and you have a nice rapport with your boss, you can get recommended for promotion year in, year out. And no, it's not FBN or ZB, *in Asa's voice* there's a place I'd love to be... |
boneruns:Hey, what a sharp memory you got there. It's hard to believe I'd still come across someone who'd remember me from back then on this forum. Well the reality is, no option of study leave for me anymore. I'd have to resign and come back after the completion of my program, which may be subject to vacancies in the system when I get back. A bird in hand, they say, is worth more than two in the bush. I'd rather stay back and try to combine. From the suggestions on this thread, I've started making exhaustive enquiries though. |
Creamish:Thanks Bro, will be visiting the office today. Was there once o, but was too lazy to follow up on my enquiries, that's like a year ago. |
abdulrazat:I'm sorry if that possibility peeves you but its real and a lot of people out there are that fortunate. |
controlG:Thanks a lot bro, would keep that in mind. I don't know about how the grass is on your side, but in my organisation, u can get promoted every year if you're that good. |
A big thank you to everyone for their advise, it's sure kept me busy since the comments started tumbling in as I never expected this to hit frontage. I'm really grateful guys, you have being of great help. And to those who feel offended by the contents of my original post or those that think I'd come to an online forum to lie about my career, well I have nothing to prove to anyone, cynicism don't get nobody far in life. Once again, thanks everyone, two (oh, maybe in this case, a hundred) heads are sure better than one. Will definitely give feedback on whatever I decide eventually. Thanks a lot, it's been a wonderful learning experience. |
uboma:Thanks a lot sir. I'd make my enquiries. Adesiji77:Lol @ mini-biography. Just trying to give a clear pic of my circumstance so I can get tailor-made advices as wat works for Mr A might not be applicable to Mr B. Thx all d same, I'd put ur suggestion into advisement. |
Hello everyone, Please I need your advise. I'm at wits end as to how to successfully combine my career as a banker, which takes almost all of my time, with pursuit of a master's degree. I am 27, a graduate of Anatomy, 2.2 from a Federal University, with about 2 years banking experience. I recently got promoted to the level of an Assistant Banking Officer (ABO) in one of the top Banks in the country. Take home pay is about 330k/month so I'm fairly comfortable. I'm still single and ain't looking to marry within the next two-three years so I believe I have time to wrap up my masters degree before taking the big step. I'm looking to further my education, concurrently with my work, no passion for the sciences anymore, so I'm looking at an MBA. I've heard a lot of talk about online programs but I've come to realise they are either overly expensive or the cheap ones have little or no recognition in the labour market. I've tried the distance learning in one of the universities in the southeast but couldn't keep up due to time constraint, had to drop out cuz I missed a couple of tests and exams. I've also considered the National Open Uni but honestly speaking, I'd rather pursue my dreams at an institution with more pedigree (no offense intended). Pls, I'd appreciate if there are any MBA programs that are cheap and flexible for working class individuals like myself based in Abuja who have a tight schedule. Thanks everyone. |
...when you are dead but minimum requirement to enter heaven is ND certificate so your ghost goes back to write the exam for u. ![]() |
