Going by the comments I've read here, I must confess, Nigerians are the most callous humans on earth. I knew this man personally, he was a man of the people. He spoke out against the Jonathan govt, he fought for his people. The government blackmailed him, tried to bully him into submission, accused him of all sorts but he didn't give in. He was a true democrat who put the people before himself. Let's not let the dirty politics at the centre becloud our judgement. The very least anyone could wish this man is for his soul to R.I.P.

God knows best, I wish u Aljannah Firdaus. My heart goes out to his family and people.

I personally knew two of these young men. Classmates back in University of Ilorin, Anatomy class of 2010. RIP Daniel Osigbeme Braimah and Oguntoke Mohammed. Both jolly good fellas. May your souls rest in perfect peace. Amen.

chamber2: Stop talking like a farmer. Who told you it's a contract position or do you just assume anything? GT remains one of the best organisations to work with in terms of training, experience and pay.

The position advertised is for graduate trainees where you are paid over 200k per month after tax after the training of 4 months. How many organisations pay that to entry level staffs?

@op, just pray very very hard to get into GTbank and then build your career from there. Moreso, GTbank doesn't really sack staffs unlike other banks because they spend alot of money and resources training, motivating and empowering their staff. In most cases staffs are sacked on extreme situations.

The position being discussed like my friend ere has explained is not a contract job, its for executive grduate trainees, one of the highest paid in the country today, with one of the best working evironments you could ever wish for. Its a place where you get to work and learn at the same time.Be it marketing or operations, a gtb staff will always stand out.

However, for those asking how to apply, I doubt gtb is doing fresh recruitment anytym soon. The current batch f interviews is for those that wrote d aptitude test before the end of last year. There is a link for the upload of cv's on the careers page of our website, or better still for those that know members of staff of the bank, they can assist you in submitting your names straight to the H.R department.

Shoutout to all d Unilorin peeps in the house. I graduated with the Anatomy class of 2010. I wldnt say a B.Sc Anatomy is as hopeless as most of us are making look in here... Dez days, less emphasis is made on certificates but wat you have upstairs. Came out with a 2.2 and with God's help, I can look back without any regrets. I branched out totally. Today I work in one of the top financial institutions in Nigeria, and earn a fat salary, sumfn lots of doctors can only dream of for starters.

Dats not to say my anatomy degree is totally redundant @ dis stage. I intend to do HSE. Grab all four certificates and proceed for an masters degree in occupational health afterwards. Its not gonna be easy, but with determination and God on my side, I'll be dere.

All I'm saying is this: Don't lose hope, Finding urself in the basic medical sciences isn't the end of the world. 2 years ago, I was distraught by the uncertain future I faced. Now, I can only look forward with expectations and hope for the future. I have no regrets studying anatomy. Shalom.

ifyalways: First off what did the graduate "study" in school ? When folks force themselves just cos they couldn't make good scores in Jamb to do courses like "microbiology, agric science, guidance and counselling etc" in todays "Nigeria", you can't help but wonder if such people are born stoopid. I'm not saying those courses aint great, they might be outside this shores but in Nigeria and with a mere Nigerian Bsc?c'ommon please!!!

Next, what was the graduates GPA?whatever, however, anyhow, every undergraduate in Naija should aim for 2nd class minimum. ie 2.2

Even to the point of labelling people who study dem "stooooopid".
