If you chose Self Service : Your passport, 1st page of online application form, appointment letter. (Meaning you have scanned all others and submitted online)
Assisted : Take all document you have used thus far along.

I only have these two. Are these the appointment confirmation?

If you have uploaded your Tb certificate, school certificate/transcript, bank statement and the rest, you don't need to take them along for your biometrics. These are the list of things you will need: Original passport, one photocopy of passport, documents checklist, TLS appointment letter, the first page of your application and your ATM card( if you are paying for any of their services).

I've been trying to find that TLS appointment letter but I've not been able to see it. I only have a mail with the 55pounds receipt I paid and another for the sms and courier service.

Asides my passport, TB certificate, school certificate and transcript, bank statement, what else do I need to take onto the appointment for biometrics? Do I need the receipt for school fees payment, visa application fee receipt etc?

Your aunt can sponsor you, but she'd have to transfer the funds into an account bearing your name. Only your parents can sponsor you, or your provide an account with your name on it. No other option asides a verified scholarship

University of Benin, Edo State will never hand you any copy of transcripts.
You drop the address of the school and pay for courier and it is sent, if his/her school does same He has no other choice.

Ofcourse, uniben will always be stupid like that. So if you're just applying to 20 schools they'll charge you for all the 20. Thank God for life tho. Uniben for kill person

actually, our schools are different
my school sends transcripts directly to the institution, with the name written on all pages of the transcript
it was even an insider that i rubbed his hands to get my transcript scanned to me, that was why i got the one wt me that year. trying to avoid the cost, but seems i will request for a new one now

Thats some shady dealing from them. You are entitled to a copy of your transcript though. My school gave out a student's copy alongside the original certificate. I used that for all my applications. After getting the unconditional admission, if the school wants i could then request my undergrad uni send the academic copy to them directly. But in my case, they didnt request.

Transcripts are no addresses to a particular school. And there's usually two. An academic copy and a student's copy. The student copy is yours to apply to a thousand schools if you wish. The academic copy goes from your undergraduate institution straight to your school for MSc. So you should get your Student's copy and use it.

For assisted service, they'd scan and upload when you're there. So if self service, I'd say up to the morning of your appointment

Will I have to request for transcript for each one, or how do I go about it?

Also, my Bsc transcript starts from 200L cos I did a year diploma with the same school. I have my diploma statement of result, but I do not have my transcript (I've requested for the diploma transcript for more than a year now, but I haven't received it, saying they relocated, so they can't find it) Please how do I go about this

Use your undergraduate transcript AS IS and add your diploma certificate, explaining why your undergraduate studies started from the second year. If your Bsc certificate is already out, they may not request for your transcripts at all.

Can I change my appointment date after selecting one? Maybe after seeing a closer date, closer than the one already picked, can I switch?

Anyone did biometrics recently, that paid 55 pounds. Trying to book and i'm seeing the fee, but i cant see what it is for.

CCNA not necessarily, maybe n+ as CCNA is very in-depth into Cisco eco system and more about networking. He needs just fundamentals.

Plus certifications are good, home practice labs are better.
I can't emphasize the home labs enough.
There are a lot of online resources most of them are free.
Professor Messer has free n+ and sec+ videos you can use to learn.
Getting the knowledge is much more important than getting any certification

You can't secure a network if you don't know its depth, so either CCNA or Net+ is a good way to start. They serve as a very good foundation to build up on. Now I don't support chasing certs just for the certs themselves and leaving knowledge behind. But since the applicant is transitioning into IT and Cybersecurity, certs are a good way of validating his skills. Few months working in the field only might not give enough grounding as combining with a cert.

Well I was moving the funds from a UK account, didn't want to incur unnecessary loses in exchange rates fluctuations, so the dorm account was best way out.

Honestly, you are going to spend the whole day, and the processes require you stay around until the Xray is done, then you can leave and come for the result later if you wish. Averagely you are going to spend 5-6hrs. Got there 9:30, left 3:35 just yesterday

Reason is this, my spouse would like to switch to cyber security, but doesn't have any IT related background. So we are thinking of doing a bachelor's degree first.
Also, are there things that masters students are entitled, that bachelor students can't get?
Plus can a bachelor apply with dependants?

He should do professional courses first. Start with CCNA R&S, Cyber Ops and then maybe Security+. If he can, spend a few months using those skills in a company, even if it is as an intern or volunteer. The experience will give him a background in IT, that may be used to substitute his lack of academic background in the field. Alot of schools will require you have a Bachelor's in IT or working experience, before considering you for a masters in the field, else it'd be a swim against the tide.

It's part of the thrills of travels . Add it to your books of lessons learned and run from Ecobus wherever you see it. I used them from Benin to Warri and I was shocked when they brought those old wooden grandmother stools for some passengers to sit on for the trip. Las las na God dey save person, you got home safe, just be thankful and hope your write up saves the next person.
