Options yapa for the rider

*You have an allowance of 7 sims to one NIN.

*It will take a loooong time to burn through 7sims. grin. Moreover, ban is just 24 hours, after rider has cancelled like crazy.

*friend can request for a friend.
Partially Valid points.

Riders can’t cancel like crazy. I think it’s 5 cancellations or so.

Friend requesting for a friend might not be convenient.

All in all, losing a driver account is way terrible than losing a rider’s.

But they/ riders don't have much to lose.

A ₦200 sim will get you a new acct on Bolt. Not so for the driver.
Actually they have much to lose with this new NIN reg. Where can I get sim for 200?

This will be difficult especially for those of us on rental due to changes...

But my first car last yr I can still remember we did the first oil change @ 162,702mile (I hope I'm not mistaken), January 20-26th, 2020, then I started using after like a week or there about.

2nd Oil change was done sometime around July I supposed at around 172,800+ figures. ( I changed phone within these time so I lost some photos but will check my mail and revert with pictures).

P.S: within this period i.e from Jan 28th to August 19th there was Covid-19 lockdown so car didn't work for some months.

After that, I'd used other cars which I did about 10,000 miles within a month.

Present car started @100,678miles and presently at about 109,422miles.

Modify: sorry for the mistake, just checked present mileage now... See attachment below...

@ kodred, boss twalle I loyal to your government... Longest time and HAPPY NEW YEAR. You are one of those that made the year 2020 complete for me may God continue to bless you in Jesus name.

As for your question, I only did Lagos to Akure and then went to Benin immediately after drop off and returned next to Lagos.

Present car with has only gone to Ibadan once and that's all.

cc: radautoworks

CheerfulGiver:
This is false.

There is nothing misleading to an investor.

There is nothing misleading about the fact that uber allots 12 hrs driving time daily. How you use the 12 hrs is up to you, nor the fact that earnings are just earnings and that what you decide to do with the earnings sets you apart from the next man.

Investors invest based on the fact that other investors receive between 20k and 30k weekly from drivers. How the investor decides to do that is up to him. You can't hire a non performing driver and then blame it on the earnings posted on a forum. That's just grave stupidity to the power of infinity and proves that you have no business investing in the first place.
I’ve said this several times that there is money in ehailing but you really get the money if you’re are the owner of the car. The dashboard you posted is always obtainable during the festive period.

The problem investors have is they do the paper stuff and forgo some important calculations in the weekly remittance. Drivers don’t just buy fuel and pay commission, they settle police, touts, lastma, recharge their phones daily, buy data, get their lives threatened (I had to be a tout ) so yea getting 20/25k is a real sweet deal for the owner provided the driver is reasonable and not one of those tiny heads that speed past you every time flouting traffic rules.

The 800k challenge is no big deal at all. Consistently, I’ve been grossing over 25k any day I decide to work(35-50k sat/sun) so if I was working seriously for nov/dec, I’d do over 1m.

January is a different story from nov/dec although I think things would be different this time(my opinion)

You talk like jpworld by the way, mr cheerfulgiver.

It’s not only the females of south that are rude. The males also are rude i mean look at jpworld, angryigbodon, felicity001, me, gazzuzz, etc

Saying things as it is does not amount to tribalism. This job exposes you to a lot of people. There are great southern people out there but the ratio is disproportionate.

It’s a known fact that the southerners are rude by the Nigerian societal standard.

So @angryigbodon stop trying to defend the igbos by saying the yorubas smell. Every tribe/region have their peculiarities.

My opinion: It’s okay to observe and call them to order when they err and not rub it in the tribe’s faces. It only kicks the defense mechanism like angryigbodon and jpworld, chijioke17 etc.

It is what it is.

Update on the get together!!

In the last 8hrs we have been having series of reviews and counter queries on our last post. Let me use this medium to bring to the fore how and why we arrived at the needed date.

First of it, after several chats and mumbling on all suggestions, majority of us here happens to be drivers saddled with the responsibility of moving clients from point A to B thus it is imperative we put their interest first in all these.

Again, the owners of the venue informed us they will be closing for the year 2020 on Wednesday 23rd December, 2020 hence. If we cant have it between now and Tuesday 22nd 2020. Then we have little choice than to shift it further.

Furthermore, the turn up within the short period is quite low and not encouraging as at today, we have just 3 persons (myself inclusive) that have paid for it. We wouldn't want to plan in assumptions hence the shift in date.

Succinctly, this is a better time to make more and pay up than in the winterfield where everyone will want to grind and regrind to cover lost grounds. The shift in date will help all and sundry to plan and target to purpose. Many of us have lined up engagements and other stuff lined up especially this sunday thus, the shift in date.

Lastly, Thursday 21st January, 2021 was picked because with clear planning, by this day, either rental is about completing or its complete this you have the weekend to yourself. weekend is of utmost importance to every individual here, this pave the way for the shift in date.

We sincerely apologize to those of us that do other stuff aside driving as we know this date really won't be in your favor, but to celebrate one another, we can create time out of the busy schedule to meet and greet as we start the new year in a Fantabolous way.

Please lets endeavor to pay up and on time to avoid last minute gbas gbos.

We move!!
Great work you doing bruv. I think the 21st of Jan is ideal because to spare two hours or more on December with the plenty surge and on a Sunday is not a good deal for drivers. Most drivers use Sundays to make up. I for one drive only on Saturday and Sunday now because of less traffic and sweet surge.

After several weeks of battling fear of starting bolt driving, I finally came out to drive on the platform today.
Below are my one-day experience;
I started in the afternoon (around 1pm), finished 3 trips around 5pm. All the riders I picked are in a hurry and most of them said I'm slow ( well, its my first time, but I didn't let them know, I'm not conversant with most of the roads, but Google map saved me, it helped me in all the trips, )
My earnings on the three trip was 6800. All the trips was cash trip. 6200 was paid to me. Would have made more driving back home assuming my phone battery was not dead. The application consume battery and I was not with a USB charger.

All in all, it wasn't easy, even trying to please the riders.

I'm considering taking another break for now.
And you just start work o...

I keep asking myself this same question.. but of recent I have been seeing a lot of Pruis on Lagos roads.. I personally use a Toyota Pruis and since December last year I have had no single problem with it.. other than regular oil change not one single issue. Sometime in October I took it to Ilorin and back on 5k fuel had to refuel at Berger. I don’t do Uber or bolt, but I always think how massive the profit will be if I do.
The day you try to hustle with a prius is the day you give your village people license to your discombobulate your life.

A good deal, only if the acct is real.

She will fuel the car, all the 50k is surely yours.

You can do other things the moment you drop her, as she said.
It is dec 21-Jan 9, so, it is 150k+ whatever you make in Dec 1-20.

I never worked in December before, but if your 200k per week is true, then.................
The fueling is negligible as you guys wont be driving all day. You can't really do anything. She owns you for a stipulated time. If you like, dey sleep, the moment she call, na movement.

From 21 to 31 dec I can net over 150k if I work daily. I still have Jan 1st to 9th even after also enjoying dec 1-20.

It's a good deal averagely but not in ember months especially DECEMBER.
