Lol you're a comedian. How old do you think I am? Unlike you I'm not dragging respect on this forum like some insecure agbaya! Senior men on this thread behave sensibly and are given their due respect but nobody disrespects any except you and your penchant for childish outbursts.

Do yourself a favour and grow up.
Pls Chris baba,let it slide.

Tobias Okiki Lawal.Good to see him against Liverpool and hope NFF can convince him to drop Austria citizenship cuz Austria law is against dual citizenship. It was this barrier that stopped him from featuring for Nigeria under Rohr.

You don't have to be extremely good to play ahead of those I mentioned.

In my opinion, he is just better than them.
A rookie like Igoh Ogbu to be better than Veteran Omeruo,Ekong,Ajayi,Adarabioyo and ,Bassey to me he is extremely good.

Defense shaping up, Forward loaded, but midfield is thin. Shey we no get midfielders ni. Make we bring in these U17/U20 boys. Teams playing 15-16yrs old players no get 2 heads now.
I will always give it to Westerhoff. He knew after Senegal 92 that he was having issue of traditional number 6 which is DM.He searched and got Oliseh, against Ethiopia Sunday Oliseh at 20 send experienced Friday Ekpo away from the team with his displayed.

Peseiro just need to open more to solve the midfield issues cuz against North Africa teams you need a balance midfield and in a tournament names don’t do it but team chemistry

How old was Pele when he won the world cup for Brasil?
I remember when Awoniyi got his first cap under Keshi…Iwobi under Siasia…Leon Balogun under Keshi….Osimhen under Rohr if am rightly…Henry Nwosu was 17 years old in 1980 Afcon…Keshi was 21 and captained eagles….Adokiye a university student

We are having issue in the middle and is glaringly but we are still dragging on emerging young talents like Eletu and Akinsanmiro. All we need now is to fix the missing link and make the team balance cuz tactically Peseiro has not really convinced me.

Senegal no sabi! I am not scared of any team. They should be wary of us.
We will break any AFCON defence with a rejuvenated Ndidi and Iwobi in midfield, and an attack of Boni, Moffi, Lookman, Chuz, Simon and the Oga himself (Osimhen).
Without injuries/red card AFCON will be a walk over for us! Believe me!
Yes but we failed in last Afcon and WC qualifiers due to poor goalkeeping and if care is not taken am seeing the same scenario happening…imagine Uzoho warming the bench in a very poor league .

You agree he is an English national team legend. Then try to downplay with across the board. That downplay is going out of context of the debate.

The debate is about tactical knowledge, not comparing Le Saux with Maldini or Carlos or Puyol.

Now, an English national team legend, meets a young player and gets some tactical concepts of defending from the young player. Then exclaimed that he learnt more in that lesson than all he learnt in his whole career.

That is the point. Not comparing across board.

The gulf in knowledge between Le Saux, who is a bigger name as far as I am concerned to Alderweireld will give you a picture of how the old guards are less informed tactically.
In summary does it makes Le Saux a poor player to new generation players.

Knowledge in football should not be static so not a news to me that Le Saux acknowledged the recent tactics in football or do you want the tactics to remain as it was ten years ago.

We don’t need to talk much on this except if you are using the new knowledge to downplay older ones.

Well your formation but seeing Osimhen and Awoniyi partnership should tell you that either Yekini or Osimhen, one must be on the bench cuz Yekini/Owubokiri partnership against South Africa was a reminiscent of Osimhen/AWO against São Tomé.

Joe drew our attention to Le Saux and Toby interview to drive his point and to be candid there is that wide gap now but the same Le Saux will make the present England team that’s having Chilwell.

There’s no way that osimehn won’t be on Nigeria all time xi even if his career end today (God forbid) tell me a Nigerian footballer that achieved something similar to what osimehn achieved at Napoli last season? Mind you, the likes of Kanu, Mikel, martins, Moses all won league titles at the big 3 but they wasn’t as integral at their team as osimehn was at Napoli last season
Sir,my opinion and I said as it stand today, hope you see Osayi in my team….

Osimhen still have Yekini to beat and his Afcon performance will determine that, not even all time highest goal scorer. He is close to my all time team but Yekini still has the edge for now…

Graeme Le Saux from Jersey a English channel island.I followed him passionately as Chelsea fan,a good left back in his days.

Well,am opportune to watch old,new and vastly new generation of footballers.Yes there are massive improvements in what we are having today which is expected but I will not use that to downgrade the past footballers.

Sir,I want this discussion to start from Nigeria using eagles as our reference point from 1980 till date and compares the set of eagles.

That is not the point. The fact you putting him as a player close to the Mikel Mould yet always seem to be reserved about him screams some form of contradiction on your part.

Also, he wasn't average against Farense. Nwakali completed the most accurate passes (62) in the entire game for both teams. He was also the most fouled player in that game (was fouled 5x). Additionally he created 2 chances and recorded 20 final third pass entries with 14 recoveries. Average showing?? That is not true.

Also, vs Moreinense, he again wasn't average. He created the most chances in that game (3 created) and also won the most duels (10). He also delivered 14/18 accurate long balls with 13 progressive final third pass entries.
Average again?? Nope Kog, it is not true.

Yes he was average against Fareinse and Moreinense,my opinion.Pls does putting him and Mikel in the same sentence stop him being average in matches.

Leave Kog45. He is trying as much as he can to seem neutral when it comes to Nwakali but it is clear he doesn't rate the lad. So how will he analyse right on the lad?

Below is Kelechi Nwakali in the Portuguese Primeira Liga Bwin this season so far.

Kog45, kindly point out the Chaves game where he was average.
Doctor, forget that am trying to be neutral.I rate him or not I will pick Nwakali ahead of Aribo as it stands if I have my way cuz I see him as only midfielder that can give me Mikel at least.

I said Hector is the best Chavez player cuz he is like Vardy to Leicester in Chavez.

I guess I just read Rookie in Portuguese league. Meaning your definition of a Rookie means that he is right. I don't think Kel have any experience in Portuguese league 1
I don't think he said that he is a rookie footballer.
I don’t think there is need to term a professional player who has some experiences as rookie just cuz he is playing in new league. It is inappropriate.

Sir,do you see anyone using such word here to justify a player performance.Nobody call Awoniyi a rookie last season in EPL or you see anyone defending Onuachu and Aribo as rookies in EPL last season.

In the manner Victor Boniface is regarded as a rookie in the German Bundesliga, in the same way Kelechi Nwakali is a rookie in the Portuguese league.

Context is key, but you failed to grasp it.

At your statement in bold, how am i talking down on Nigerian players doing well.
If you can't point them out, then you need to apologise.
Sir Meliforme, rookie in a real definition is someone who is new on a job without experience.

Pls let’s stop using some words to suit our analysis.I am hearing it for the first time that a professional player who has been on the job for some years and moving to a new league is a rookie.
