elyte89: Dt akpoguma na scam ….he doesn’t play like a German breed…we knew when balogun was introduced…we could c d difference,it was an instant hit Akpogunma is always playing in eagles as if he was forced to change nationality. |

elyte89: I can’t talk about musa cos obviously we av better options, however in dt defense ,omeruo and balogun is needed ,I never trust dt bassey guy and semilogo Ajayi sometimes mess up his games.. So Semi don messed up in eagles before…..Balogun is not really playing right now but I think Omeruo is playing…Bassey,Akpogunma are suspects as CBs. |

charlesemeka85: the right cover/understudy to iwobi should be young Akinsanmiro
Person wey be almost age mate with person no suppose be em cover 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s more ideal when a rookie/youngstar understudy older players inorder to take over the mantle flawlessly when the older player retires Oga Charles, just say you preferred Akinsanmiro cuz age has nothing to do with cover in football, even Etebo can cover for him. |

Let's see what Magic CAF will perform to deny Osimhen the African Footballer of The Year Award. Oga just forget CAF when it comes to APOTY but Osimhen is winning it. Pls is this year APOTY to be decided by fans or FAs and national team captains |

chrisooblog: Even that is debatable however the harsh reality is as at today both of them are not at the level to be SE number 1. Sir,pls go and watch Ghana vs Nigeria first leg and tell me who is better between Uzoho and Okoye though I don’t rate both. Sir Chris,on what ground would anyone be telling me Okoye is better than Uzoho in eagles |

chrisooblog: Bro make we call a spade a spade Okoye get at least 70% blame for that goal but I didn't condemn him because of that one mistake. He had been dropping errors here and there for us SE fans to be worried.
That said everyone makes mistakes won't object if he's recalled to the national team as long as he has improved. Thank you.I keep on asking, which match Okoye showed real glimpse as a keeper for eagles or any remarkable saves. |

chrisooblog: I feel we have seen the best of Omeruo his lack of pace is too glaring these days. Think we need younger faster guys. We have seen the best of Omeruo is not issue or his pace which was even better than Akpogunma and Bassey against Guinea Bissau. Omeruo still making eagles is cuz the young ones have not really impressed. |

chrisooblog: I concur with your list however I would swap Omerue with Jordan (if he's impressive) or Awaziem. Last attacking spot would probably go to who impresses the most between Orban, Sadiq Umar, Moffi and Akor Adams.
If the list is 26 I would add one more winger Ejuke or Olayinka, another midfielder (anyone of Nwakali, Alhassan, Ebenezer, Eletu etc) and Bruno as cover for Zaidu. Omeruo is making the list and in fact likely to start with Semi Ajayi unless other CBs prove they are betters |

TheSuperNerd: Not true @bolded.
JPes still doesn't know sh*t about what he needs in the middle. His list alone proves it.
Lookman and Iheanacho worked well majorly because the opponent was Sao Tome. Taking nothing from both lads but against Tougher opposition in African football, they both won't see, regularly, in a game the space they saw against Sao Tome in the half spaces and between the lines.
So playing Lookman and Iheanacho as false wingers behind Awo and Osimhen was just to overwhelm Sao Tome with our attacking prowess. Something they as a far weaker opposition obviously could not cope with. Yes São Tomé a weaker opposition but playing Iheanacho and Lookman as false wingers despite having Aribo and Onyedika on the bench tell a lot. I quite agreed with you on Peseiro but what is the way out |

Na recycling we dey do with this 4 since. Na God hand SE MF dey. Oga that’s the fact….if I have my way then I will include Nwakili and Akinsanmiro not minding his limited exposure as a professional they offer something different….Ndidi,Aribo,Onyeka and Onyedika are limited so Iwobi need cover up… Lookman and Iheanacho in São Tomé match showed that Peseiro knew his limitations in the middle. |

Truidstar: If you watched Jpes after match parley with the press… there will not be new players… he has his team already and wants them to play more together. Likely to see Okoye back in the team and Omeruo,Iwobi,Sanusi,Akpogunma and Osayi…..am seeing Ebuehi,Collins out and one of Jordan or Akpogunma dropped,Onyedika will need to prove that he is needed. |

Marjoribanks: I have post about why it is not possible to play on Wednesday in my earlier post. Our boys have games on Friday and Saturday? There is no way they would play on Wednesday and fly on Thursday and then play on Friday/Saturday. No club would allow that. Only teams in Europe are playing on Wednesday. I am sure no African team has a match schedule for Wednesday! Of course, Egbon. I just want us to learn to show understanding with our Federation sometimes. Okay baba |

forgiveness: There was no Amuneke and Finidi when he finished second joint top goalscorer in 1990 AFCON neither was there Amuneke in 1992 AFCON when he finished top goalscorer.
It has nothing to do with the caliber of players he played with. Top scorer Algiers 90 with team full of home based players with Andrew Uwe and Ademola Adeshina as professionals. |

Amedino99: I'm not sure it really matters that much. Ghana once laboured to beat Sao tome 1-0 and 3-1 but we know the story when we landed on them. And besides under rohr whose goal limit was 4, we beat them 4-2 and 3-0. Now imagine what a Jpes team will do to them. Icon4s analogy was telling us to take every match serious and not to underrate any team…. |
