Chai Odion Afcon highest goal scorer.Honestly we are covered in case Osimehn is not available. At least one or two can come in.

Why would any sane manager put gift orban a forward in the midfield when they can scout for actual midfielders. This is how coaches water down player’s performance by playing them at the wrong position
I thought you said no midfielders. In view of your assessment then a good coach should do with what he has and give us result.I gave you an instance of Siasia and Garba Lawal doing the needful if called upon.

What sort of imbalance team do we have now? A team that’s saturated with decent/top class forwards and no midfielders. By this rate, we can select a 2 1 7 Formation. Nigerian players should stop collectively aspire to become a forward and should try midfield
I think we need a good tactician to give us a good team.

Someone said Orban can be drafted to the middle and to me possible with a good coach.I remember Westerhoff sometimes preferred Samson Siasia in the middle ahead of Mutiu Adepoju,Thompson Oliha, even ahead of Jay Jay in US 94.

Sir,with what we have now, even with thin midfield Nigeria can still have a very solid team.Oliseh was not unavailable against Brazil and Garba Lawal did a good job despite not his natural position.

It’s left for Peseiro to do the needful.

Dialogue with ECOWAS and not reverse the coup

Niger citizens has made their choice so Tinubu should leave them alone
Haha see how you are flexing muscles on top Niger matter just cuz your preferred candidate is not the president.I know with your preferred choice you would have said Nigeria is America of Africa and invading Niger is a necessity.

Do not worry Tribunal can still favor your candidate if he can prove himself in court but you know what Tinubu is right on Niger matter,no way to coup plotter who will later changed to civilian and at the end not better than ousted Bousam.

If osimehn was a white boi the way Nike would have been marketing him would be crazy because he’s clearly Air-osimehn
Osimehn should just try and cut a cult figure for himself in the world of sports and see brands falling for him.Usain Bolt from no where got it so nothing on black.

We have players with different flicks captured by cameras and with brands like Adidas,Puma and Nike but till dates Messi and Ronaldo are enjoying the limelights, though Neymar,Mbappe do got the attention.

Victor Osimehn need clubs like Real Madrid,Barcelona,Manchester United,Bayern Munich to get real fans base worldwide.

That's wrong. The first Nigerian or super/green eagle to play for Spurs is Owerri born wing wizard, John Okechukwu Chiedozie. In about 53 matches for Spurs, he scored 12 goals as a winger.
John Chiedozie LIFEBUOY soap advert on NTA in the 80s made him popular than his eagles appearances.Infact cuz of his advert we used lifebuoy soap in our house.

He had 9 caps with 2 goals, injury really limited his chances. He was one of those black players who made huge transfer fees in the 80s.

Chiedozie was signed by Tottenham with a fees of £375k and played the games in English league with Justin Fashanu the first black player in the world that was signed for £1m,also with John Fashanu and Man united Remi Moses.

John Chiedozie was tipped as a replacement for Segun Odegbami. He was honored with order of Niger(OON)

No pressure will fill him unless he put that pressure on himself.

If you were to put 2 Harry Kanes in Tottenham the best they’ll do is 6 or 7 in the league.

Toth is a mid tier team and only have two world class players the rest are average.
Aside from their fans who expect Tottenham to do anything?

My point is gift will shine but he shouldn’t put unnecessary pressure on himself that he should carry the team.

Tottenham are an inconsistent and unserious team just like how arsenal were years prior
Oga there would be pressures on him.

He is replacing Harry Kane so expect pressures.English football is being controlled by fans and media and they always come on any players who failed to measure up and replacing Kane is a huge tasks.

I would love Gift in Lille and developing more just like Osimehn but if he believes he can do it then no issues.

Dele keep for Volley Football Club while I keep for United Bomber under late Coach Barrier. Dele had ever been recognized among his contemporaries as a unique and very skillful goalkeeper from back then. I was popularly known as EASY PARTY.
Congratulations to Dele on this rare privilege.
Easy party well done,na una senior in Ilorin football family Dey hail you.

Poor preparation, not talent. Remember the whole Phillip Trousierre debacle and then bringing in Bora. Bora started working with another team, which had the likes of Ganiyu Ajide, yaro yaro, Siasia and co. Then later towards the world cup, we hurriedly put the team together.

Different from Westerhof who was stable for about five years. So the synergy was more. However, talent wise, Super Eagles 98 was more talented than Super Eagles of 94.
Sir compare the 98 and 94 teams positioning

Kanu is not an out and out striker but a supporting/Auxiliary forward player who plays better behind a number 9

Kanu’ genius hv never been he’s goal scoring prowess but creativity, link up play and finesse

Kanu was just like he’s ex team mate in arsenal Bergkamp who wasn’t really a goal monster but blessed with high footballing IQ and technique

Oga Charles nobody is doubting his abilities but I want to tell he was not the best in eagles when we are talking about supporting forwards that have played for Nigeria.

My opinion I gave it to Samson Siasia who brought the best in Rasheed Yekini.

You are saying average based on goals. Not average based on overall contributions. Kanu's game was more than just a striker. He played a lot of deep roles which made the team fire offensively. Kanu operated deeply a lot, that the other strikers could never offer. This is in regards the Super Eagles. That was why he was a regular.
Oga goodjoe, pls go to archive and tell me who has better assist and deep roles between Siasia and Kanu in eagles.

Yes, the team was good however, the team did not even defeat any strong opposition. Losing to an Italian team that played with 10 men for more than 45 minutes is unforgivable! That world cup was there for the taking.

Kanu Nwankwo brought far more to the team than goals. That is why he was key and regular. His operation of deep and bringing the other forward players into game was a prime tactical strength of the team. That was why he played for the likes of Ajax when they were winning Champions League and reached the finals and Arsenal in their most dominant time.

The goals of Siasia and Amokachi never got them close to such level or recognition.
Oga goodjoe, our talks centered on eagles not Ajax,Arsenal exploits.Kanu was average in eagles.Kanu remarkable efforts in eagles was 2002 WC qualifier scoring 4 goals with Victor Agali also scored 4 goals.
