Not necessarily. I'm not saying he should turn to the rock just add a little bulk and serious strength to help him be more imposing on the field of play. What's the point of more mobility when you can be bullied off the ball so easily.

Movement yes I agree that's where the strength and durability comes in.
A good midfielder must know what to do with ball and close spaces, not necessarily imposing.

TheGoodJoe:
Kelechi Nwakali does not get bullied off the ball because of his quick playing style. He releases the ball fast, drifts into free spaces to give him more time on the ball and has some smooth skills to sail put of tight spaces.

What he needs is to move more and command more areas. Not bulking which will defeat the earlier aim of mobility.
Henry Nwosu,James Obiorah,Emma Ebiede,Duke Udi,Christian Obodo,Jay Jay Okocha are midfielders who only did it with the ball and off the ball it seemed they are nothing but their contributions to the team were immensely…Walahi Mourinho killed Mikel for us,our Mikel was almost turned to a fighter.Imagine Mikel under Guardiola.….Kelechi Nwakili only need right coach to excel not gym

I never said it’s not a good move but using the word vindicated is a no for me

I will only accept that if he attracts a move away from Chaves after 1 or 2 seasons to any of Portuguese big clubs or midtable clubs in Spain,France, epl or Germany 🇩🇪

A move to Chaves which is a top flight team is just ok but not commendable to me. Even with such move getting invitation to the national team won’t be easy unless he’s putting out superb performances with mouth watering figures via goals and assist to show for it
Aribo played nothing last season and still got invitations.

I disagree that it would be a huge task for him to get invitation Abi no be our super eagles again, nothing special in our midfield that would stop average performing midfielder to get invitation.

How many assists Aribo and Onyeka got last season, apart from Iwobi i don’t see anything special in our midfield.

Hi egbon what I meant about hitting the gym is adding strength and weight to his physique so that he will have more grit and durability to withstand challenges which comes with the territory of being a midfielder.

Yes I'll be happy for Nwakali if he can go to Portugal to revive his career.
I got your point wella but I have seen different midfielders with different physiques but when a player see right coach then no issues.

This part I don't get about the guy. Or he needs to hit the gym to bulk up ni? undecided

Time is running out for him because we're just a fantastic debut season away for either Eletu or Ebenezer forgetting about Nwakali as far as SE is concerned.
First question, moving from relegated Segunda team to Portugal league is what?hitting the gym?

All Nwakili need is right coach that will believe in him and shake things up.If he is not ambitious he would have put pen on paper for Santander in Segunda again,so let’s just wish the young man well, hope the deal works out.

Yes you are right on Eletu and Ebenezer but you know what,it is good having your players doing it in top tier leagues, having the likes of Alhassan,Onyedika,Eletu,Ebenezer,Nwakili,Frank Onyeka,Joe Aribo,Ndidi and Iwobi is a big plus for our midfield.

vindicated cus em join lowly rated Chaves wey fit relegate next season? In the portuguese league if u don’t play for porto, benfica, sporting and braga u re more or less in the same bracket with 2nd tier players in England,Spain,Germany and Italy 🤣🤣

Also aside the 4 top Portuguese clubs I mentioned others don’t pay well

At Chaves Nwakali is highly likely to earn below 10k euros weekly
Yes vindicated cuz I said better for him to join any division one team than Segunda league.

Nobody rate 2nd tier European leagues with Portugal league.Yes monetary wise England championship is ahead but generally, second tier leagues in Spain,Germany and Italy are not at par with Portuguese primera league.

Yes earning 10k euros weekly is cool based on what he earned in Segunda even Chuckwueze in la liga is earning poor wages,so to me is a good leap for him from Segunda to Portugal first tier league.

Portuguese top tier club GD Chaves interested in Kelechi Nwakali

Czech and Danish clubs interested too
Good for him if he can get first tier club in Europe than wasting in second tier division and from reliable source Nwakili is avoiding second division teams to boost his chances with Super Eagles.

I said it here that only first division will give him real opportunity in eagles.I hope Chaves deal materialized than all these average Segunda clubs.

Ex internationals like olofinjana, emenalo, oliseh, kanu, tijani, eguavoen etc should be the ones manning positions in the nff not politicians who know nothing with regards to that sector
Do you think Okocha can do it cuz Daniel Amokachie was a special assistant on sport to Buhari and nothing special happened.

Razaq I know you are from Kwara state.Pls are you happy with what is going on in the state regarding development where some people would just get government appointments to enrich themselves.Yes there is poverty in the land and last primary elections testified to that when performing senator Oloriegbe lost to money bag Saliu Mustapha who has nothing to offer than just to give money out due to high poverty rate in the state. We said enough of Oloye Saraki style of politics but the same Ilorin people embraced the same style from Saliu Mustapha…..Oga Ilorin people rule Kwara State with impunity and they don’t care, treating other senatorial districts as slaves .I don’t want to go into religion aspect but you know what xtians are facing in Ilorin, even ordinary low cadre employments are for Muslims…..it’s a pity how learned people in the name of religion seeing the truth but looking other ways.Imagine praying on the federal roads during jumat, stopping motorist from passing for more than an hour..My man nawa o

If the federal government really care, they should obey court order and release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

How many times will the governors like Soludo, Peter mba of Enugu state and other leaders has asked FG to release Kanu to them?. The chief terrorist himself Buhari said he will allow the Court to do their job. Then court summoned courage and did the acquittal, yet he told DSS to continue to detain him. Are you ignorant of all this?
Sir are you part of UGM?cuz it seems you have sympathy for them cuz your comments here damn too watery.
