Joebie: Sincerely speaking, Akpeyi doesn't LOOK confident between the sticks. It's surprising going by his exposure. Ezenwa is much of a showman. I guess that's what he does to kill tension. And it's helped him a lot. However, the Ghana game exposed him. He may not be to blame for all the goals, but conceding 4 goals in a match doesn't look good for any keeper. Ajiboye, on his part, we have not seen enough of him. He MAY just be the best of the trio. He needs more games for us to really tell.
Overall, choosing between Akpeyi and Ezenwa can be tricky. yea choosing between Akpeyi and Ezenwa get as ebi |

Joebie: Celebrate not yet. OGN may come back few hours of the match to say Rohr made a U-TURN. Ezenwa now to start. Jobie be sincere what is d different between Akpeyi and Ezenwa even Ajiboye.I watched Ajiboye against Guinea i notice is even more composed than Ezenwa. When we are kids if we don't believe in our keeper,do u know what we normally say'na God we put for post' Honestly am not that disturb on our goalkeepers again coz Ezenwa has done it against Cameroon and is still available for selection. Akpeyi is available but majority don't want him coz of SA match,if we want to go by SA match, then apart from Mikel,Balogun,Moses,Ighalo, others should go coz d whole team failed us against SA. |

Daejoyoung: What I'm saying is that Etebo or Ogu would help us retain possession more against a fast team (relying on the pace of their wingers)and also give the attackline more steam. Ndidi is better against less mobile opponents like Cameroon, where he is there to chase the ball but not necessarily keep possession. meaning Etebo should replace Ndidi in d starting XI,better to continue with Mikel-Onazi-Ndidi,hope w round it up against Zambia. |

Daejoyoung: Confidence is more important, because it can't be imbibed in a day, but recklessness is easier to overcome or guard against, so I'll go for Ezenwa. Likely Akpeyi is starting but let's wait and see coz Rohr is still saying it Akpeyi is No 1 for now in d absence of Ikeme. |

komekn: I agree with the larger part of your view.
He was definitely not a technically gifted player, a simplistic ENFORCER with a bit more intelligence than Vinny Jones. Defensive midfielder who prided himself as the hardest man in football.
Keane's autobiography in August 2002, in which he stated that he intended "to hurt" Håland. Keane's account of the incident was as follows:
I'd waited long enough. I fucking hit him hard. The ball was there (I think). Take that you cunt. And don't ever stand over me sneering about fake injuries.
In today modern game he would not be able to make it into the premiership. Beyond bully boy tactics which worked in the EPL at that time, he didn't offer much more.
Never forget the day Thierry Henry got into an argument with him. He tried to get rough, but Henry mesmerised him with skill and left him for dead.
He will be in the list of most red cards in the EPL and that's with alleged favouritism given to Fergies players. He Keane should have been given a lot more than he got. goldfish80 and thegoodjoe, with komekn contributions,u guys should end this and let us discuss Nigeria vs Zambia match coming up. |

kennysville: Folks, countrymen, Nigerians!!! Can we please leave this legendary talk of Mikel being a legend. There will always be arguments as to wwho is a legend, who is better between Messi and CR7, who is the greatest footballer Pele or Maradona and so on.
The discourse at hand should be Nigeria vs Zambia. I expect tactics, analysis and strategies with the pool of players we have invited. What Zambians think is irrelevant cos what they havent factored in is the high humidity levels in Nigeria. One thing is sure, if our selection is devoid of sentiments and is done with utmost objectivity, we will definitely fly. Therefore people, let the analysis flow, projections, and so on .... legend talk is a bit... er... um ... boring!!! God bless u |

forgiveness: Of course, AVB contributed to that success na. After all, he took them to the quarter finals. AVB took Chelsea to quarter final? My man Di Matteo took Chelsea to quarter final after turned d 1st leg 3-1 lost to Napoli in d 2nd leg by winning 4-1. My man anything to say again Pls stop ridicule d big boss Stephen Okechuckwu Keshi made his debut for Eagles in 1981 at d age of 19 and made d team to Libyan 82,later bench Chairman Christian Chuckwu during d tourney. Keshi remain d youngest player to captain Eagles at age of 22 in 1984 afcon The big boss left d country in frustration after Group Captain Tony Ikhazoboh ban him from national team just coz he represent NNB in WAFU cup final and couldn't make Lagos camp d same day As God we have it Stade fc in Abidjan safe his career by signed him up,after 6 months,Lokeren in Belgium came calling and signed for Lokeren. Keshi moved to Belgian giants Anderlecht after a season with Lokeren and paved way for so many Nigerian players namely Austin Eguavoen,Samson Siasia, Etim Esin,Ademola Adeshina,Chidi Nwanu,Peter Rufai, even a Ghanian Nii Odartey Lamptey, just to mention a few. Big boss was d first Nigerian to ever played in final of any UEFA competition (Anderlecht vs Sampdoria)which Anderlecht lost by 2 goals to nil courtesy of famous Italian Legend Vialli. Keshi moved from Anderlecht to Strasbourg in French league, singlehandedly took Strasbourg from 2nd division to division 1 and paved way for young Nigerian players like Victor Ikpeba, Godwin Okpara who was signed by Strasbourg through Keshi's recommendation. Big boss was d first Super Eagles captain to qualified Nigeria for world cup, despite a terrible knee injury that sidelined him for months, Keshi returned and captain d team against Algeria in Algiers,a very tense match that we need a draw, thank to Findi goal. Till today he remain d highest goal scoring defender in Nigeria, his goal ratio better than King KANU. Also only player in Nigeria to lead Super Eagles to 2nd round in d world cup as a player and coach. Keshi remain d only player in Nigeria to lift sfcon as a player and coach,so respect to a great Legend that comes out of Africa. The first African to coach three Africa national team, namely Togo,Mali,Nigeria. Keshi w be remembered for qualified tiny Togo for biggest football event in d world(world cup) Truly he failed to qualify Nigeria to 2015 afcon, but his pedigree as a player and coach cannot be debated or ridicule. Respect to d big boss Stephen Okechuckwu Keshi. |
